Étoile Parfum

There is a freshness in Etoile that reads as sophistication to me. The citrus and apple edged with a hint of ginger opening instantly lifts my mood and makes me happy. Dried down, the realistic florals peek through like dancing in a meadow on a sunny, breezy day. Etoile is well suited for warmer weather, but I wear my perfumes year-round despite their category to fit my mood. I wore this to watch a movie in the middle of November. Bundled up in my sweater and warm layers, I caught more of the amber and musk base notes, and the fineness of the whole composition reminded me of a wealthy woman, the kind of lady who jetsetted to Grasse just so she could bottle her experience there and take it wherever she went. It's clean and soapy, which I personally love. Think Bridgerton Season 2, when Anthony was absolutely intoxicated by the scent of the lily soap that lingered on Kate's skin after her baths. Etoile is *that* kind of sexy. Perfect for anytime and anywhere, unlikely to offend anyone. Understated natural beauty and glamour.

My intro to perfume, and I have loved it ever since. It smells like expensive hotel lobby and freshly shampooed hair drying in the sun. Trees on a summer night. The perfume is worth it over the eau de perfume imo it leans a lot more into the citrus notes that I love. It's brighter compared to the EdP, which is a little more vintage and floral. Best perfume in terms of $/ml/quality I have ever owned. I will wear this forever and ever.

A work of art. I got so many compliments wearing it. It's bright, sunny, youthful. Inviting, elegant, understated. It smells like a sophisticated young woman who doesn't need to do much for everyone to like her. She's just there being herself and you can't help being drawn to her.

obsessed with this scent. i wore the summer i graduated high school and a couple of springs and summers of undergrad. this lasted forever on me and the bright citrus scent kept me alive in the sun. i would layer this with verveine for even longer staying power.

A delightful spritz of freshness guaranteed to lift the mood. Beautiful combo of notes - the apple, tiniest hint of ginger, and Lily of the valley really elevate the citrus. The base notes are not very apparent but still contribute to an overall lovely fragrance. Unfortunately even though it is a parfum it disappeared to a skin scent within an hour.

Beautiful beautiful green scent, when you want to have something fresh on. Quite youthful, but not childish.What I liked about this perfume, that it did not become completely different after the drydown.
