Absolute Oud Magnificent 7

One of fragrance world's most over looked clones. You would think with the cult status that M7 holds that there would be more hype around this release. I've had this for about a year now and it's opened up nicely. Having a couple bottles of the original M7 in my collection I can honestly say this is a great clone. The longevity and projection after a year are the same as the YSL. Quality wise it's also right there, the oud in M7 hits harder in the opening but after 20 minutes there is no difference. Because this release was over looked you can grab it for dirty cheap. If you know and like M7 then this is a no brainer

Very close to M7. At least 90% close. Smells fantastic. Does it have real Oud? I dont know. I'm inclined to say no due to the price. Maybe a synthetic Oud. Still fantastic.

This is a beautiful, full bodied and dense scent. Well blended Gentlemanly scent for the cooler weather 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

Why the low rating? It smells amazing. Nothing feminine about it. CEO vibe.

It's 93 % similar to M7 YSL. I was surprised how close it to og. 8.5/10

Smells like a perfumey version of dry woods - like old dry wooden planks or an old dry wooden shack. It opens moderately-bright and dry-woody with a small touch of creaminess in the opening; like a bit of vetiver along with a blend of cardamom, vanilla, and apple, somewhat like Boss Bottled EDT with vetiver. This brightness is kind of invigorating for a woody scent. The vetiver just gives the woods some perception of dryness. It gets a bit less bright as it dries down, but still smells like dry woods. It’s like a brighter and dry-woods version of Tom Ford Oud Wood, whereas the Tom Ford is much darker and much-much creamier woods. It's 30% similar to Memo African Leather or Penhaligon's Blazing Mr Sam, both of which have that moderately-bright cardamom-vanilla-apple creaminess. No perceptible mandarin orange at all. I perceive almost no patchouli. To summarise, it smells like a perfumey version of dry woods. This scent is quite mature, masculine, and sensible - arguably too sensible because it's not particularly sexy, though it still smells very good. It's a great woody fragrance if you particularly like woods. Layering tip: you can layer this with citrus fragrances to give them some woody body.

Initially smells like mandarin and labdanum , sort of a citrusy sharp smelling wood, mid notes remind me of encre noir al extreme but without the musk and some oud , dries down to a weird lipstick smell similar to channel anateus. Its interesting , but I do get how it can come off as feminine in the dry down.

Does anyone else have the problem where they spray this on and after 5 minutes the scent is completely gone? The smell is incredible but it actually doesn’t last. Very sad.
