Siberian Rose

I am so tempted to gatekeep this, as I haven’t seen a whole lot of hype compared to other FDB scents, but I find this one amazing and unique. Admittedly I am relatively new to niche fragrances. It’s rose and tuberose blended with a smoky, slightly woody earthiness. Just a hint of leather and spice, but the rose and tuberose remain notable. Soft and floral (not at all “screechy” - very smooth) but so interesting- I can’t stop smelling it. I want to surround myself with it- and you could with this one! It speaks, but gently, totally appropriate for any situation in my opinion. I don’t see this bothering anyone in close quarters. I started with a decant, but now have a full bottle, and am considering a back-up (a first)! This is a forever scent for me! It is not loud, and starts with a moderate sillage that does turn to intimate within an hour or two on skin, longer (I’d say up to 6 hours) on clothes. I do wish it lasted longer, but I love the opening so much I don’t mind-re-spraying. It’s so airy and comforting. I think it is a safe blind-buy if you like the notes and don’t expect a beast mode fragrance. This is not a room-filler or eternal, but so good it’s worth it for days you want a more quiet but uniquely beautiful scent. I think it leans more classically feminine, but this would smell great on anyone. This does remind me of Marfa and Gold Supreme Bouquet, but I find this one deeper and more sexy.

Well,I have smelled many niche perfumes,I was always in search of the perfection in my view or nose😁 I bought it blind after seeing a review on youtube. My God! After the first sniff i saied: Yees i found you🙏 It took me some years and some dissappointmens! I have spent years and money on some perfumes which I thought I like them after testing them in the shop. I dont like usually the rose they use in perfumes(bulgarian,turkish) but this rose they used here is something else,I dont know,its not annoing like the ussual one,its so different 🤔 Its such a complex blend of the notes that makes the scent so sensual,elegant,esquisit,feminin and unique👌 in my eyes,for my taste. I thinks its a masterpiece! I find it suitable for a confident and mature woman. Not for men. Its for floral lovers,for Tuberose lovers. And yes,it has a little bit in common with BDK Tuberose Imperiale(which I have it) because of the Tuberose. But still different in a way. It staies long on me and its addictive. I am so happy that I finally found "the perfection in a bottle" for the feminine cathegory.

This is a first impression review. I’ve literally had it on for under 20 minutes. It’s very refined and I can smell the quality. The leather is the strongest most prominent note and it’s competing with of juniper note. so far it’s a loud fragrance, a very smooth but loud fragrance. The leather is more of a suede and the tuberose (the whole reason I bought this) is in the background unfortunately. At tye 30 minute mark it’s getting sweeter. And suddenly transformed into a more masculine BDK Tubereuse Imperiale Well the tuberose definitely came out and leather is playing hide and seek now. Took a shower a few hours later and exfoliated my whole body within an inch of my life and came out with this still going on my wrist. It’s now 8 hours later and I’m going to bed it’s gone. I think if I hadn’t scrubbed it off it would have lasted for days. It’s day 3 and I love it I keep coming back to it and I just love it-that simple it’s gorgeous and regal.

I bought the fragrance after having smelled it in a store and fell completely in love with it. My main issue with this fragrance after having worn it for a while is that after the initial dry down the projection falls completely on its face. Which is disappointing to say the least since this really is a beautifully sophisticated fragrance and since a full bottle will set you back about $430. I bought this on sale at Saks Fifth Avenue and quite frankly if I wasn't looking to complete my welcome offer with American Express I wouldn't have bought a full bottle. To anybody considering purchasing this fragrance, try it out before buying a full bottle because as mentioned before the performance is really the only thing that makes this fragrance fall flat, other than that it truly is a magnificent scent.

I don’t know what Siberian roses smell like but I bet it’s not like tuberose because that’s what this perfume is all about. They should have named it sexy tuberose. I absolutely love it. It’s so so beautiful with the leather omg (drool) will forever be my top number 1 fragrance of all time ever forever! Idk about all those perfumes listed under the reminds me of section but the only ones close BDK TI and YSL supreme bouquet.... But just that type of tuberose. nothing else just the tuberose. I don’t get a even a hint of rose People- this is a tuberose and leather fragrance. It’s unisex. It’s gorgeous. It smells expensive. If you like frufru lala type scents and can’t stand anything remotely in the unisex territory... DO NOT BLIND BUY. Test it first!

I thought Matiere Premier French Flower was the best tuberose fragrance until I smelled this. THIS is by far the best tuberose fragrance I’ve put my nose on. It doesn’t go bubble gummy which I love. The pear & juniper keeps this fresh. The rose is a very soft and gentle pink rose. This is a seductive fragrance. The leather is very quiet, more of like a soft or muted suede. The base notes consist of my favorite base notes. I love an alluring combo of moss & amber in the base + the patchouli is clean. The negative is the longevity is very poor. This scent lasts on my skin about 2 hours.

Stupidly gorgeous. Rose sweetened with pear and tuberose; the lucidity of the tuberose accentuated with other white florals to create that chilly, slightly piercing “Siberian” effect; the light indoles of those white florals made more sensual and subliminally corporeal with pink pepper and patchouli; earthiness of that patchouli enriched with a brown sugary amber for a sexy, slightly leathery base. After yawning through several FdB’s, this one’s a revelation. Certainly feminine-leaning, but so good I want to smell it on myself regardless.

Testing my bottle and I get a fruity tuberose mixed with a “white rose” accord with some greenish touches and spices. After about an hour and a half, it then transitions into a supple sueded leather and most of the florals leave my skin. To me this is a beautiful elegant leather fragrance that’s completely unisex. It has great longevity and moderate sillage. Great in cooler weather but I also see this being versatile in Spring Summer evenings. Still testing to write my review of this but I really love it so far. - Scentobsessedemma 💋

When I ordered this I wasn’t sure what to expect I’ve never smelt it before but I’d heard a few YouTube perfume collectors speak about it and I was very intrigued. And oh my! This really did hit different at first spray I fell in Love instantly, This is very much a unisex scent definitely! It’s just absolutely stunning it’s so soft and so sweet and airy, the TubeRose is The main note for me with this one , this is my first Ever perfume from fragrance du boir , it’s honestly just so nice kind of in a gentle comforting way

Such a beautiful, signature scent worthy fragrance. The tuberose and ylang ylang in the core is very similar to Marfa from Memo but this has a more creamy feeling whereas in comparison, Marfa feels brighter and almost verdant leaning. Projects well and lasts long on clothing for me. 10/10 if you can find it at a good price.

This is sublime. Sweet, mossy, ambery tuberose pear. The leather isn't loud it whispers. I barely detect any ylang or rose, I do wish those notes were more noticeable. I'm thinking to pair with ylang ylang essential oil to give it a boost. This is just a pretty and elegant fragrance.

Going through TSA the agents were loving my scent bubble. It's not loud but the scent presence is there. This is a goody

A juicy, fruity, cheerful rose, with a bit of warmth and just a tad of smokiness in the drydown. The scent profile is not original or novel but the fragrance is still very upscale and well done. It does resemble a celebrity fragrance, let's say, a wealthy version of it. It might be a signature scent for some, it's versatile and elegant. Not sure about the name though, I don't see Siberia in the picture here or anything grassy or earthy. The silage is nice and robust, and longevity is okay. Price: depends on your budget, as it is, you can get very similar frags at a fraction of the cost.

This has unexpectedly become my favorite rose. I thought I was done with that note after trying Delina, Delina Exclusif, Oud Satin Mood, Roses Vanille, Atomic Rose, and Intense Café, but here comes Siberian Rose. It's so beautifully blended, and that sets it apart from the other rose fragrances. It's also very elegant and nuanced. I love the leather in this. It keeps it from becoming too sweet. Longevity and sillage are decent. I'm not sure yet if I want to get a full bottle. If I finish the sample, I might seriously consider getting it.

This is a very beautiful addictive UNISEX fragrance. I'm blown away this is described as a woman's scent cause it's definitely not. I'm as manly as it gets & I wear this with no hesitation. Such a luxurious fragrance that's worth every dime. You get what you pay for in life... Projection and sillage is above average & the longevity is on point at right around 7+ hours. Give this a sample before you buy cause at this price point, better safe than sorry! All season frag that will definitely get people talking. Nothing else like it!

The oakmoss and vetiver create a dry and desert atmosphere atop the rose, depicting an image of a rose amid the desert. I don't know where this picture comes from since Siberia is cold and full of snow but that's what it reminds me of. A unique creation and well-blended composition of the notes above but not worth the price tag.

This fragrance like a peppery rose, made from leather, very sharp and definitely having more masculine characteristics. I also can smell an oud note, despite the lack of it in the pyramid.

A more green and “masculine” Tubereuse Imperiale. I love it.

I have no idea why this keeps getting called a 'feminine' fragrance - it absolutely is NOT. There is a strong, dry, woody leather in this that keeps it firmly masculine to me, with a feminine touch - not the other way around. I find the opening harsh - all I get is somewhat floral, VERY woody, mossy leather. I cannot pick out any individual florals in this - I feel the florals are more a vibe so they can call it 'unisex' than anything else. . I gave it 3 full day wears and I just can't make it work on my skin, it's dry and screechy and irritating - howoever, I think this could really work on a man's skin. I might see if the mister wants it, otherwise it's getting sold. Very disappointed in this one.

Mix of tuberose and rose&pear makes the first expression. It is sweet and airy like cotton candy. Slowdown feels ylang-ylang and patchouli. Not sure what is "Siberian" here since I am from Siberia, lol. It could be a frosty flower or at least a wild rose from there - nope. It leans more feminine side. BTW I was just looking for a good masculine rose for the fall season. And for now, the winners are Miracle of the Rose Prada (oud rose) and The One D&G (Arabic exclusive edition - The One Royal Night).

I really looked forward to sampling this perfume, as some suggest it as an even better version of Matiere Premiere “French Flower.” I like French Flower a lot and I like Memo Paris “Marfa.” My gold standard tuberose perfume however is Nishane “Tuberoza.” So, Siberian Rose is disappointing...definitely a no-go for me. Siberian Rose wears as an extremely strong leather fragrance with some tuberose in the background. Not at all what I hoped for.

This is so similar to BDK Tubéreuse Impériale I thought they might've switched up my decant - but there are slight differences. This has a soft backbone of leather, with a smooth suede-like quality, and the tuberose is just as sweet but slightly less sour in this one. Worth 300$? Absolutely not.

I like that I get good sillage and longevity on this, but it's too heavy for every day wear.

I used to think that I can handle rose scents. Infact rose happens to be one of my favorite notes but this scent wasn't for me at all it's a strictly feminine scent I can't see any male no matter how metro sexual he is pulling this one out. Besides I couldn't find anything special in this one sorry but I highly recommend sampling it 1st before buying it

It's pretty great scent but it's so soft on my skin. Like a background noice. Feel very forgettable. Office safe, lasts 6h, lingers close to the skin. Not a must have from this house

A blind buy for me. Opens up a cold white floral with character perhaps a little softer than I was hoping it would be. I would have liked for the leather and patchouli to be stronger, I feel as though the name demands strength and character being a Siberian rose; weathering the winter and being reborn in the spring. It sounded really promising. But despite it not being a love at first sniff I find myself drawn to wearing this most days. Signature scent worthy indeed. There’s an addictive note (can’t pinpoint what) to it that keeps me coming back for more. This is for a grown woman, I gather one in her 30s and above would appreciate this kind of mature floral. Doesn’t project a great deal, it sits closer to the skin, but lasts very long, overnight even. The first night I wore this I had trouble sleeping because it was a hot summer night, so I kept waking up and sniffing the perfume all until morning. I disagree that this is entirely feminine, my husband wears it well and the leather and cinnamon comes out stronger on him whereas on me it’s purely florals. I don’t get much rose either. Tuberose and Ylang mainly. EDIT: I now use it as a great everyday spring summer fragrance. Which is silly because it costs a pretty penny lol! But it grows on you. Unlike many of my perfumes that I started out loving I’ve now tired of, this one I started out disliking, now I crave for often. It’s just TOO SOFT! Ugh with that price tag this needs to be smelt by people in the next room!

Dare I say.... No! Ew! What did I just spend all my money on? Serves me right blind buying expensive perfumes. But no it to me is very cloying suntan lotiony. I know there's a fine line between tuberose and gardenia but I prefer gardenia.The tuberose scents that are popular that bubblegummy type are way to youthful for me. I like green gardenia you can mix it with ylang ylang but it can't have a hawaiian tropic vibe or im out. Chanel gardenia! Havent found anything better in a white floral perfume. I should have known when du bois was just giving these away to the youtubers to review almost as if they knew it wasn't going to do so well. They werent giving out demi, juan or complet ...no this one. I found it for a great price, still over 300 I took a chance. It didnt work out. Its pretty on the shelf. Sample before you buy in this case. Next.

Opens with a pink pepper-infused cotton-candy note that only lasts for about thirty seconds, then transitions to an aromatic leather. That leather continues apace with an increase in spiciness, cinnamon, maybe a hit of juniper, green nuances swirling amidst the chapped skins, but after an hour of this, at about the point when I think it's merely an ornate leather scent, a pear note wells up, tropical flowers bloom, and like an angel from up high, these wings coalesce around a velvety rose. Beautiful trajectory, brilliant execution, a rose fragrance for people who enjoy stark, aromatic, and fruity textures, and can't decide which type they want to wear.

This is gorgeous! And 10000% Unisex it's not feminine whatsoever. I saw one review below saying that this was strictly feminine. DO NOT listen to that at all and please do not be scared by the name. The rose in this is very tame and beautiful. The other florals like tuberose are actually more pronounced to my nose. I haven't smelled anything like this before and I have over 700 Niche fragrances in my collection. As a man I love this and wear this proudly because it's beautiful. I'm completely flabbergasted by this baby BUT! THE PERFORMANCE SUCKS BALLS! that's why this is a 7/10

For some reason I expected a peppery, aromatic "difficult" rose fragrance and that is not what I got. Siberian Rose was a pleasant surprise- airy rose petals sweetened with natural, non-syrupy pear, but never going full sugar thanks to a very soft, inoffensive leather note grounding it. This is such a pretty and elegant composition, fit for a lady. Siberian Rose would fit in with Prada's Infusion line, I know there is already an Infusion de Rose which I've never smelled but this could easily have that name.

As mentioned below a great tuberose/white floral scent that is slightly fruity and sweet. A very feminine fragrance that is great for all seasons and most occasions. Reminds me of how the inside of a woman’s leather bag filled with make up, lotions, candies smells of which is far from a dominant leather note. I don’t get much of the base notes listed here though. Great gift idea for a female of all ages as it’s quite safe. 8 out of 10 with great performance but not very unique.

We are in Siberia. A rose, incredibly, emerges from the snow. It is red, its petals are almost frozen, and with a shy sun they begin to dissolve. They give off a fragrance, that of Siberian Rose. A most elegant and delicate fragrance ( like most of the Brand's), with light fruity accents that, initially opulent, then becomes airy, clean. A very elaborate and delicate interpretation of this magical flower that gives so much to perfumery.

This has great strength, longevity, and quality. It is very soft and powdery. I don't think the emphasis is on the rose as the name suggests. It's not an obvious rose fragrance. But it's a nice, even blend of all the notes. None of the notes dominates too much. It doesn't go too sweet, peppery or tuberose etc. It doesn't have huge sillage but is more intimate and understated.

Really enjoyed this fragrance beautifully made rose with other florals with bit of leather and fruity fresh sweetness. I was even considering getting this but it lacked the desired performance with low projection specially at this price. I also agree with sunscreen type of smell it has Otherwise scent itself is amazing and sensual

Very clean crisp tuberose/rose scent. I imagine myself wearing a freshly laundered, ironed white cotton shirt on a a late spring afternoon in a flower garden...eating a juicy pear. Delightful. It comes in and out of soapy territory though so beware.

Tuberose and Rose with a hint of sweetness from the Fruits and a CardBoard smell, not in a bad way but still might not be for everyone Buy a sample and try it couple of times to see if its a full bottle worthy.

On my skin, tuberose and other floral notes (including rose) are complementary suggestions, instead of being main players, which are a masculine woody leather. Reminds me of PM with 52% of the intensity.
