AM

This is quite nice, actually. I’m not sure how the score can be so low at the time of this review. I imagine most of the votes are from FDB haters. However, AM is a quality fragrance. Upon the first spray, you get hit with a strong dose of saffron, with a subtle leather note lurking in the background. Because of that, I can see the comparison to Tuscan Leather. As the fragrance develops, though, it moves more toward a rose-oud direction. It’s a very professional scent and works well for both day and night in cooler weather. I would never pay full retail, but if I find it at a fair price, I’ll definitely pick it up and add it to my collection. Performance is good but never annoying or cloying, unless you use like 12 sprays.

Superleather scenario rt. Opens up mature and somber, overall bold, get the Thyme, perfect Saffron weave, opposed to PM and especially to Milano, citrus is real smooth and quiet in this and definitely most bitter woods. Very masculine, settles a cold vibe that stays solid. Get the heavenly drydown on textile with a little, just the perfect amount of warmth built. Makes for a complete circle with not only PM but with Milano as well I think, get you 3 parts of the fruit Leather spectrum. Perfect everyday wear, all purpose cold seasons. Gladly got to try it out, very pleased with the blindbuy, finally for sure a leathers collector must have.

I haven't been impressed with anything from this house until now. This is gorgeous and more importantly unique. It comes off as an orangey leather scent, presumably the patch and oud accord are combining to create a leathery effect. Performance is enormous. Apparently that goofy youtube guy was what it took for FdB to come up with something great!

A.M. is like the P.M. but, with even more style and luxury smell. The Damask Rose has something extra to say. Everything about the smell it is like the old P.M. was made by Amouage in a greater way, in order to please us with the new name of A.M. The both of them will always be in my collection, as I use to go out day and night.

Harsh AM, few years in softened a bit, so after almost two hours slowly warms up, slight brings up some nice excitement but stays mainly all bitter leather, bitter wood, minute amount of saffron. AM PM duo is a: dark gray leather diehards / upper class elegance all appeal, basically counterpoints. Can't really pair it with PM.
