Grenade Pivoine

Absolutely love this perfume! Bought it at the beginning of July, been wearing it since. Lots of compliments, from the young and the elderly, even from the opposite sex! Gorgeous piony & rose with a fresh bergamot beginning. The pear and the pomegranate add a certain zest and thank God there is no oud/patchouli nor heavy musks in the base. Mind you, I am not a Delina lover (!) but an ardent rose and piony lover and this is absolutely _not_ any kind of Delina dupe (edt/edp/larosee). Longevity, especially on clothes is great, projection - even in full summer - more than an arm's length. Fragonard is such an underrated house, I'm so glad Fragrantica wrote about the Garden series and remembers to present their annual soliflores. Personally, I rank this higher than my rose and piony fumes from Aqua di Parma and have already ordered a back up. A most wonderful find!

This JUST arrived in the mail this afternoon. I LOVE it. What a perfect blind buy! When I first opened it I sprayed a spray on the top of each hand. Immediately smelled Chloe with less rose and no soap. Since Chloe is one of my two three perfumes, I am thrilled with this one. The strong peony is what stands out to my nose and it also stays all the way through dry down, which is still going on from my two sprays. So far, it has lasted for the last 4 hours at full strength. The drydown on this one keeps the peony just as vibrant through the duration. The projection is great and my daughter smelled it when I passed her by, and loved it too. She normally smells nothing or at least does not comment. The longevity is just great. I am going to check out other scents from fragonard.

A very pretty, slightly less sharp version of Chloe EDP. I like the burst of fresh, tart pomegranate at the opening and the slight sweetness of the pear in the background, surrounded by sharp, wet florals of rose and peony as they would smell after rain or in the morning dew. The longevity of this perfume is great, in my experience better than Chloe, so it's perfect to wear on hot humid days when most perfumes seem to disappear from the skin. The soapy fresh undertones also give it a nice clean vibe that's a compliment getter for me. Overall it's a very wearable, pleasant perfume that's especially great for anyone who loves peony.

Pomegranate rind and fresh laundry. A bright interlude that can interrupt the rhythm of grind and rush present in your work day. Reminding you of the carefree moments summers are known for, the petals you smell, the gardens you happened upon while walking around alone in your neighborhood when the air was neither too hot nor cold, or too balmy. Smells like a breeze.

Bought the 30 mL parfum bottle when I was at the Fragonard store in Paris last summer, and it was love at first sight!!! This is my all-time favorite perfume, it's floral, fruity, fresh and sophisticated, sweet but not too sweet that it overwhelms me. It lasts several hours on my skin and even longer in my hair and clothing. Such an underrated perfume!!

Agreed with most of the comments saying that this smells like Chloé. It’s mainly rosy-sweet yet fresh; the fruity note is very subtle and only adds to the sweetness and freshness. It’s easy to wear and safe for a blind buy. When applied to clothes, it can last for days.

This is a rose fruity scent, delicate, sweet yet still fresh. A happy bright fragrance you can basically use 24/7 during all seasons. It's one of my favorites fragrance of all time. Downside is It's not super long lasting.

Get the extrait version in the Aluminium bottle. It is a masterpiece, clean, fresh, fruity, floral... It has a playful elegance, a sparkly depth, and a feminine blossoming vibe...

i love love love her! shes so fruity and sweet, perfect for honestly any weather. a good basic scent, fresh crispy and the pomegranate + pear notes are amazing

I bought the 60 ml Grenade Pivoine parfum the the aluminum on sale for $67.50. I'm unsure if US customers are aware they can get most Fragonard fragrances from the US website. 🤔. This one is by far my FAVORITE after Violette (which I wish Fragonard would make in the aluminum). Remember ladies, stir a parfume, EDT like a wine glass never shake. On my skin, it's non offense to my son w/ his heart transplant who suffers horrifically from breathing issues fed through a G tube, so I can't imagine it triggering allergies in someone w/ asthma as long as you don't over spray. If my son didn't have breathing problems, I think I would put 10 sprays of this for projection. I love it THAT MUCH. It's soapy, fruity floral blast with a soothing woody dry down. Pure comfort. I love Fragonard. 😍

It's rather difficult to produce original juices in today's over-saturated perfume market, one note or combination of notes reminds us of this and that. It's inevitable. Fragonard excelles in taking what is familiar to the next level. This one is somewhat similar to Chloe. But, ingredients are of better quality and the composition is more gracious, it feels more natural. Great number of their perfumes are like that, they just do them better and way cheaper. They also have some of them in perfume concentration. And even those are very accessible. More I explore them, more enchanted I feel. Fabulous house.

This would be a great alternative for those who love CHLOE. It is almost a blatant copy of it, maybe a bit stronger and of very high quality (Fragonard offers excellent fragrances!) It's a soapy, laundromat-kind of rose. I don't get any pomegranate at all... so that's a disappointment. Very good projection and lasting power.

A winner, my girls loved this one. I got the parfum version. Fruity, flowery, sweet and happy. It makes me think of velvety hot pink lipstick on a summer’s day.

Pretty fruity floral. Not too sweet with slight freshness in the background. Very feminine scent. Lovely.

Smells like the very expensive Parfums de Marly Delina minus de jammy rose ! Beautiful accord.

I worship fruity and sweet perfumes, but I wanted to try something lighter for the summer. I attest that this perfume is beautifully fresh when you spray it at first. It has a great sillage and the fragrance can linger for quite a few days if you spray it in a small room, leaving maybe a more powerdy scent. I am however a bit disappointed as I really couldn't smell the pomegranate and pear notes, which I was the most excited about. I find that the peonies and roses take all the place. I'd say that this is a great EDP for people who affectionate rose and florals in general. Grenade pivoine might not be the one for me, but I understand why people would love it so much, like any other Fragonard perfume, it offers a really unique perfume for a reasonable price.

Grenade Pivoine is a fresh, invigorating, perky fragrance of a carefree summer day. The peony here is very bright, ringing, blossomed in all its glory, and still wet from the morning dew. I cannot hear pomegranate and other fruits as such, but the sharp sourness with a slight bitterness in the aroma is just lovely, it adds even more fresh crunchiness to the aroma. Grenade Pivoine is very light, it is like a lightweight tender peony-pink haze. With all my lightness and freshness, I feel it on my skin all day long, two or three hours after application, it becomes very delicate, close-skinned, but still well audible to me. Anyone who loves perfumes with a dominant peony, I think, will appreciate this summer "wet" floral scent.

It wasn’t an instant love for me but in time it felt warm and lovely. For whom haven’t smelled before i would describe Grenade Pivoine as a baby of Chloe Chloe Edp and English Pear & Fressia Jo Malone. Beautiful pink roses, juicy pears and princess peonies🌹🌱🍐🌸

Very fruity rose, filled with pomegranate juice and pink peonies aroma. Pretty, unpretentious, definitely good for all who collect rose 🌹fragrances.
