Juste un Baiser (2024)

This was my signature scent in high school and thru college. I have never tried the glass bottle EDT and I was using the metal bottle EDP at this time back in 2011-2015. I Purchased it in Grasse when I went to the Fragonard factory with some other students. It's juicy and sweet, almost gives an elevated Victoria Secret perfume experience. Wasn't too gourmand or floral which I enjoyed. I don't remember specific notes aside from fruit, woods, light spice, and vanilla. Based on some of the reviews here it sounds like they don't have the og edp formula, which is too bad ... May try the EDT and come back once reviewed but I would much prefer the perfume for obvious reasons

I genuinely adore this perfume. I learned about Fragonard during my visit to Grasse. This was the first perfume I fell in love with at their store and I’ve been head over heels for months now. I don’t know why but I get a hint of a super sugary & delectable ripe mango with vanilla and sandalwood. I didn’t get the old version nor do I know how it smells like but this is just a masterpiece. I don’t want to run out so my next trip to Paris, I’m getting my hands on another 120ml EDP bottle!!

This is a little beast. Considering it's an edt the projection is crazy. Fragonard is surprisingly good at blending ingredients and every perfume is divine. This one is a spicy floral vanilla. It's very good. Very good. I'm crazy in love with Fragonard at this point.

My most complimented perfume. Smells like heaven on me... Warm and soft at the same time, the perfect balance between the light sugary fruits, warm vanilla and heavy patchouli. Great fragrance

Warm vanilla and sandalwood which gives a sensual aspect to the whole. A little fruity and floral side finishes it all off (but on my skin, the vanilla and woody aspect takes over the rest so much that I would be unable to describe it). There is a slight almond note, quite subtle, which sets in after a few minutes. For me and my little nose, we are mainly on a very enveloping woody/vanilla scent. Honestly very pleasant for me who really likes these notes in perfumery. Another little one from Fragonard that really tempts me and the projection looks good on this one (as far as we can judge with a wet wipe).

I preferred the other version of Just un Baiser—it was my signature scent as a teen. But this one is good too. They are nothing alike, and honestly I was hoping they'd be a bit more similar, like a new take on that scent. Warm vanilla, slighly spicy, slightly fruity. If you like La Belle by Jean Paul Gaultier, this one gives off similar vibes, though it's less ozonic and a bit softer. The two are more alike in the dry down.

This is a underrated little gem. One of those pefume houses you want to gatekeep. Every note is detectable in this. The cherry blossom, almond and sandalwood being the stars of the show. The apple blossom keep it crisp. Its also a little beast . Longevity is solid at 5 hours on me .

I'm devastated because I LOVED it when I tested it and bought the 200ml bottle. When I started to actually wear it on my skin for a day it dried down to a vanilla with a hint of puke on me. Hope it changes once it sits for a couple of months.

The notes listed here are not quite the same as the notes listed on the Fragonard website. I like it. I bought it in Eze.

Juste un Baiser by Fragonard—or, in more down to earth terms: just a shrug. I ran, this is textbook designer-lite, mass-market pleasantness with all the edges sanded off and wrapped in musk. The blur of pink top notes feel more like a wood-floral-candy disarray, maybe a modicum more sophisticated than what your average cheapie brand manages to conjure. Fruits? Synthetic, fleeting. Could be a body spray. I think what I mean is that these notes feel like they only exist because they're contractually obligated to be. Ingredients? More like flavouring. The heart tries to thicken with rose petal-scattered sandalwood and a heliotrope-reminiscent almond note, but this one-dimensionally sweet sort of almond resembles more starbucks frosting, or drugstore "vanilla" hand lotion depending your body temperature. Sandalwood, here, wears beige, but the almost obnoxious type of beige. Like a sad beige mom with a superiority complex, a grating voice and dense stubbornness. Dress her up in mass market designer and some rose lipstick? Voila. It does have a vaguely vintage feel due to the patchouli and hence chypre character. But not the chic and earthy kind I yearn for... this is mall-patchouli. Thrown-in patchouli. Used more for its appearance than its soul. It’s sweet, it’s floral, it’s mildly powdery, creamy, sweet, woody... everything, really. It doesn’t offend, but it doesn’t impress. The kind of thing you’d choose to spray at an airport duty-free (you'd have to be in a rush tbh), think “hmm,” then forget you ever tried it by landing. A budget crowd-pleaser that’s so afraid of being disliked, it never really tries to be loved. Am I being a hypocrite? Well... I'll give Juste un Baiser the faintest of nods.

Overwhelmed with happiness that this fragrance is back, I immediately order it (it's good that it's only 200 ml) and what do I get? Nothing in common with the original, bought in Grasse 15 years ago, it's a completely different fragrance. The official website even lists it in the classics section, but this is not it! I am genuinely discouraged by this move. It opens warmly on the skin but for me it's suffocating, still, I was expecting a delicate sweet berry version reminiscent of summer and the lightness of youth, not a perfume that's more suited for a woman 50+ for daily use - and that's not a bad thing at all! The perfumers shouldn't have played with names, a new fragrance should have its own. Of all the things I've sniffed and searched through, the Miami Muse fragrance from &OtherStories was the most similar to the original version for me

This smells like a nice lady perfume. Like what you would get as a gift if you have no idea what does the lady in question like. Smells nice - fruity, floral, not crazy sugary sweet. Dries down to a soft almondy vanilla. No wood or spice in it for me. Smells like I imagine the main character in a Nexflix romcom smells like - like an abstract nice girl. I have a 4ml sample of it and surprisingly reachign out for it more and more now in winter - i jsut want to smell nice, soft and juicy.

È arrivato proprio ora a mia sorpesa il campioncino per posta, ma la grande sorpresa è stata questa fragranza, non avevo mai provato questa linea e questo profumo è meraviglioso! Ora lo testerò direttamente sulla mia pelle (l'ho solo sentito sulla salvietta) ma devo dire che mi è piaciuto al primo impatto, mi ricorda vagamente hipnotic poison (di cui non sono grande fan) ma più morbido, seppur credo sia un profumo autunno /inverno ora lo proverò per sentirne l'evoluzione su di me .. Comunque le prime note che mi arrivano sono vaniglia, rosa e qualcosa di agrumato, per cui immagino il Bergamotto, la fragranza mi sembra bella intensa nonostante sia un eau de toilette, ora testerò la sua durata sulla pelle. Vi aggiornerò!

The “main accords” breakdown of this is not at all what I expected. I don’t get woody spicy or patchouli at all. The best way I can describe this is ... the most luxurious, high quality, grown up cotton candy. It has a very “pink” aura but is not immature at all. It’s so sexy it’s unreal. Gives Barbie vibes, but if Barbie had the glow up of the century. It is a little strong though so spray with caution. Also, this will stay in your hair and clothes even after you shower

My parents gifted me the Parfum version when they travelled to Grasse a few weeks ago. I love this stuff! To me this smells quite unisex
