Vanille

The most comforting scent I've had! 😊 A fluffy and airy light watery vanilla, like the fluffy custard in an eclair. The caramel is golden, not dark or burned, so it adds the perfect sweetness to the perfume. The almond compliments it amazingly and makes you want to keep smelling it, it's addictive. Clean! It smells just like the notes listed, it is well blended and smooth. No background base notes concoction like in many designer perfumes. This is as beautiful from afar as it is up close. Unisex? Definitely feminine but it's not one of those overly in your face praline fragrances that smell like a candy shop. I can see that pairing well with a linen shirt on a guy. Style: Doesn't get old with daily wear and can be worn in the office, it would smell clean, calming and would fit a white shirt and dress pants well. But it can also be seen as a casual daily scent for a young lady. There are no unnecessary Performance: It has beast mode staying power on clothes, lasts mamy days on sweaters and jackets and projects quite well although when I first got it I found it to be pretty faint, my nose was detecting it more and more with time. I get whiffs of it all the time and find it doesn't evolve much which I find amazing.

I like this one a lot! I initially had a sample of it and thought it was a pleasant, albeit one dimensional vanilla scent. But after trying it a few times I appreciated that there’s a bit more complexity than initially meets the nose. For an EDT, it lasts decently long (though if you want it to be more noticeable you will need to reapply). It reminds me of the glaze my mom would put on the pound cake that I loved as a child. Update: the more I test the large bottle I purchased the more of a difference I’m seeing between this bottle and the sample of this I had earlier. The top notes seem to be missing in this bottle and the color of the liquid is much darker than the sample was. I think I’ll exchange it.

I’ve had this for about a year now. I agree that it is inoffensive, I don’t find it very complex. It’s got a medium density to it so not too heavy or light good for warm and cold weather. I’m cold wearyher you can layer it with other gourmand fragrances or spicy ones. It’s sweet but not sickly sweet nothing like Vanilla 28 which is more like a burnt sugar and a bit boozy. If you love Vanilla this is a severely underrated vanilla perfume. You can buy it directly from their website. I also have Gingember Heliotrope from them which is a warm spicy scent which is great for cold weather too. All fragrances that I have from here last really well and don’t need to be reapplied.

This is hands down my most favorite vanilla fragrance i've ever sniffed and owned, which isn't surprising as i tend to love Fragonard's perfumes, and i am definitely a vanilla lover. Such a shame that it seems Fragonard discontinued this fragrance (at least based on where I live in Australia). Gonna have to use my last bottle very sparingly.

What a great caramel vanilla perfume! It feels very 'light and lifted' for lack of better terms, and I suppose it's all the other notes besides caramel and vanilla. I'm surprised by how much I love this one since I'm not too much into caramel perfumes, but this is great. It's not sickly sweet either.

As a vanilla lover AND a layering lover, I cand be thankful enough for this fragrance. It's such an amazing vanilla on its own, and, when used while layering, can really amp the vanilla in other fragrances. I truly recommend!!

Mmmmmmmmmmm! Yummy. Very much Vanilla. The florals cut down the sweetness, and balance out a lot of very sweet, foody notes without ever overpowering them. Very edible kind of scent.

A super light and subtle vanilla-caramel-tiare. Like an ikea vanilla candle but a little more toasty. It's airy, not sticky or heavy or too gourmand. Longevity is not bad, sillage is very low. It's a crowd pleaser, office safe, but I don't know if it really speaks to me enough to get a full 100ml bottle. I'd cherish it if I was gifted a bottle though! Buy if you love the ikea vanilla candles! Just like the candles, this is very subtle but very pretty Edit: the longer this sits on your skin the more the jasmine & tiare peek through! I really like that this isn't linear. Ikea actually has a new vanilla candle & a new jasmine candle. The vanilla one alone smells like this perfume in the first hour of wear, then the vanilla and jasmine candles together smell like this perfume after an hour

This is a very good vanilla, caramel and almond perfume. The florals are just there to round out the fragrance, they lend a slight floral powdery quality to a very sweet perfume. I have trouble w/ vanilla scents but decided to blind buy this anyway and I'm glad I did. There is no playdoh, cheap vanilla in this little low cost gem. Only real vanilla, melting caramel and soft almond (the almond is not crazy in this so if you are not a big almond person don't shy away) This is a true caramel perfume, the price is very good and this delivers what it promises. My husband is over the moon for this. Makes it up to him for buying another white floral LOL. If you love caramel/vanilla scents and want a really good one that won't break the bank give Fragonard Vanilla a try.

Linear sweet vanilla on me. The caramel notes don’t stand out on my skin but this scent is enjoyable. Reminds me of vanilla plug ins from the early 2000’s. I use VF for layering mostly; it goes well with No. 09’s Vanilla Bourbon. Longevity: 5 hours

This has gotten better based on letting this fragrance macerate. It is an airy sweet vanilla. This is Escapade Gourmande’s little cousin on the mama’s side. It’s an inoffensive fragrance and can be worn in most casual settings.

I can't smell much after about 10 minutes. It's extremely fleeting. I get whiffs of an airy vanilla with almond and caramel. I can't really detect any flower notes. There is a sort of strange, almost cough syrup-like smell in the background as well as another reviewer mentioned. It's nothing bad but it's there and it makes it a bit odd. But honestly, it's such a light fragrance that it's almost undetectable soon after application. EDIT: I have to get rid of this fragrance(give away.) I can't even enjoy it for something like putting on before bed as I can't smell a thing after 10 minutes. There is zero projection and less than zero lasting power, it's ridiculous. In addition, what is left over for me to smell, isn't so good. With the vanilla, almond, and caramel there is a very peculiar smell, a cross between cough syrup, band-aids, root beer, and play-doh.

this opens with a caramelly-almond with vanilla. the caramel is better than the kind i usually smell in other modern perfumes, where it's overly sweet, chemical and burnt. this note is smoother and mingles seamlessly with the floral notes. i think i get tiare the strongest here. that being said, i like my vanillas less sweet/gourmand, so this is still a bit too sweet to me, but it's kind of interesting with the floral notes. though something in here honestly smells a bit like cough syrup on my skin, unfortunately.

Wearing this today for first time, this is vanilla through and through, but more like vanilin that actual vanilla extract, this is a delicate mix of aromas, between creme vanilla and the caramel note in creme brule and creme caramel. Gourmand scent but in a delicate not in your face way. It is enjoyable and simple. These are my first impressions, will come back at the end of the day, if there are some big changes in its development throughout the day. OK half a day spent with it and it is growing more and more on me. I see people are raving about previous Vanille releases, but as this is the first scent I am trying from this company, I think that this has a super good price for a fragrance of this style. Not bad at all, and yes, it has Daniela Roche-Abdrier's magic attached to it (think Prada Candy, but I am not comparing the two fragrances in any way, though).

I guess I love everything Fragonard. I put my perfumed wrist to my husband’s nose and he said “ yes, it’s nice, not Open Ditch - Liquid Plumber” referring to other loud, obnoxious perfumes I’ve tried. Such a sophisticated soft vanilla and I blind bought this! I’m in vanilla almond caramel cloud heaven. Nicer than Vanille West Indiies!

Blind bought this one and really enjoying it. Vanilla, flowers and caramel. This is a second wearing and it seems richer, more complex this time as another reviewer said. The first time I got mostly sweet flowers. Also bought the matching lotion which is quite fragrant. $46 for 100 ml = perfume math free.

Use Yves Rocher vanilla bodylotion (amazing lotion with natural vanilla) and spray a few wiffs of Fragonard Vanille on top and you're in vanilla heaven. But not in a sticky thick sugery way but natural elegant and sensual. And long lasting.
