Elysia Vanilla Sugar

Really impressed with this It’s kind of what I hoped the Kayali OG would be I purchased Kayali after smelling in store but when I got it home it just smelt like masculine after shave nothing like in store. And sold it. This fragrance world version is much better than Khair confection dupe also. This is super sweet’ jammy ‘ and sexy it has the Bubble gum note mentioned in original but the orginal has a heavy patcholi Tonka which out weigh the bubble gum Sadly in my opinion. But this vanillas sugar has Great bubble gum sugar sweetness and candied sweets and fluffy airy The jammy dry down is delicious I love it I sprayed it on way home from picking it up (outdoors when sprayed) And the scent lasted for 5 hrs and I could sense it around me as a bubble also got complement. I left it for one week and then sprayed again it even more gorgeous It lasted until next day on my clothes and on my skin about 8-12 hrs It’s projected very well for first 7 hrs and gained a lot of compliments ..so I assume it leave s a trail I actually like this more than the Kayali og And will be buying a bottle of this vanilla sugar bottle every month to create a back stock for my self as absolouty love it

This is a very light and juicy version of vcrs. It is also a liiiiittle more powdery and fresher; floral freshness. It definitely smells similar especially as the weeks go by. I've had this for months and it has certainly deepened and the alcohol opening relaxes completely. It leans a little more into the juicy aspect of pear and the freshness of violet (the notes on fragrantica are wrong for some reason). But it is very lovely and summer friendly. This bottle is a summer gourmand for sure. People can definitely smell you I've been complimented twice while wearing this perfume hours later despite going nose blind to it. I also smelt it on some of my clothes the next day. Pretty sweet and airy and inoffensive and delicious.

I’ve never smelled Kayali rock sugar, but I know it was intended as the dupe for it. This isn’t sweet like you’d think it would be and I think part of that is the musk balancing it out. It feels floral, musky, with a bit of sweet thrown in, but like not a standard floral musk. It’s a little perfumey smelling e.g., I can’t really smell the layers or each note individually but they’re blended really closely and well. I think it’s a spring, summer, and even a January scent too. It didn’t last when I first got it a few weeks ago, but now it’s macerated it lasts ages and I don’t go nose blind. But it’s not my favourite type of scent-I’m more fresh than feminine in this way. Oh and it’s only cost me £19.99 - bargain!!!

Correct notes are Top notes : Vanilla, pear, marshmallow, rum, ivy leaves, ylang-ylang Heart notes : Bubble-gum, jelly candy, caramel, jasmine, labdanum Base notes : Sugar, patchouli, tonka, cashmere wood, sandalwood, vetiver. This is so well done! Lika a cloud of marshmellow sweetness! The vanilla last so long! This is soft, feminine, not synthetic at all on skin. Its smells marshmellow and jasmin in the most beautiful way. Nothing smells of. On paper in smells more like candy. On skin its not juvenile I am 39 and it smells like a sweet perfume for me, its a gourmand marshmellow in the best way. I am so suprised. Because I have tried khair confection and that smelled so synthetic. The pear was horrible..

For me this is very pretty, it’s an easy reach and is pretty strong! It’s quite elegant in a fun way. I don’t find it juvenile and at 52 that’s always a consideration. It’s uplifting and just a happy (more perfume than gourmand) scent. I was quite surprised at how elevated it is as I was expecting a sticky vanilla candy scent, the sweetness is just perfect. I have all of the Elysia fragrances and this one is in my top three (1. Sugar Patchouli, 2. Vanilla and 3. Vanilla Sugar) but to be fair for the cost it’s a really good line that I really enjoy and the only one I was disappointed with was Marshmallow. None of them needed maturation, all good out of the box which for me at this price point is a bonus!

I got this yesterday, it's my first ever bottle from Fragrance World I guess. Maybe I have another, I'm not too sure lol. Anyway, I absolutely love this.... I got it yesterday, and I'm so excited. As a vanilla girlie, I'm impressed. This wears so well I promise. The sugar, the vanilla.. It's so well blended... It's a 100% feminine, it's like soft girl energy. The notes say it's powdery but I love it's not too overpowering to my nose. The opening has a bit of alcohol to it so I'll let it sit for a week or so but I already love love it. I might be getting the whole ELYSIA line because the quality on this is everything 😍. I'm sold!!

This perfume is very very similar to the original VCRS (but more alcoholy a little bit less creamy and fainter). I prefer this smell over the khair confection one, this is swetter and more yummy (very candy like!). I hope it gets stronger as it sits because the only negative i see about this elysia is that on my skin it lats only for 2-3h, and moderate proyection. I wish it last longer that the only thing i dont like :( but the scent is a 10

It’s literally identical to the OG, except it does have more of an alcoholy vibe to it, it’s slightly fainter. To me this one is closer to VCRS than Confection; This one is fluffier and more candy-like, whereas Confection has a strong pear note and isn’t as fluffy. Defo an easy grab for spring/summer! Hoping it gets stronger as it sits. Why buy the expensive OG when u can have this?! 😍

OMG! Its sooooo good . Its finally something new and cute and all ... Im so happy to have it m it's long lasting and has a good sillage. Surprisingly it didn't give me headache although i get headache from sweet warn perfumes but its good for me. After one week This start to change and im not so sure anymore... It has a smell in it now that makes me nauseous.

I have this one and the Vanilla from the collection - and I prefer VCS so much more^^. Just love it. Performance is great, price really affordable and the scent is just to my taste - no regrets buying this one.(Vanilla is a solid like also)

Cute, sweet and woody. I've not smelt the original so can't comment but I really like this. Very feminine and it's nice on its own without layering. It's not a blind buy disappointment 🍬 🌸

Sweet smelling like marshmallows and sugar. Very similar to Khair confection but less mintier and woody. Averagely long lasting and feminine. I recommend it as a blind buy

There are no fruit notes in this fragrance, but to my nose smells like super sweet fruit candies. I would qualify it as a gourmand. I really like it.

This is so surprisingly good, especially given the price. Even the packaging in person looks so much better than the pictures. It is nice straight out of the box, no weird undertones, lasting power ok, on clothes very good. It is not however an exact dupe of Kayali, there are differences, Kayali is deeper, tonka is more pronounced, it just feels thicker/denser if that makes sense. This was is lighter, the initial spray they both share that same bubble gummy note but Elysia remains lighter and just turns vanilla sweet, almost cotton candy sweet without burnt sugar notes. This is not the most sophisticated fragrance out there but it is such a mood lifter! I spray all over, good amount of sprays and then add Kayali on pulse points, what a combo, I smell like a candy and I get wafts through the day. This may be actually back up bottle worthy. I am impressed.

This is a lovely scent, no wait time needed. At first spray I get vanilla, pear, bubble gum, and a lightly floral shampoo scent. This becomes a sugary tonka jellybean. It doesn’t evolve beyond that on my skin. Soft projection (beast mode when I’m at the gym) and 10 hour longevity on me. This was a blind buy— my first Fragrance World— and I wasn’t sure I liked this when I first sniffed the bottle, but this will definitely be an easy reach for me. It would also be a nice sweet scent that isn’t cloying for summer. I’m 44 and don’t find this juvenile at all, but I also think this would be a great scent for a tween or teen. I will definitely be repurchasing. My one beef is the rubber flower thing around the cap. Mine came misshapen, and even if it wasn’t, I don’t like it and will be cutting it off. The bottle is beautiful without it.

i copied the actual notes to post here: Top notes : Vanilla, pear, marshmallow, rum, ivy leaves, ylang-ylang Heart notes : Bubble-gum, jelly candy, caramel, jasmine, labdanum Base notes : Sugar, patchouli, tonka, cashmere wood, sandalwood, vetiver. this is very much VCRS but there's really no detectable patchouli in this one. the most detectable notes after dry down are the bubblegum/jelly beans, caramel, tonka, and sugar. the pear and slight jasmine keep this fresh and friendlier for warm weather. it's very feminine and sweet. a super easy reach if you like sweet scents. longevity is fine, 4-6 hours projection seems to be decent, nothing 'beast mode,' but for my personal taste, that's perfectly fine. 7.5/10 at the worst - it's pleasant, inoffensive, and an easy grab.

This is a a more juvenile perfume that smells like candy it is very simillar to what once was pink chiffon. Unfortunately I can not compare to the Kayali line because it is not sold here. When it evolves it becomes more subtle and calming still sweet but not so invasive. I can really not detect any particular note its evolves from juvenile candy sweet to subtle calming sweet. I prefer the latter. I think I am to old to pulling this perfume off but my daughters will probably love this. All in all its smells nice I just prefer more vanilla in my notes.

Its a feminine sweet girly scent, it’s nice but eh not a big fan. It definitely lasts tho and the bottle is cute but it can be a bit too sweet Edit: okay so guys i spoke too soon cause i let this marinate and omg😩😩 it has turned into a mature sweet scent with a hint of vanilla, i love it.

It's a sweeter, more candy like intrepretation of VCRS without the patchouli. It is nice but not my favorite dupe. I prefer the Gulf Orchid - Sweet Like Candy that is almost spot on with VCRS and then Khair Confection. Still a good choice though.

a complex, gorgeous woody vanilla. i'm honestly not smelling anything really sugary or sweet on me. it's very mature, warm without being too spicy, perfect for older women or those who want a classic vibe.
