Abraaj Revere

#1231 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is a note-for-note dupe of Amouage "Honour Man" for which I paid $45. It's worth the $45. Honor Man itself didn't strike me as worth an Amouage price. It's a nice likeable scent, but there's nothing amazing about it. I didn't think the performance of the original was more than moderate and same with this. I would respray a mild scent like this at lunch in any case. Versatile and safe for any use, and certainly beats paying an Amouage price. It's intimate range projection, so for me more a casual wear scent.,

Nose Note #733 I wrote a long review for this and then the website glitched and it didn't get posted, damn it... Old school masculine scent from the 80-90s in vein of Open Roger &Gallet or Vermeil Vermeil, but lighter, a slightly more modern take. Overall smells a little dirty. All Amouage fragrances share similar vision in my opinion. And this dupe definitely reflects on that. As a scent - superb. Mind that it's not a crowd pleaser, it's a pungent aromatic old school scent. A lot of pink pepper, geranium and cedar. Musk is dirty and masculine. The second time I'm writing this review I like the scent even more. There's an audience for such perfumes. 7.5/10, not the most challenging, but it's an acquired taste. Nothing about it turns me off

Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. This cannot be what Amouage Honour Man smells like. Overtly sour, thin, watery, green. After 1 hour the sourness mostly fades but not completely giving way to a super faint whisper of what I really hoped this fragrance would be from top to bottom (bold, warm, dry, spicy with just a touch of nutty sweetness from Tonka bean to temper the dry spiciness). Nope not even a nod to any of that - sorry folks Abraaj Revere is a massive let down. I'm not even prepared to buy another bottle from somewhere to see if my current bottle is just an unlucky dud. No. This is a huge fail and heading straight for the bin.

Got it today. Batch produced in 2021z honestly this is disgusting. Doesn’t smell like anything. It’s not pleasant at all. Some weird herbal smell that turns into some old grandma smell after 3 mins. Disappears from skin totally within 15 mins. Do not blind buy this
