Pois de Senteur

Lovely ! Fresh, sweet and young. Very nice floral-fruity. Sparkling at the opening, it becomes sweeter then. Nice gift idea for young women. And the bottle is very cute. Good lasting power.

I didn't get a distinct sweet pea note in Fragonard Pois de Senteur. Instead, it's primarily a peach and rose fragrance on me. The peach here is juicy and deeply sweet, conjuring up yellow peach in my mind, while lime and orange add tanginess and freshness, keeping the peach natural and vibrant. A hazy, powdery, green rose wraps around this bowl of fruit salad, bringing romance to the otherwise cheerful fruity notes. Pois de Senteur doesn't change dramatically over the course of its development. The notes just become less distinct and meld into an innocent fruity-floral skin scent. The sillage of Pois de Senteur is moderate, and the longevity is around 8 hours. I sometimes struggle with peach note, as it can be overly sugary or plastic-like to my nose when combined with rose or vanilla. But in Pois de Senteur, the peach is sweet in a rather natural way. I'd recommend it as an affordable peach-rose fragrance, or simply a delightful fruity-floral with a nice balance of romance and innocence.

This scent is so cute and pretty. It's feminine, young, and playful. Perfect for a sweet summer under the sun. I don't see how you can dislike this. It's not my idea of a masterpiece, or anything I'd buy a FB of, but it's very likeable, kind of like a BBW sweetpea scent or something, but not as "sweet" in a sugary way. The sweetness is from the flowers. I like it.

This is a very nice concoction: clean, soothing, chic floral summer fragrance. I will have to agree with other reviewers though: a sweet pea it ain't. Sniff before purchasing: it might be not what you expected. The Pois de Senteur soap is marvellous, same scent.

I don't know what sweet pea smells like, but from the smell of this perfume, I'm sure it's my favourite scent. It's a common scent, but it's a nice fresh and juicy scent. The longevity is weak and it hardly diffuses.

There was an initial sharp note that was (to me) unpleasant, probably the muguet. After a few minutes (literally three), it's settled into a sweet, soft confection with some heft beneath the frou-frou. Very nice.

Sweet yet not sticky , musk is the note that i can smell lasting longer on my skin when the fruity floral dries out. Lovely spring air perfume, for young girls and young souls :)

In the UK this scent is already available at Marks & Spencer, along with the soap set, at a price of £18 for the edt.

Oh dear, what a disappointment. I bought this untested, as I know I love sweet pea scent. But I can detect no sweet pea whatsoever in this fragrance. To me, it smells like so many of those cheaper-end generic 'celebrity' fragrances - just sweet and sickly and no distinct notes in it. Last year, Fragonard brought out a 'Muguet' fragrance, that bore no resemblance to lily-of-the-valley, and now this! Don't be fooled by the name - if you want a sweet pea fragrance, I recommend Nina Ricci's 'Premier Jour' which is the most authentic sweet pea fragrance I know of. This may be ok for a young girl's 'first fragrance' because that's what it reminds me of. Just sweet and inexpensive. It's not offensive, but nor is it something I want to smell on myself, or other people to smell on me.

I've got a sample from Fragonard which has the notes listed on the packet. The Fragrantica noted are all correct except there is no orange or musk. Review: This is a light, fresh springtime scent. To me, the sweet pea is the dominant note, with hints of lily-of-the-valley, rose and peach on a sandalwood base. Soft silage with weak to moderate longevity.

Somehow this is headache inducing for me. Sweet, but weirdly cloying and as said before it induces a headache for me

Cute bottle with interesting notes. Think it will be a perfect spring perfume. Will buy it for sure.
