Murmure (2020)

I was pleasantly surprised by this beauty. From the beginning it was one of the most accommodating perfumes ever and with every passing hour it just kept getting better. Very much like any love story, perfume loves became one on the spot, with a very first sniff or over longer period of time, or, as I call trough wear and tear. Those are often very long lasting, surprising us, because at first they were nice, but nothing exceptional. Murmure, very much like its name, whispers over time in the most pleasent and unobtrusive manner. I would not call it discrete, it's quitte noticeable, it's just so comfortable without ever being boring. It reminds me of Diorella because of its behaviour and grace more than notes. I tried edt and perfume might be even more...of everything. And if you also like Miss Dior and N°5, you might want something less recognisable that just might be of even better quality for a fraction of price, responsable and rechargeable. Well, it smells timeless and classic. Flower bouquet is thick and creamy with dominant ylang. Aromatics, basil and angelica, are giving it more character and interest without stealing the show. The base is quite woody, but never harsh and with just right amount of vanilla and musk. The result is plush and indulgent, supremely confortable without being overly decadent or lascivious. It also has the most unexpected cooling efect during summer heath. And I find myself enjoying it the most that time of the year. Murmure is like a lady, who enjoys life and comforts, but who also has substance and posture that appears natural and effortless. Serein and gracious. I want to be her when I grow up.

Welcome, Murmure edt (2020)! Gorgeous! I never smelled the old Murmure of 2010, so I can't compare them, but this one from 2020 is wonderful, the perfect copy of Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy (2010). Unfortunately it is softer than Givenchy and does not smell after 30 minutes, so I would buy the EDP version. The difference between them is that Murmure (2020) is a little bit gourmand in the dry down, at least that's my perception. Such a delicate creation, I will buy it even if I already have Eaudemoiselle.

ISO - I recently bought a bottle of the EDP on sale at fragonard not realizing it was being discontinued, sadly i fell completely in love with it and am now unable to purchase more :( i saw most reviews stating that most people dont love this scent/ or dont love it on their skin chemistry- so if anyone has a bottle of the aluminum edp bottle lying around i would be extremely interested in taking it off your hands !!

Love the scent but is weak unfortunately

Herbs, musk and wood. I am in love with Fragonard scents. I bought the one in the aluminum bottle. I typically adore green scents. This one just didn't do it for me. Heart breaking too since the herbs over power the vanilla, musk and rose. Now, if this is what you're into, heavy concentrated scent of a forest, similar to the smell of a candle that smells like a walk through the woods, by all means have at it. Again, I got the aluminum version, it might have been nicer if I got the EDT version. 🤷♀️ Out of the 5 I purchase, I was most excited for this one, and I ended up hating this one. The quality is good though. I would say it's a winter fragrance if you got the aluminum version. If you want to pull this off in the summer, a spritz to the back of a lotioned knee so when you sweat you don't choke people out. 2020 version
