Plumeria

Photo realistic solinote of plumeria, just her voice and no competing notes. I discovered these fragrances on a trip to Hawai’i and you can buy them through the ABC store online, which means I never have to run out of my new obsession. You can wear all of these Forever Florals perfumes as their own note, or combine them to create a lei of your own each day 🌺🤙 I also have Pikake and Heavenly Leilani, hope Fragrantica catches up with the rest of this line. Plumeria is the scientific name for Frangipani, there is no difference btw. And pikake is Arabian jasmine. Narcotic white flowers. 🤍 Performs beautifully in warm weather, as one would expect. I’ll be wearing this even in other seasons to bring back the magic of Hawai’i all year long. 🌞🌴🫶

A classic beauty. I feel in love in Hawaii with this perfume. The Gardenia by Forever Florals is also very nice. I find plumeria to be the perfect complement to warm island days in the sun and humid salty-breezed nights. It smells formal and also laid back. It's a deep happiness surrounded by elegance and freedom. Unforgettable tropical ocean days.

A friend brought me some of this back from Hawaii when she visited years ago. Plumeria is a wonderful, soft scent that I really adore. I will always love the scent of Plumeria and I know it is in a lot of other fragrances, but you cannot beat the pure scent.

Plumerias are my favourite flower. This smells so sweet and feminine, I always get compliments on it! It’s not overly complicated with tons of different notes, just the beautiful scent of plumeria!

I feel like any review of a scent by Forever Florals should just have a pic of the flower ... period. Every single scent by the brand is so spot on and true to what it is.

Simple but beautiful summery, beachy scent. Strongly reminiscent of suntan oil as well as my trip to Hawaii. I have the rollerball and a small swipe on my inner elbow is enough to last the entire day and be noticeable. Fantastic value for the money.

I can only mist a small amount on me. I'm not one for strong florals, but a friend bought this for me from Hawaii. It's quite sharp, no softness at all. I'm afraid it smells very chemical-y to me.

I love the Tiare Flower from Tahiti which looks a little like the Plumeria flower from Hawaii. I've performed in Hawaii many times and have enjoyed cruises that go to Hawaii and the island flower is always so inviting so beautiful and tropical. I thought this scent would magically and realistically recreate that floral scent. Of course for what it is it's not bad and it does smell a bit like plumeria but it's mostly frangipani as the listed note on Fragrantica says. Theyre 100 percent accurate. This is a fruity tropical frangipani. However with an unlisted "invisible" white floral note of gardenia this thing becomes very much like the plumeria which is a type of gardenia anyways. There is also a vanilla scent I pick up from this. It's really quite lovely. It comes in a body spray form so it's not really a perfume but it does have enough life to keep you enjoying the scent well over 5 hours or even 6-7 hours. It's pretty strong if you apply too much. It's soft and girly if you spritz with a light hand. It's also great as air freshner for your house and for your car. Love it.

Day four in Hawaii and we were finally blessed with sunny skies. I had made my Hawaiian perfume purchases.. Forever Florals, a Honolulu based company, had inexpensive island scents available in every corner grocery, and I had scooped up the Plumeria and the Pikake, two flowers I had been smelling in the air everywhere since I stepped off the plane. I sprayed myself down with the Plumeria one and hit the beach. It's such a light and feminine petal scent. The scent of the $5 lei I bought from a woman on the side of the highway, stringing the blossoms with her young daughter helping. And even though it's inexpensive, it does not smell cheap. It felt perfectly suited in a 5 star sushi restaurant for dinner on our final night of tropical vacation. Whenever I have worn this perfume since that trip, I immediately feel blissed out and taken right back to the beach, sipping fancy cocktails and napping on the sand, feeling aloha. An incredibly unique smell, reminder of the humid island air filled with so many of these blooms.

I live in Hawaii and I frequently pick up a fallen plumeria blossom and walk around sniffing it, just to brighten my day. The plumeria flower has a very distinctive, soapy floral scent. This Plumeria cologne/perfume by Forever Florals is an exact match to real plumeria. You will not find a more realistic plumeria scent than this IMO. Their Gardenia scent is also very, very good, while their Pikake (sambac jasmine) perfume is also a realistic & quality jasmine scent. There are quite a few brands of Hawaii souvenir perfumes available when you come to the islands to visit, but these Forever Florals fragrances are the only ones that truly smell like the flower they're based on. The rest, though some are pleasant scents, don't really smell authentic to the specific flowers they purport to smell like.

This plumeria smells like the best suntan lotion from my childhood, and has such a feminine, delicate beauty. It is straight up plumeria, uncut, a pretty single note floral. The longevity is very good for such an inexpensive fragrance. I apply around 7:30 am and can still smell it on my wrists around 4:30 pm. It’s more subtle at that point, but I don’t need to reapply during my work day at all. This is so reminiscent of the trips we have taken to Hawaii. What a great find!

I have a co worker who always wears the lotion version of this. It smells amazing on her! I can’t believe how strong is projects off her for being a lotion. I have purchased the lotion, roller ball and spray because of her and j love them all. I’ve gotten a few compliments while wearing this. It smells absolutely gorgeous! Something special for being so inexpensive

I just want to thank you All for steering me in this direction! This perfume roll on is as good as it gets. I combined it with the gardenia and my husband said something smells good. I can’t get the original Chantecaille Frangipane but this is pretty darn close.

"Frangipani" is another name for "Plumeria".
