Diamant Parfum

I think these ones was the first niche perfumes in my collection. These creations in the nice aluminium bottles are parfums. I was visiting their perfume store in Èze, France (beautiful village btw) and I was testing all perfumes which they was producing as parfum concentrate. I had never got that kind of olfactive experience before. Diamant was definitely my favorite and that was for long time my signature perfume. Those juices are really good quality, strong, thick stuff with eternal longevity. Parfums comes in three sizes (60, 30 and 15ml) and you can go a long way with these bottles! This house is so underrated but it used to be as well a little bit difficult to find and it’s not so known perfume house. But once you try those you will notice what I mean (quality). Diamant is a floral fruity fragrance and there are pepper, caramel, Patchouli, vanilla, Jasmine, Rose, fruits (orange in the opening, plum in the middle) in musky base but it’s so well blended that it’s almost impossible to say what is there. And there is a little bit sweetness but it’s not sweet like typical sweet perfumes. This is really overwhelming experience and I don’t remember how many people has been sniffing my neck and wanted the same. 😅 Even if it’s “floral fruity” the scent itself is really mysterious and definitely from another world than typical floral fruity blends. Belle De Nuit is floral fruity fragrance as well and an olfactive experience is matching with that definition. That is for women who really like floral notes. For me this is challenging to wear and I don’t reach that bottle so often but definitely this is same amazing Fragonard quality. Surprisingly these parfums are really affordable, I would say cheap even if the juice itself is luxurious. Thank you for reading, I hope my review was helpful. Such a beautiful fragrance- it is my all-time favourite as well as my signature scent. Whenever I smell Diamant I'm taken back to my utmost cherished and intimate moments with my dearest first love. I wore this perfume most of our days together because I adored the spicy yet musky gourmand notes and wanted to be known by this powerful combination by leaving my scent all over him. Our time together was short but the memories remain fossilized within this scent- both for myself and him. Now my favourite time to wear this perfume is winter evenings because I get an endless olfactory experience when cozying up indoors. I can genuinely never get enough of this perfume. I become so self-obsessed whenever wearing it and the feeling is completely euphoric. In another life, I can imagine myself wearing this perfume while dancing the waltz on a ballroom floor. My partner and I are surrounded by a dozen couples, but our gaze remains devoted to each other, my hand in his. Our dedication to our craft is shown clearly in how swiftly we move together as we circle the dance floor. And as the routine comes to an end, we display our admiration for each other and our talents by exchanging wide, uncontrollable smiles- our chemistry is invigorating. Leaving the dance floor together is the greatest honour. There is no competition, yet we are victors.

I love this perfume (I have the gold parfum bottle) because it smells like the mall! Every time I wear it, it’s like I’ve walked into the fragrance department and that rush of fragrances all mixed together hits me. It’s a super musky caramel-vanilla with a syrupy fruity quality of stewed orchard fruits and candied oranges that is so delicious. Yet this perfume also smells classy and sophisticated and surprisingly grown-up. Ultra femme, this perfume. Andie McDowell in Four Weddings and a Funeral when she wears that enormous black hat. Projects well—I get big wafts for hours after I first spray. The parfum smells identical to the edt but more concentrated and long-lasting, as you would expect with parfum concentration. Nothing like Coco Mlle! This is much more gourmand with the caramel and stewed, syrupy plum. The spice/pepper and patchouli that are standout features of Coco Mlle are negligible here.

This is a gorgeous fragrance. I originally tried this as the edp as part of the fragonard sample set and fell in love. I wore it in summer, and the scent just shines in the heat. Whilst it is an all year round scent, there is something special about the way this smells with your skin in the warm air. Soft, sweet, delicate, comforting are how I describe this. I can’t pick any particular notes besides the citrus in the opening but this perfume would be a perfect signature scent. This is the type of perfume that is associated with flashbacks of warm romantic or happy memories from the past. It is understated but beautiful - love it. I’m an oversprayer but just 5 sprays of this is enough and I have a beautiful scent bubble which gives me bursts of scent the entire day.

During my first trip to Provence, 2008, first holiday with my boyfriend, we visited Grasse and I fell in love with Diamant. I've been wearing it on and off since then, but I bought the first bottle in person, not online. So I was wondering if, either the description is wrong or my memory is wrong: Why does it say "launched in 2016"? The same thing happened with Dior Addict (I'm convinced I started wearing in 2006-2007 approximately, but on Fragrantica's website it's recorded as launched many years later). Why is that? I spray only in the morning and still in the afternoon, I get compliments and asked what I was wearing. I can wear it in winter, but with spring/summer temperature (northern Italy) it's delicious.
