Mon Lys

This is one of my favorite Lily scents. Fl is tropical. Powdery scents, amber, heavy notes etc.. they don't do well for me in particular with a high humidity index. It reaches 100+ F throughout the summer. This is light, airy, the aroma is pure femininity. I could see how people who live in a colder climate would be disappointed with this scent. Fragonard is easily one of my favorite Niche brands & unappreciated in the USA. I wish they sold the 600 ML refills to US customers. I love the natural scented quality they put in this scent. I have a back up bottle & plan to purchase more. I was fortunate enough to purchase the purse size set that came with the matching lotion so I can refill it. It's 100% safe for a professional environment, it's difficult for me to find a perfume which won't trigger my son's lungs as he had a heart transplant w/ pulmonary issues, this does nothing to his spo2's. I highly recommend this one if it's hot, HUMID or tropical weather. It's perfect the way it is. I would recommend getting the lotion which matches this scent or moisturize skin to retain this beautiful frag. This scent should never be discontinued. The top notes don't last too long & that's fine. Saffron is extremely expensive & I know the top notes = 50% of those oils COMBINED I imagine there's a few drops per bottle once alcohol is added. You'll get mostly lily, neroli and a touch of musk (from my experience). I love this scent more than Christian Dior's Prive 'Lucky' but that's due to the powdery scent. Fragonard ships to the USA and look for those 20% off codes. I've collected almost all Fragonard's scents. 💗🌴

Oooooo gorgeous! I seriously thought I wasn't interested in florals anymore, and then fragonard sent me my sample of this with another purchase. Looking at the top notes I was not expecting something so delicate and fresh. It is exactly what I love about florals. Over the years too many pungent ones I've tested have me headaches. But this is refreshing and just beautiful. It actually makes me smile to spray it on and cheers up my mornings. I don't have any others like this on my collection, my only other lily the serge lutens un lys, which is lovely but very different. This one I find much easier to wear and I hope fragonard has it always. I'd love a matching lotion!

a real, authentic, green lily. awesome. dreary but not too much. bright but not too much. a middle ground between light and dark. excellent performance. there is no sweetness in this perfume it is green. the lily in its essence. the other notes did not appear at all. for me better than Mediterranean lys of malle where a note of sea water is added to the little lily. we could do a layering by adding any marine. then the malle have an absurd price for me. 9.5 / 10

A subtle yet powerful lily solinote. So white, so fresh, so elegant. It's not overly sweet and dries down beautifully on my skin with great projection.

The best one I like, but I hope it is not long lasting

Mon Lys really reminds me of Donna Karen Gold. It is a touch brighter than that one and less warm spicy but a good dupe. A pretty lily solifore. Easy to wear, would be perfect for Easter. If you like lily perfume this is a good one. A brighter, a tad fresher version of Donna Karen Gold.

This is a dry, lightly spicy fragrance. The lily is a little green here. Almost as if the lily is just starting to bud out as opposed to full bloom. Dries down lightly musky on me. Honestly, this feels incomplete to me. I wish it had a little bit of something else, maybe vanilla, or amber, or tonka - something to round it out and add a little creaminess. The only thing that saves this from being a complete flop for me is the neroli, though I wish that note was a little stronger. I am not picking up the ylang or cedar at all, so if you have issues with those notes, that shouldn't bother you here. The saffron is so light it's barely detectable, and the pepper disappears right after opening. It would have been nice if that note stuck around a while to add a little more interest. You can spray this with abandon because silage is light, though the longevity is better than that. I got about 5 hours out of it before it became a skin scent. Overall, this is an okay for me, but if you are expecting something on the line of Mathilde Laurent's Baiser Vole masterpiece, don't. This is about as far from that as you can get. I'll reserve this for summer wear. Hopefully, it will bloom then. I also think, because it is so light, it might work well for layering. We will see.

I really didn't appreciate this fragrance when I first purchased it blind from Fragonard along with Mon Oranger in the Fall of '21. It really was the wrong time of year to try either fragrance. This fragrance needs heat and high humidity to really bloom on the skin. Unlike other lily fragrances that either disappear, becomes too vanilla prominent, or too soapy in the heat, this is very uplifting and refreshing. A green, creamy lily, subtlety spicy, almost a little cold if not for the soft musk in the base. Feels very clean and now seems more rounded as the heat is drawing out a touch of sweetness. Performs great in the heat, something of a rarity as light fragrances have a tendency to disappear then. However, while I still don't love it, I do like it a lot, particularly at this time of the year where I intend to use it more than I did in the past. Moving this from an okay to a like.

I just received the full bottle and sprayed it, I would describe it as a spicy citrusy floral. It is kind of lily, yes, but not a luscious lily in full bloom, it is not as creamy or round as I thought it might be, it is kind of sharp and almost metallic. I loved the lys41 of le labo, which is way creamier and deeper than mon lys. My feeling so far is that mon lys might be more suited for summer, whereas I think lys41 can be worn comfortably in the winter. It's a sharp, cold lily - I wouldn't call it green necessarily. I will see how it develops over time.

From the perfume towelette it’s a little too strong for me, almost headache inducing. Glad I was able to sample! Edit- I think a spray sample will tell the story better than a towelette because it’s a lot more pleasant, powdery after a 5 hour wearing including washing it off!. So I’m torn. I realize now that I have White Peacock Lily and prefer that one, so don’t need this.

This scent is heaven. When I was in Paris a few years ago I really wanted to find a perfume to bring home with me. I was lucky enough to find two that I fell in love with. I went to the Fragonard flagship store and smelled every single fragrance they had. This one was beautiful and mature and creamy. It’s a delicious scent. I typically wear this at night when going out. I have a little spray bottle of it about the size of a roller ball that I got in a little set with a lotion. Once I’m out, I will be repurchasing the full size of this. It’s a gorgeous perfume.

Mon Lys is a beautiful, authentic lily with almost indolic notes. The neroli is also very realistic. The other notes aren't as prominent, but the saffron gives it a bit of tang and earth. This is such a lovely fragrance, it's a shame it's not more widely appreciated.
