Verveine

I am not sure if this is similar to the verveine edt the bigger bottle. But I think the notes are little different they made this scent more wearable anytime of the year! — The opening is citrusy, sweet lime( Reminds me of fresh brown sugar or JM sweet lemon. Then it quickly morphs to a fresh floral clean scent!(reminds me of JM silk blossom) I love how it stays close to my skin. So clean and fresh! This would be a nice unisex perfume too! Longevity is good, sillage is moderate. Love it and the beautiful drydown.

Super fresh citrus without being “cleaning product”-y. I like to layer it with some of my heavier, sweeter perfumes to give them an edge. A herbal lemon scent with an amount of peel tang. Makes you feel clean and awake

Icy cold green tea with crazy amount of lemon slices! Like fresh morning breeze, oxygen infused and making you love this life. I personally hate tea in perfumery, but this scent I really like!

Heavy does of grapefruit and lemon. Little bit of floral sugary sweetness. It's definitely different to what I'd normally wear. Think I like it so far.

I must be impressionable, because the name and bottle imagery makes me think of Verbena, and that is all I could smell at first. But after reading “lemon candy” and “sugar” notes in the reviews, I decided to spray it again and picture those. I concede it has some sweetness, but I keep trying to visualize grapefruit, and that is not the citrus I get. The closest citrus fruit is lemon, but I still get a heavy dose of green which makes it smell like Springtime to me. Not too floral (no idea what litsea cubeba is or smells like), and not powdery at all—thank goodness. I don’t get the woody base note in the dry-down, but I don’t miss it. More aldehydic in the dry-down to me. Poor sillage and projection, but clings nicely to my skin, so to get a fresh whiff I just sniff my wrist or inside my shirt collar where I sprayed it.

I just bought this for my sister and received it today. She tried it on, and at first it smelled like a lemon slice dipped in sugar, or a very sweet lemonade. Then that changed and the herbal, lemony notes of verbena joined in with light, floral notes, and the sweetness decreased to just a nice rounding level. It stays somewhat linear after that. Pretty unique citrus scent that aside from being used solo might also make a great layering fragrance too.

I don’t know whether I like this yet, but a one wear sample reminds me a lot of Pacifica Malibu Lemon Blossom. That confirms that litsea cubeba is the fruity feeling note that felt so unique in the Pacifica scent, and it’s sold me on a bar of the soap for more thorough testing. Samples are packed as moist towelettes. One use, no risk of broken glass, no scent change like with magazine style test strips, and it’s sealed well enough that the whole package is safe for me to handle. A+ marketing Fragonard!

I like this verveine a lot more than the one in their naturelles collection. While they're both very verbena-y, that one is more a powdery-floral scent on my skin, with a faint lemony note. This one, however, is much more citrus, with a strong lime/grapefruit note that settles into a light jasmine-leaning floral. Very fresh and wearable.

This is fresh,light and citrusy but not too lemony and doesn’t smell like a cleaning product.It reminds me of sugar coated lemon candy,a bit of white flower petals and a bit of lime blossom.I love it and will purchase again; it’s definitely perfect for spring and summer.

Verveine smells like a sugared herbal citrus drink, comforting and relaxing. Sweet, fresh, herbal. Almost like a tea, it is fleeting but worth to reapply. Very nice.
