Elysia Sweet Banana

I love it. It is very similar to the Kayali (I had a sample). the same beautiful mix of banana, jasmine and coconut. Sweet, feminine, classy. Nobody will know your frag costs under 30. Dont tell them ;) I pounced on it the moment I saw it, cause I was thinking about getting kayali one. No need now. I will be getting the Apple Rouge and Vanilla from this line as well, cause I like the og versions and can sniff these in stores here (not Kayali, they are purely blind buys in a lot of parts in Europe). Often white florals that are detectable, not just for main composition, go harsh on my skin, this one doesnt.

I love a vanilla and banana fragrance and this just works for me. Its so light and sweet but stays on my skin for several hours and my clothes close to 12. Its definitely got a light floral but for me is summer gourmand vs fruity floral. The banana is light, more like when you just peel a just ripe banana vs a candy scent or over ripe banana smell. The coconut isn't so much sunscreen as it is a candied coconut and the vanilla is sweet but not cloying. If you like a banana note, this is likely a safe blind buy. New to me but it'll be a frequent wear for the rest of summer!

There’s a blue lagoon nearby with a full moon illuminating banana trees. The bananas are green, far from ripe. It’s slightly tart and nutty. Almost a step away from bananas into the realm of plantains or platanos. Also reminiscent of washed hair but specifically with that warm musky smell. This is a casual, pretty girl, “what? This is beautiful! It’s an intimate scent for sure but the “pretty girl” green banana and florals is wonderful. Perfect for heat. It’s clean and refreshing. I cannot wait to wear this and swish my hair around all fancy. 10/10 will be wearing this down in the spring and summer

Such a pretty, fresh scent! The banana has a lovely soft sweetness and the vanilla notes comw out after the perfume is dried down a bit. This perfume lasts a long time on my skin, a great dupe for Kayali’s Maui in a Bottle. One of my new faves

I absolutely loved this. I haven't smelled the original but this is already such a stand out by itself. The mixture of banana and jasmine is so perfect. It's so sweet and makes me hungry lol I'm buying a full bottle!

I got this today. To my nose, it has some resemblance to Daisy Murakami green (which I got recently), even though the latter seems to have a more prominent jasmine note.

Love love love it!!!!! Very very very close to the OG, 98%. It lasts longer as well. And I have all the KA releases. This is a well done version of the OG

Sweet Banana is a clone of Kayali Maui and a good one at that. This blends fruity, floral, vanilla and woody aromas simply but effectively. You'll find prominent notes of banana, coconut, flowers and vanilla. This is just barely unisex and touches the JPG Le Male DNA but it may lean too feminine for male users due to the banana and flowers. It can definitely be worn by a male user, but you'll have to be very confident. Female users should love this. It's warm and tropical and performs very well. Older male users who prefer drier fragrances should avoid, everyone else will enjoy. Recommended.

Surprisingly well-balanced. The combination of banana and jasmine is an intriguing take on tropical fragrance. Balanced sweetness. The jasmine adds character and class to otherwise more juvenile synthetic banana. I find most tropical fragrances to be too screechy or acidic for my skin chemistry, but this is actually well-rounded. Both pear and vanilla works well for me. Coconut is either negligible, or seamlessly blended into the rest. Sandalwood is a big hit or miss for me, not an issue here, just adds a bit of depth to the drydown. In conclusion: Quite nice take on tropical fragrance. Pretty safe blind buy, if you like the listed notes. Not very complex, but surprisingly well done for what it is! Rather weak performance on me though, but still acceptable value for money.

Received a lot of compliments wearing this one. Good longevity for the price and a decent projection. Very close to Maui in a bottle. Would recommend- the Elysia line never fails to exceed expectations :) hit after hit !

First impression: it smells a little green, with mostly jasmine and a bit of pear. No coconut or banana yet. It’s very faint. Will update after letting it sit for a little while.

I bought a sample/decant. It is a beautiful fragrance. Very creamy and tropical but unfortunately it doesn’t last long on me so I won’t purchase a full size bottle.

Opening: Mild. Creamy. Sweet Slightly candied banana, creamy slighty sunscreen coconut and pear. During the dry down, it's pretty much the same as the opening but the pear and banana become more well blended. I also notice the floral note but it's just adding contrast; it's not a dominant note. The coconut in the background is soft but more artificial. It's giving a sunscreen vibe but not overly so like others I've tried. The vanilla is smooth and is also adding to the overall creaminess. I don't get any sandalwood. Overall this is creamy, fruity, lightly floral and not overly sweet. It has a nice dessert tropical vibe. A mild gourmand with moderate projection of the skin. This is stronger and projects better than Fanoos by Amaran, but I wouldn't necessarily say it smells better - only because the coconut here is more synthetic and suncreen.

First try today. I had it since last fall and waited for summertime to try it out. I don’t now if the scent has changed since I’ve first gotten it.. I remember it had a much more prominent and sweet banana scent, now it’s very floral and clean. Jasmine and coconut is the notes I get the most. Quite soapy.. But I guess I’ll have to give it a few more tries before I decides fully..

it opens up so lovely but pretty quickly dries down to something that is headache inducing in me. not at all bad, just not something i want to smell for hours. also wouldn’t say this is a dupe for maui in a bottle.

Smells like banana and coconut. Unfortunately on my skin it smells animalistic, like a monkey cage in a zoo, lol. Overall it's a very sunscreen fragrance for me and I think there are better options.

Not sure why I haven't reviewed this and the vanilla one yet as I got them for Christmas. Maybe I was waiting for them to macerate. I already had the Marshmallow one and was impressed with that, even more so now it's had a few months to macerate. I can't wait to see how this is by May/June when the weather gets really hot. Anyway, I love it. I haven't really worn it yet as it's definitely a summer scent, but I've tested it a few times. As I say, it'll be beautiful in the heat but it needs heat or it disappears pretty quickly. The original is the same and so was another dupe I had. They both performed quite well last summer though. Either way I'm well impressed with how close it is. The scent itself is soft, creamy, coconut and banana with a noticeable jasmine note. Sweet but not overly sugary, feminine. Fruity but not sharp. No citrus notes to take away from the smoothness of it. When I very first smelled this DNA I thought it kiiiinda had the same base as YBM but I don't think that now. I just think Kayali has a similar base for a lot of their scents and with this being a clone it does too but it's not identical. A Yum Banana Marshmallow would be AMAZING though! I have a banana roll on oil that I got from eBay that goes lovely with this. Perfume Parlour Royalty Not Needed (Kilian Princess dupe) roll on oil goes lovely with it too. Looking forward to trying all sorts of layering combos with it.

To me this is beautiful. Very tropical and a but sunscreeny but thats a good thing for me. It has a bit of powdery feel on the dry down. The vanilla is gorgeous on the dry down. I find it addictive and when i get a whiff of it in the wind its so pleasant and lovely in the summer. I love it. I also do get the banana but its a green banana to me, which i prefer as its more suitable for the hot weather. Longevity is good for me. Not beastmode but stays long enough for me.
