Eau de Bonheur

Another beautiful discovery at Fragonard! This is not my usual type of fragrance, but I liked it straight away! It smells very fresh and minty, light and aromatic! It stays close to the skin and lasted on my skin for about 3 hours, probably because of base notes. It's feminine and clean, very similar to something from L'Occitane, maybe Thè Vert à la Menthe. Beautiful summery scent and lovely bottle!

A summer favourite! It's so beautiful in its simplicity, soft cosy citruses, one of the few fragrances one can wear in 35+ heat. Refreshing, calming. I love it. You get 200ml bottle - it's huge! - for a low price - I just make myself a decant and spray few times during the day. It's actually very pleasant to re-apply.

Eau de Bonheur starts off quite green with bergamot leading the way. In the heart of the scent, the holly gives the jasmine and top notes a bit of an evergreen feel. Sandalwood and cedar keeps everything from being too sweet or light. This is a very refreshing green floral that would be excellent for hot summer days.

Very natural smelling green with a crisp citrusy top. Beautiful, cheerful and refreshing. My only problem is that the base is perhaps a bit too masculine for me, probably due to the cedarwood note. Stays fresh all the way.

Deliciously fresh, delicately spicy, a must try for summer!

Very fruity, starts off mandarine and clementine, very fruit juice or fruit syrup way. Sharp and for me really too fruity to wear - I think maybe it will fit somebody in their late 10s or early 20s? But there is a bit of room perfume vibe by the following floral and woody notes. Overall a bit generic and harsh.

First Fragonard that I’m not a fan of. Very screechy to me. I can see why it’s regarded as unisex - the notes are pretty open to either gender being able to wear (not that smells are gendered). But I don’t know, it seemed a little sharp to me - and not in a good way.

Sweet citrus fruits with fresh undertones. Leaning female but also unisex. After dry down, I get green grassiness up close. Probably best to smell slightly from a distance.

The top note it a lovely bright green citrus, but it fades way too quickly on me and settles into kind of an assertive jasmine, which isn't my favorite. Overall it surprised me how floral it was, despite reviews I read. (but also it could just be me- my skin likes jasmine more than my nose likes jasmine). I certainly wouldn't call it unisex. Base notes are earthy without being heavy or masculine. Overall a nice, fresh summer smell, just not my favorite.

Need to mention that this is officially a unisex fragrance as per Fragonard product description. NOW - this is Happy - Calm - Sunday moments scent. The original blast is full of fizzzz - not at all focused on citrus notes for a change - more aromatic probably due to the basil bergamot and mandarin. For the long run - the Jasmin stands out - faceted with magnolia and mate leaves - to my nose this is flowery fresh - a tad of metallic water. It goes to sleep with very discreet oriental touches - vanilla sandalwood cedar. This is an interesting concoction - a positive good mood scent neither hysterical or boring. Flowery aromatic freshness if that make sense!! A soothing little number.

Citric, floral, woody, herbal. Extremely fresh. A little too much cedar for my taste... Completely unisex. The sweetness keeps it from being down right masculine. I suspect it would only work for summer time, as it is very cooling , clean and fresh. The bottle is just gorgeous, the shape, the color of the juice. It is an edt, but the bottle is so huge, 200ml, that being on the light side doesn't bother. The lasting power however isn't bad. I wanted it because of the name, I just assumed it would make me happy. So I got it in a swap. I like it but it isn't very "me" though, as I prefer warmer scent. Will see if this turns to love or to the swap list.

Once settles through the first few minutes of sparkling bergamot/mandarine (and even basil and grapefruit) notes, Eau de Bonheur feels like a citrusy green tea vapor. Mellow, fresh and distinctly green tea notes mixed into green citruses. A classic and timeless unisex profile, reminding me of clean hotel rooms/products in a summer town. For a fuller experience I would go for DKNY Women though, because this is an eau de cologne at best and better for ocassions you don’t need to smell much. Very good and familiar nevertheless.
