Nemus

A soft amber woody aromatic fragrance that reminds me of some perfumes but never to the point of being a replica. I like to smell the trail of it instead from the skin, it is insanely beautiful when smelled in the air. Very hard to describe what I am smelling; the fragrance is well-blended. The smell of warm comfortable evening: everything – spices, woods, greens (at some point I smelled fig leaf) – are soft.

Nemus opens very sweet, with ambered, sugary lemon and some kind of nectarous floral note. I can feel dry herbs underneath but mostly i'm getting a blast of sunny yellow sweetness. A few minutes in, I also get something zingy like candied ginger. This is supposed to be a "green" perfume but it's intensely yellow to me -- candy-sweet, floral, slightly creamy yellow citrus. A little like the "lemon drop" note in D. S. & Durga Brown Flowers, or the citrus-floral-vanilla effect in Gallivant Brooklyn. Sometimes it feels a little humid or has a touch of caramelized warmth. It's quite pretty and has a fair amount of nuance for what it is, which is fundamentally *sweet lemon*, all the way through.

Lovely light citrus aromatic scent that has an easy playful air to it in spite of several dense notes. The scent opens with citrusy aromatic notes of lemon, tea, ginger and bergamot. As it starts developing we get sage, geranium, cypriol and cedar. Upon complete drydown one notices a faint powdery amber patchouli mix. The unisex well blended mainly natural smelling scent has moderate sillage and longevity and it’s fleeting nature is pretty much my only complaint with it. Definitely easy reach, office friendly and easily likeable. Enjoy!
