It does in fact smell pretty much exactly like a macchiato coffee topped with caramel syrup. The good but simple note lineup is simply sweet coffee, amber, vanilla and amber notes blended perfectly in balance to emulate what it's named after. You get exactly what you paid for. This is sweeter and fresher than the other flankers in the Coffee Collection line which tend to be drier. As such, it is a good entry into gourmand style fragrances for younger users who enjoy fresh and sweet style fragrances. Those who do not enjoy sweet fragrances should go for the other drier flankers such as Kopi Luwak or Qahwa. For those who do enjoy sweeter coffee fragrances, there is a surprising amount of competition on the market that Caramel Macchiato has to go up against. Rochas for Man, Fire Your Desire, and Khamrah Qahwa immediately come to mind. Even non-coffee forward fragrances that otherwise perform similarly such as Eclaire come to mind. This is good for users of all ages in all seasons. It's great for social occasions and totally unisex. Performance is good, though many of its competitors are much stronger and nuclear in comparison. Note that the fragrance can be lost in environments where real coffee aromas can be found such as your local coffee shop, office lunch room or home kitchen. Highly recommended, especially for gourmand lovers.

Vanilla and coffee. I've smelt Lattafa Khamrah Qahwa a few times and, from memory, Fragrance World Caramel Macchiato smells very similar but with a grittier and slightly stronger coffee note, and a slightly less-smooth and slightly lower-quality blend. Khamrah Qahwa is noticeably smoother and smells higher quality. If you want a slightly more jarring blend with slightly more prominent coffee that you can more easily notice as coffee because it's both a little more prominent and also not blended together as smoothly, you can go for Caramel Macchiato. Regarding maturation, your bottle may also take a month to get smoother. Both are very nice scents but I would only recommend Caramel Macchiato if you can get it at half the price of Khamrah Qahwa - however, even at the price that Qahwa goes for, this would arguably still be worth it given that it's quite nice. Finally, this smells like Khamrah Qahwa, and definitely not like standard Khamrah. This doesn't smell like Angels' Share, though it's in the same general theme of moderately-sweet vanilla winter fragrances. This definitely doesn't smell like Mancera Amore Caffe nor the clone Maison Asrar Coffee Blend - though it's in the same general theme.

The other reviews here are accurate, Caramel Macchiato by Fragrance World definitely reminds me of Khamrah Qahwa. It's sweet and boozy, but with the addition of caramel and a heavier emphasis on coffee. Performance is good enough, it projects moderately for a couple hours (about 3 to my nose) and sticks around for about 8 or so hours. I find this scent to be unisex, it's really easy to wear. If you already have Khamrah Qahwa, there's a chance that you will find Caramel Macchiato to be redundant. Personally, I much prefer Caramel Macchiato's composition, but factors like price and performance may sway your preference. If you are interested in other fragrances from the Coffee Collection, I recommend checking out Qahwa and Affogato.

This is truly beautiful! Its definitely not as coffee as the Qahwa offering in the line, but its more of a creamy cappuccino with a lovely flavoured sweetness. Update after 2 months: I was expecting more of the coffee note after maceration, but truly its even less so, its more of a really sweet apple cider. Its lovely anyway not the coffee I was looking for, but a good perfume anyway. I also got Artisan Ethnique by lattafa which has a bit of likeness with this only less fruity and more of the coffee, cocoa and powdered sugar. In a sense its kind of what I expected this to be!

Oh wow 🤩 had to have it based on the notes and I don’t regret it one bit! This is niche quality for a fragment of the price (£35 in UK). It’s a boozy coffee scent with vanilla and caramel sweetness. It’s beautifully rounded and long lasting. Completely unisex imo. Absolutely my type of perfume. Reminds me of Lattafa Khamrah Qahwa but boozier. Now I need to try the rest of this collection! I love perfumes and splurge on them regularly, but lately I noticed the rise in quality of these arabic brands and I’m here for it!

Oh this is sweet and heavy! I immediately thought of Kharmah because of the sweet, thick dates in the opening. However there is the addition of a coffee note in Caramel Macchiato, as well as a slight spiciness. It's actually a mix between Khamrah and Khamrah Qahwa, with the sweet dates of the original and the coffee and spiciness of KQ. I actually prefer Caramel Macchiato to KQ because of the sweet caramel. I really enjoy it!! It will be amazing during the winter months.

I saw people comparing it to lattafa kamrah. They smell slightly familiar but that's where similarities end. This is better formulated for 1. This has a sweet coffee note. The amber with caramel give you a sweet powdery amber like amber in sandalwood attar. If you know you know what that attar smells like it heaven. That attar scent is the dry down. I smell the dates throughout on my skin with wiffs of coffee here & there. I personally think its better than kamrah

Love it so much! It has similarities with Khamrah but I definietly prefer Caramel Macchiato, bit more sweeter, blended much better than Khamrah and not that spicy. I love this one so much I'm sure I will repurchase it very soon. My one of the most complimented fragrances that I have.

A far more feminine and sweet version of Khamrah qawah

Haven't tried Khamrah or Angels' Share, so I'm just going to describe what I'm getting as it is. Sticky, syrupy date and coffee cake drenched in creamy caramel sauce. Very, very sweet and quite heavy. It doesn't last super long, but you can definitely smell it on somebody within a room. Hell for anyone who loves fresher scents, heaven for gourmand lovers. This is as dessert-like as a fragrance can get, IMO. However, it's not entirely realistic levels of foody - you can definitely smell the woody and patchouli notes in the far back, and that rounds out the scent nicely, making it wearable if you can stand the overall sweetness. It's not something I can imagine someone wearing everyday - but it sounds perfect for cozy frosty weather when you're endlessly craving desserts and coffee. I honestly didn't expect to like it, turns out I do - when the mood is right.

Am I the only one who gets Kayali Invite Only Amber? The opening is very realistic coffee (black, espresso not sweet latte) but the dry down to me is so similar to the Kayali one. I wanted the apple pie note everyone was talking about, but I don’t get it. 😞 It is a brand new bottle though, so it’ll go and sit in the dark for a few months and we’ll try it in the spring to see how it has developed.

Solid fragrance overall. Reminds me of a toned down version of Khamrah Qahwa with a layer of caramel on top. Doesn't beat Khamrah Qahwa in my opinion but a solid option if you don't like the chocolatey dry down of that fragrance since this one dries down to a weaker version of the caramel Arabic coffee opening. Projection and longevity are both shorter than Khamrah Qahwa.

The perfume is really similar to khamrah but i think the added caramel note makes it slightly better. projects well. lasts long. Warning to not overspray this alot, as it can smell like soy sauce that way, atleast to me. The coffee is definitely reminding me of a cappucino more than an americano and i love that. perfect for colder weather!

Lovely sweet and warm coffee scent. It’s amazing quality at a great price. But I don’t really need it in my collection since I have similar scents such as Khamrah Qahwa. It is nice yes, but it isn’t extraordinary in my humble opinion. Maybe I need to try others from the line?

Definitely smells like Khamrah with less cinnamon which is perfect, since a cinnamon note gets frustratingly Hobby Lobby on me. But I still wanted that cozy boozy winter scent. Likeable.

This to me is a slightly sweeter version of Khamrah Qahwah. Really does smell like coffee, with some spice. Excited to wear this during winter 😋 To me it’s a perfectly unisex scent.

I was hoping Caramel Macchiato might be a suitable alternative to Kamrah Qahwa. Unfortunately, this is not the case. But comparisons aside, Caramel Macchiato is a nice fragrance and I like the perfume a lot. Caramel Macchiato is a thick, dense, VERY sweet, intensely lactonic, creamy, caramel-forward, macchiato fragrance. The coffee note is truly more of a steamed caramel latte, or caramel macchiato note versus a straight-up coffee accord. The caramel note in CM is very pronounced and strong, as are the notes of dates and plum. Caramel Macchiato is an uber-sweet fragrance, it really is. In Kamrah Qahwa, the presence of cardamom (a note I love in fragrances), white flowers, benzoin, musk and tonka bean steer it away from full-gourmand territory. Caramel Macchiato is a nice enough fragrance. Over time however, the intensely sweet caramel note is somewhat cloying and bothersome for me. But I do like the fragrance. I'm off to try Affogato in place of Caramel Macchiato. The coffee note may be more likable to me.

This is VERY close to Khamrah, both open with that cozy apple pie scent. On me, Khamrah dries down spicier, while Caramel Macchiato leans more woody and sweet. I love coffee, but I don’t really get much of the caramel macchiato vibe - no real coffee note here, which is a bit disappointing.

A heavier, rather masculine woody caramel-coffee gourmand scent, it performs better on guys. It definitely has the arabic character, and I literally felt the perfume wears me, so I passed it to my husband.

This was completely unnecessary to make and a waste of your money to buy, if you have any of the “reminds me of” perfumes listed. Like those above, this air freshener disguised as a perfume offers nothing creative or wearable. I love fragrance world but they didn’t need to make this one.

Smells way too much like kismet angel this is a no for me. Weird boozy chocolate with a hint of piss that ties everything together.

A Journey of Absolute Fascination The perfume arrived, and I was truly surprised. When I first smelled it, I didn’t know what to make of it. It was nothing like the descriptions I had read. I couldn’t detect caramel or macchiato—just a mix of unrelated scents. I told myself to give it time and not judge too quickly. After letting it settle, it slowly started to reveal itself. Just like when you stir black coffee and the grounds are swirling until they finally settle, this fragrance needed time to come together. Once it did, it transformed into something truly unique, sophisticated, and unisex. I feel that its scent is even more captivating in the air than directly on the skin. I haven’t tested its longevity or projection yet, as this is just my initial impression, but it was exciting to experience its development. What started as hesitation turned into fascination. This fragrance is innovative and thrilling, nothing like Khamra as many claim. It’s airy yet powerful, not a macchiato at all, but more like black coffee with an intriguing, buzzy nuance. It reminds me of Angel’s Share but lighter, with a black coffee and patchouli twist. The combination is mesmerizing. This is a very distinctive and unconventional scent. It won’t suit everyone or be an easy blind buy, but for those who appreciate complexity, it’s a journey worth taking.

Caramel Macchiato opens with a burst of medium roast coffee, caramel, honey, and vanilla with just a hint of synthetic undertone. I've had a déjà vu feeling when smelling this stuff because it immediately reminded me of Zimaya Sharaf Blend (aka an oriental interpretation of Angel's Share) this is basically the same stuff but with some coffee and a very distinct caramel note. As it dries down, the coffee note takes a backseat, and what we end up with is mostly caramel, honey, and vanilla, not bad, but as I said, you get a very similar experience to Sharaf Blend, Khamrah, and all the other clones of Angel's Share made in arabic fashion. Overall, this is a well-made, decent-quality offering (apart from the somewhat synthetic first few minutes), with solid performance: medium-strong projection for at least 2–3 hours and around 8 hours of total longevity. Truth be told, I'm not the biggest fan. The coffee note is only upfront for around 2 hours, maybe, and the rest has been done before a quadrillion times. Still, if you're looking for a unisex, Angel's Share-adjacent type of gourmand with moderate amounts of coffee and a big emphasis on caramel, this might be a win for you.

I don't know what Fragrance World puts in their juice to make such improved twists on Lattafa fan favorites, but this is the fourth scent of theirs I've purchased and been totally blown away by. I hated, hated, hated Khamrah - it had potential, I like that kind of spicy gourmand, but there was some kind of resinous note in it that made it smell like DIRT and DUST on my skin. I honestly avoided every other version of that DNA after getting burned, but saw a bottle of this on Mercari for cheap and figured, well, it's already oxidized and settled a bit, let's try it. I LOVE THIS. Certainly not a summer scent - I'm tucking it away for the fall - but it's sweet and heavy and sexy and sensual and not a photorealistic gourmand that smells like actual cake. I love this so much!

The initial dry down is a really sharp woody scent that I don’t enjoy. After about 10 minutes, the caramel does come through, but it definitely feels less like a caramel flavoured coffee and more like a caramel scented tree. Overall just way too masculine for me. It has minimal sillage and lasts about 4 hours. Smells like angel share with more coffee. Better than Khamra imo and very wearable in all seasons. Performance could be better but for the price this is a no brainer. If you like angel share and you like coffee fragrances this is an absolute must have.

Somewhat similar to khamrah, but a bit more complex. More coffee forward than khamrah qahwa and the caramel note is a welcome addition. Pretty dense and likeable, can be found at incredible prices.
