Pivoine

This is simply delicious! To my nose it resembles Chloe New very much (which is my all-time favorite). I could not believe how inexpensive this perfume happened to be. It does in fact smell expensive. I have just discovered this house and am very impressed with every single bottle that I have blind bought so far.

Delicate, happy, charming, sweet & sour, reminiscent of a chilled, sparkling, white zinfandel, on a summer day. Mouthwateringly fruity with a zingy opening, it gives way to lush florals before drying down to its creamy, musk and amber base notes. These Fragonard FOTY creations don't have great sillage or longevity, but that's really not the point; you don't wear these scents to project out a huge aura of stank about you everywhere you go. No, these are fragrances to wear for yourself and those who get up close to you. Light, but still well rounded enough to make you want to keep sniffing yourself. I bought this yesterday. My boyfriend really likes it, I really like it and it seemed like the perfect soft summery scent for a warm Sunday morning. I smell pretty, girly and cheerful. Pink lemonade, ice-cream float in a bottle!

My Pivoine arrived today and I find it adorable. There is something very innocent and romantic about it. I mostly get peony, everything else is silent. What I do like about it is the fact that it smells very natural, very realistic and quite refreshing. My only complaint would have to be the longevity and sillage, both are on the weak side, however I pretty much expected it. I think it would be lovely to wear at a picnic.

Having received a sample of this fragrance in sachet form, I expected very little. It opens with an overwhelming rhubarb note (once the initial alcoholic haze dies down), followed by a clean citrus accord. After about an hour, peonies were all I could detect, and the fragrance faded quickly, barely detectable after two hours. Underwhelming, but inoffensive spring/summer scent for teenage girls with no longevity or sillage to speak of. However, all I have to go on is a sachet sample, which never presents a fragrance at its best. An ok budget scent. 2/5.

This is a really powdery floral with a pretty good last time, not my favorite but I do like it on occasion! Its definitely best as a spring fragrance, and the price for the quality is great for all of Fragonard.

Pivoine opens with a fruity smell. After a while the fresh peony comes and sweeten the composition. It is warm, clean and sweet. A rhubarb note from the top leaves a trace along with perfume development. It is a nice and fresh hint to the floral bouquet. Peony is a wonderful flower, rich, dense, and full of flavor. Peony dominates the fragrance. It has a sweetness that embraces you. Amber brings extra warmth. At this point there is no longer the freshness from the beginning but only warmth and the sweetness offered by amber and flowers. This is a good fragrance for peony lovers. The lasting power is pretty good. If you like fresh warm florals with peony this is a try. Another pick from the garden. Lovely packaging.

fruity and very clean opening which sings in a high sour note, like opening a juicy grapefruit in half. Very youthful and bright, strikingly clean and pristine. Similar vibe to Chloe minus soapy part, add bright sourness. It’s modern and interesting, not my favorite from the house but still a pleasant linear scent. Could be great for layering and actually could be very interesting for men to layer with for its clean, crispness.

I have a 10 ml bottle from the Mon Jardin à Grasse set and I don't know if it's a quality/batch issue or what, but it literally lasts less than 30 seconds on me, I cannot smell it at all and neither can anyone around me.
