Belle de Nuit Eau de Parfum

Beyond my expectation ! I love it ! At first trial, i thought i got wrong bottle. Too much powdery, very artifical scent. But who knows ? 3 days later i tried again before selling it, and i found i should keep it. It feels like i'm taking a rest under the light in hotel room. Very cozy, aromatic mood. Soapy floral scent helps relaxing before going to bed. Honestly i had some kinda prejudice that powdery scent does not suit me, but i'm glad i found my fragrance at last ! My cup of tea.

Belle De Nuit is playful and cheerful. It smells very expensive and chic. It is clean, fresh and feminine. Great for summer and all occasions. It makes people want to get close to you and smell the air around you. I will buy another bottle before Christmas. It's very french and it lingers. I love it.

Belle de Nuit (Beauty of Night) stands as a clean solar fragrance, bright and lighthearted with a fresh airiness about it despite the hint of musk and powder, underlying a darker visage than this quiet beauty implies. It gently bursts with citrus and nondistinctive, elusive flowers, assumingly heliotrope and possibly lily, merging into a sweet foray of the tiniest memory of almond blossom or marzipan, recalling fragments of childhood summers rather than intimate evenings while retaining an air of luxurious detachment. The sophisticated feminine and leaning androgynous fragrance dries down instantly and emerges into a soft, powdery, and largely one-note whiff before the musk deepens, transient in its longevity and hugging close to the skin - if only she remained as a loyal accompaniment throughout the night. Much too faint in terms of preferences for a more robust and lasting scent, its soapy champagne dissipates within hours, if reaching this point at all. However, it is a suitable daily perfume, easy to wear for numerous occasions, and one which would most accompany the spring and summer months and could be worn day or night interchangeably. Others mention it is strong and even overpowering but maybe this is the case if inexperienced with more intense perfumes or if prone to headache-induced sweetness, as to my nose it is very subdued yet she could rise to the head if generously sprayed as she holds herself aloft, gently following in your wake with an aristocratic, unrushed meandering. This faint and mysterious fragrance is graced by the House's signature stunningly elegant bottle design topped with an almost shell-like golden cap. Sharing the more personal, I prefer to turn it around without the name displayed as the minimalist side is more ideal to my decor preference and I would remove the name altogether for a beautiful antique appearing glass. This perfume, while it does not impress much and lacks considerably in silage and due to quite a fleeting aroma, remains in a special place in my heart as it is the first perfume I purchased for myself while coincidently happening to tour the Fragonard house in Paris during my first trip to France for my historic studies and in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Normandy. Quite an unforgettable memory tied to this perfume that opened the door to my passion and intrigue into perfumery and so I cherish her irrespective of expectations and she often surprises me with her pleasant, whispered joy. Altogether, Belle de Nuit shines in her subtle nature and unassuming grace. The most surprising is its namesake, rather suiting the day in lieu of the moonlight. The stunning grecoroman amphora vase domed with gold holds a little temple of bouqueted sunlight, denoting Apollon rather than his sister moon

Smelled a bit too pensioner like for my taste. Very cloying perfume. Not a fan sadly.

A dupe for j'adore Dior, not a cheap one... I can't get the amber, but flowers all the way...
