very nice, a rich opulent sent. The first blast is all about peach or apricot, very fruity, but not for the faint of heart. It reminds me of No Regrets by de Markoff. After about 30min. it becomes much softer, the fruits set back and let the amber take center stage. This a very smooth and lucious scent with amber and fruits and flowers peeking in and out the whole time. It seems creamy and smooth during the dry down as well. So pretty and a little sexy too. It lasts about 4 or 5 hours which is pretty good. The price? that's the best part, it is very affordable. Even though a warm scent I think because it is so smooth it could work for summer and early fall.

When I was a kid I had a little wooden box that once held peach tea that I kept little odds and ends in. The woody preachiness here brings that box to mind — an unexpected nostalgia trip. Personal associations aside, this is a ripe but not overly sweet peach, more skin than flesh, bolstered by sandalwood and blurred out by airy florals. The brightness of the opening slowly melts into delicious, soft amber that lingers close to the skin. Lovely, youthful, feminine, and just a bit earthy.

I used to wear this when I was a little girl. I bought a bottle, with my allowance, from a discount store for only $ 1.00. I adored this perfume. I remember it being long-lasting and bursting with fruit and floral essence. It had an air freshener vibe--but in a good way. This was a power house that enveloped my young nose, with 'feel-good' feelings. This fragrance definitely helped catapult my love for fragrances. I would love to have this in my collection again. I'm afraid that it has been discontinued, I can't find it anywhere. Arielle was the best!

From some of the reviews I'm not sure if people have gotten bad bottles or what, but I think this is one of Fragonard's better vintage fragrances. I remember school friends having the bottle with the blue cap and bought one, and what I get is peach pie or spiced peach tea. I don't think it smells like Amarige - this is older and closer to 1970s Avon, Revlon, etc, and I find it perfect for September or early October. It is strong and rich, so spray from far away or dab on lightly.

The state of Georgia in July. Arielle smells like peaches in the hot sun, when the fruit stands are full and ripe and steamy and the day lilies are blooming in full force. Amber and sandalwood dry up the sweetness after an hour, making it almost civet-sour-soapy, that Atlanta highway air freshener and funky sweat that sticks to skin and clothes, until it slowly eases back to evening breeze and sweet peach tea. I kinda like it.
