London Fog

!!!3 week update! I wanted to come back on here to review this perfume after a few weeks. Initially I thought maybe this wasn’t an ideal perfume for me- not that I didn’t love it at first, it’s a beautiful fragrance but I think maybe I was wondering how and when I would reach for this. Well! Lemme tell you! after some time it has really grown on me and I reach for it in these occasions; when I need to relax and take a few deep breaths, when I get out of the shower, before bed, before I put on my pajamas, when I’ve got the day off and I get to stay home and be cozy comfy in my house. That’s what this perfume is for, and I can see how maybe I would reach more for it if it were winter/fall maybe I’d wear it out but THIS is ultimate relaxation. I find myself taking in sniffs of it when I feel like I need a moment of calm. My ONLY gripe is... it doesn’t last... and that’s OK! But I do find that after no more than two hours I can’t really smell it anymore. Not a problem for me honestly! I’m willing to reapply when I need it. This is a great aromatherapy type fragrance, before bed fragrance, after a bath- I’ve truly loved to fully appreciate it. Just ordered another similar fragrance called Sleepy Ghost by Poesie, and I will be deciding on which one I’ll buy a full bottle of. We will see!!! Nontheless, buy it, even if it’s just the 5ml it’s such a unique experience and I’m sure you will find a unique use for this fragrance like I have. ❤️

Just got my 5ml in the mail. I’m always on the hunt for perfumes that aren’t “perfumey”- I don’t like to overwhelm the people around me with my fragrance. To each their own, I stumbled upon For Strange Women for this very reason, it seems they are really good at perfecting the more natural and earthy side of fragrances and smells. London Fog is exactly what you asked for, it smells like a tea bag. In the best way possible it smells like tea. I put it on myself and my boyfriend, and I think I liked it better on him. If it were to be perfect for me personally I’d like to smell a bit less citrus and a little more of the milk/cream/honey note. A great way to describe it would be an unsweetened London fog latte... I think I wanted more sugar and more milk... I have a few perfumes I can layer with this one to achieve that though. At the moment, I’ll be wearing this to bed to relax or layering with a more airy, sweet, laconic perfume from my collection.

If you like the smell of tea and want to smell like a creamy true tea this is for you. It smells so much like London fogs I would make myself. A lot of this 'milky' for the scent is coming from the vanilla and honey, so if you don't like scents with vanilla maybe I wouldn't recommend it? But it is far more TEA forward which I love so much. As with basically all their scents they are quite intimate, focused on a nice complex close to your skin, definitely for the wearers enjoyment and those who might be close by. This is one of their shorter lasting scents at about 5~ hours (give or take depending on both weather and activity) in my experience, but for $32 (I bought it at their brick and Mortar location) for their 5 ml which requires so little product I think it was very worth it.

This perfume is so delicious. It starts citrus, but on the dry down was very much the smell of tea leaves with hints of citrus and honey. It evolved to a softer, creamier scent after a couple hours. Perfect to wear walking around a small town on an autumn day while you browse used bookshops. Very much a fragrance for you that won't attract a ton of attention, but if you have it on your neck or behind your ears, then if you're sitting close to someone or give them a hug, they might notice.

This smells exactly like when you order a London Fog at a café, its spicy, warm, and a little sweet smelling. It leans much more spicy/tea forward then sweet for sure, but I do get a hint of sweetness. I don't get a lot of the citrus notes, if at all but it could just be my skin chemistry. Its a very cozy scent and I find it super easy to wear. It also lasts forever on me and every time I turned my head I got a little whif of it which I love.

This is a lovely, comforting scent. Until recently, I never thought of wearing perfume to bed, but London Fog is THE perfect scent to send you off to slumber. Not cloying or migraine inducing in the least. I was so happy to see FSW brought this beloved perfume back a few years ago. It's the speed of gourmand this gourmand hater can handle.

One of my absolute favorite perfumes, it smells JUST like a london fog!! While it's a bit pricey and doesn't last that long I think it just smells so good that I can overlook it. You will need to reapply quite frequently so be prepared to buy a new bottle more often than you think.

I want to spray this EVERYWHERE- as it is, I carry it around with me. Photorealistic Earl Grey tea with fluffy lactonic notes, and it is heavenly to wear during rainy weather. Glorious creation For Strange Women, apparently, like me. :) Couldn't be more pleased.

GODDDDD I want to eat it so bad. Got a sample with my order and am honestly chomping at the bit to get a full size. Smooth, creamy, sweet tea. Soothing and enveloping like a warm drink on an autumn day. I love it.

This was my wedding day fragrance! I wanted a mix of sweet and creamy with an antique or dusty undertone to it. This really fit the bill and is now my daily wear during the fall and winter

i looked for a london fog perfume for a really long time. i stumbled across a reddit post along the same lines and that’s how i found this brand. i am eternally grateful bc everything ive purchased have been so beautiful and worth every penny. although maybe a little expensive depending on EDT or EDP, i think its absolutely worth the quality. london fog is spot on for me. i’ve sampled a few perfumes who claimed the same profile but nothing comes as close as this. you don’t need a lot for it to last for hours. which is exactly what i was looking for. it’s not overly sweet or bitter. it sits on the skin for longer and doesn’t linger in the air. it’s absolutely gorgeous

TEA. If you want realistic tea, this is it. There is very present citrus, too. To me, it’s closer to a strong glass of Lipton iced tea with lemon than a London Fog. Which isn’t a bad thing! But I do wish I could pick up on the honey and vanilla to warm things up a bit. It verges on bitter, like tea steeped too long and bergamot grated well past the zest and into the pith. But I really do like it, it smells fresh and energizing. I might try to layer it with a honey scent to get where I’m tryna go.

This is such a good photorealistic London fog latte. The sample I got was very bergamot heavy and lacked some of the sweeter and creamier notes I was after. I invested in the full size with plans to layer it, but haven’t had the need. The full size bottle is much softer and creamier, and the sharpness is gone, probably because the applicator means you can use it more sparingly. Can’t wait for wet and windy autumn days so I can get some good wear out of this!

suuuuch a beautiful, realistic cup of Earl Grey. the tea note is SO pretty. unfortunately this made me break out in hives where I had applied it 😭 I really hope it’s not the tea bc I want their Lapsang accord soo badly now. GORGEOUS perfume, I wish I could wear it.

extremely photorealistic london fog. not "london fog if it was a perfume" not "london fog vibes" just 10000% brewed cup of london fog right before you take a sip. amazing!

Creamy, bergamot. it really did smell like a london fog latte. i bought a roll-on and sadly it just didn't last as long as i'd hoped for. still nice.

This smells exactly like opening a container of Earl Grey tea leaves. Very strong bergamot profile. This doesn't feel like "London Fog" for me though since I don't get the creamy or slightly sweet vibes I was hoping for. But if you're looking for a 'tea' scent, this is a good one for that. It also feels unisex (citrusy from the bergamot and no florals).

Too citrusy unfortunately, earl grey is just a touch of bergamot :( this is a huge dose. Try Twice to Tea by Poesie if you want hyper realistic earl grey tea/London fog!

This is the most photo realistic London fog perfume I have ever tried in my life (I’ve tried a lot) The longevity is crazy, I rolled this on my neck and wrists at 7am and at 4pm after my shift I can still smell it on my wrist!! I also have never gotten more compliments in my life on a perfume, everyone at my cafe job ate this up and had a co worker also go and buy it practically on the spot. It’s truly such an amazing scent I can’t even describe it other then quite literally a sweet London fog latte (hence the name of the perfume) the producer of this nailed the fragrance !!

A gorgeous dry, not too sweet earl grey tea scent. Bergamot is the star here, with pleasant herbal earthiness from the tea, and just a touch of milk and honey. Lovely.
