My fourth Foras sample, and they hit out of the park again! This is a really well blended scent. It opens up with a burst of citrus that lingers beautifully throughout. I often find that some perfumes with citrus come across like cleaning products, but that isn’t the case here. Everything in this fragrance fits the Foras brand. Elemental Musk smells natural and beautiful. They’re the perfumer that I wanted Penhaligon’s to be - an intriguing representation of nature in a wearable scent. Once the initial hit of citrus subsides, it rounds off into a slightly spicy, fresh yet warm perfume. I can’t say I pick up on the leather and suede in an overt way, but it’s there somewhere. It reminds me vaguely of Piccadilly 69 by Jack. Elemental Musk may not be my favourite of the Foras fragrances I’ve sampled so far, but I will absolutely wear it again. There’s a slightly masculine leaning, vintage quality to it that I enjoyed.
