Bleu Riviera

I visited the fragonard museum myself in Paris and purchased this there. 48€ for a 200ml bottle which is an amazing price for a brand new cologne as of 2024. It smells wonderful with a fresh opening of citrus and freshness with a masculine and crowd pleasing drydown into woods and florals. I would 1000% recommend this to anyone in search of a year-round fragrance or just a fresh day and warm fragrance.

When I first smelled it I just fell in love. I immediately knew I needed this so I both 200 mL bottle + 600 mL refill. Now that I think of it I probably over did it but I don't regret it. For me it's so refreshing and masculine. I would definitely recommend it.

Bleu Riviera is an absolute classic; a very fresh citrus fragrance (mandarin, bergamot) with a subtle woody touch that will appeal to men with simple and laid-back tastes. Its freshness evokes summer and seaside vibes while remaining elegant; a great value for the price!

I wore a sample of it this morning for a walk. And quite enjoyed both. Easy and refreshing, even for a woman. Elegant and understated. Something I could easily buy as a gift when in absence of better idea. Lovely, universal.

I am a woman, but I got to test this because I got a sample in the mail. This is a very nice masculine fragrance. Feels refreshing and cool. No heaviness, gives a chill vibe.

How does it officially share only bergamot and patchouli with Bleu De Chanel but smell so similar? Bleu Riviera is amazing and stands out by being more natural. I want it.

First phases a la CK One and Lanvin Homme’s lotion like floral violet DNA (without metallic aspects) ornamented with Lanvin Homme Sport’s lavender-sage aromatics - resulting in a pleasant and safe perfume. It does resemble a shower gel scent sensation, which I like. No obnoxious use of woody ambers here, another plus point, knowing it comes from Jordi Fernandez who likes to often abuse harsh woods. But I think at least some amount is there for structure especially in dry down. Sage also makes it to the drydown and becomes musky. Finishes by vetiver - patchouli - coumarin and aforementioned touches of amber woods. Quite a nostalgic scent at the beginning, flashing 90s and 00s and then switches to amber sage-musky profile. This late stage on skin reminds me of Ajmal Amber Wood or Arabian Oud - Signature.
