Divin Asylum

The fragrance itself is wonderful, it opens so beautiful and has this elegant filling, and as soon as you get ready to walk out the door, their goes the fragrance. I heard Roja doesn't have a long lasting affect either, but I can't believe that I can't get through a lunch date without it leaving before the date is over 😢 OK this is my new updated review. After have this fragrance for my second spring season it's gotten so much better with it's longevity, yes I said the longevity has gotten better. I aways loved the fragrance itself it was just it didn't perform, oh how that has changed. I put it on last night around 9:3ish for my SOTN and woke up around 7 to still have a huge blast of citrus and my room still had the aroma floating in the air. Never had this fragrance done this before and it was still puffs of it walking around me as I went through my morning routine. So it takes around 18 months before this fragrance becomes excellent 👌

I was able to get a sample of this when it initially released but the typically poor performance from this DNA didn't seem worth it. It reminded me of Imperium offered by the same brand but smokier and drier. When the price dropped and it became available again many months later, I decided to buy it. I've had it for a while now and while I prefer the scent of Imperium and Imperium Intense, this one lasts way longer. Next day, it's even strong off of my shirt which is very different than the sample I tried. Performance issue solved. I guess it helps that the pressurized sprayer soaks you.

It misses the opening of Elysium but dries down to the same scent. Like the original it performs more like a cologne but on warmer days it continues to push longer. Bottle is nice too. I have an early batch and a recent batch and the performance does seem a bit less on the second. Much better than Imperium in terms of scent and performance.

Smells freshly divine, quality blend, super versatile, absolutely unisex.. Performance is moderate at best, but the OG’s also the same. You cant ask for more It is 95% identical to roja elysium parfum. If someone smells the different, it is still a great fragrance on its own.

I have the dark liquid bottle. They say the first bottle is stronger. But it has a 5-6 hour performance, which is enough. The first opening and the first hour are incredibly beautiful. One of my most beautiful perfumes. I wish the projection was a little better.

Update: I sprayed it today at a very high temperature, after 1 hour there was no smell. But that 1 hour kills me, it smells so perfect that you want to put it in yourself. Why would you ruin a perfect perfume by reformulating it? 04/2024 production

Wow ! This smells extremely nice ! The scent is really realistic, and tbh the blend is very good and consistent. Don't know about perfomance, but the smell is divine. Great great great stuff. Gonna rock it on spring and summer. Very satisfied !

It has a wonderful citrusy and fresh scent and is perfect for summer and hot days.

Finallly! Lovely scent. I wonder why it took them so long to add this one.

Divin Asylum is a beautiful interpretation of Roja's EPPH, ~70% there just not as high quality. The citruses in the opening are so well combined like Captain Planet, then blooms into a sparkly floral juice. Very very juicy. The drydown is really smooth and elegant, the vanilla here is like a cloud membrane and not liquid if that makes sense. Wonderful emulation, highly skilled blending I gotta give them that. My bottle has macerated for almost a year now and I think the performance has maxed out at 4 hours tops. Moderate projection and sillage in the first hour, tend to get compliments within this period. If I'm going to be out all day, I spray a base layer of Molecule 01 or DS & Durga's IDKW which helps to extend it by an hour or so. A potential Hall of Fame worthy clone if they can push the performance to 8hrs, stuff evaporates in the sun which is a shame for a summer fragrance.

Great smelling modern fougere. Terrible performance (especially in heat). This would be a great bottle to have at your corporate cubicle/desk (do people still work in offices like that?) as climate controlled environments is the only place you'll really be able to smell this and you'll need to reapply. I wouldn't repurchase this. Imperium lasts a bit longer, has greater projection, and smells nearly the same for much less. It is the better purchase if you want this dna on the cheap. This does pair well with Y EDP. It seems to help take away from y edp's sweetness.

(Lemon Lime Artemisia) Beautiful Scent with a Weak Longevity and Projection.🤷. Mine was already MATURE for 9 MONTHS. Longevity & Performance on my skin on a not so warm setting: **1 spray each spot 30mins intimate projection skin scent up to 2 hrs **2 sprays each spot 45mins intimate projection skin scent up to 2hrs **3 sprays each spot 1hr-1hr & 10/15mins of intimate projection to moderate projection skin scent up to 4-5hrs. Even on my shirt it doesnt last. So i think, this was already REFORMULATED. PD 4/2024

I Blind buy Divin Asylum last July 2025 , Fresh but it is very weak perfume. Initial spray is Amazing but After 20 minutes, it will turn into woody scent (skin scent). It does not project well. Not worth it for the Price. I have a "Emir Trillium EDP" and it is much better than Divin Asylum, much fresher although it doesn't last long, no problem with that , I can re spray again if I needed.

-REFORMULATED- WEAK PERFORMANCE

Nose Note #808 I expected something different. This is leaning into the classic mens perfumery territory. It's very slightly reminding me of Vermeil Pour Homme with black currant and galbanum. I feel like here the green notes play a more important role than the citrus accord. Anyway, don't expect this to be all-citrus like Versace Pour Homme or many other mens freshies. Artemsia, thyme, galbanum and especially black currant - I think these are the main notes sort of. The black currant with ambergris take you back to Aventus, but they are very different. OK performer, average or even slightly below average. Overall, I'm just not clicking with it. It doesn't satisfy me at all. 6.6/10, not the most crowd-pleasing fragrance

Just got it. I don’t have Roja on hand to compare side by side, but from memory, I’d say this is about 70% similar. It doesn’t smell cheap by any means, but it also doesn’t come close to the depth and richness of the original. For around $50, I think there are better options out there. I don’t have much experience with clones or Middle Eastern houses in general, but based on a couple of tries, they don’t seem much better than your average affordable designer like Zara.

Either this is the worst performing fragrance in my collection of over 60 but this does not last long on me at all. Either that or it’s so strong that I grow anosmic to it within minutes, but I think it’s a case of the former. It smells great otherwise but as of now, because of this, I don’t think I would recommend this to anyone just go for the original.

The first batch i had was great, it had a sparkle off the skin which was amazing and so uplifting. I bought a 2nd bottle a year later. I got the reformulation people have been talking about. It lacked the initial sparkle which i loved and drydown was poor.

The fresh citrus scent is something everyone would love, but unfortunately, the projection and longevity (SPL) have declined in the latest batch 😔

Many years ago I bought Imperium, liked it but thought it was weak. So I got this, thinking it would improve upon Imperium’s intimate sillage and projection. It did not. Smells roughly the same as Imperium for double the costs and the same 1-2 hour performance. Gets you on the ball park of Elysium though and does smell great. And it is cheap. Just fleeting and weak. If you like Elysium, just get it for $140 at a grey market. It’s as much as a designer these days.
