Genuine Man Giovany Reserve

Having both, they are insanely similar. That is the obvious original Reserve Priveè. Very nice scent, longevity and projection are similar to OG. But neither is very expensive in the bigger scheme of the fragrance community. Can't go wrong if you like the DNA.

if you're a fan of Givenchy Gentlemen EDP safe to say you'll like this, it's different enough where you can justify owning both the EDP and this. Or the real Reserve Privee However as good as it smells, it's quite watered down to the point you'll need 10-15 sprays to get a full day out of this fragrance. This is normal for fragrance world products. I've owned and tried enough to say, no assure that. After the 5 hour mark with 10 sprays the ONLY way I'm reminding myself of what fragrance I have on is by sniffing my shirt. I've owned this since pretty much the first month it was sold on Fragrancebuy and the performance still hasn't improved, it's been over a year and maceration didn't turn this into anything special. I do however feel like I dodged a bullet as the real Reserve Privee I've heard doesn't perform well either. Yet Gentleman EDP I can still easily get 10-12 hours out of 5 sprays. Whether it be from the first wear or if I wore it tomorrow. I would have just kept the fragrance world name. People may mistake this for a $5 flea market fragrance unless they are somewhat familiar with Givenchy fragrances as everyone and their step father has recommended this in winter top 10 reviews. I hope that some other clone company makes a version of this that actually lasts and projects. We don't need a fancy box or some over the top presentation like Rasasi - La Yuqawam or Afnan - Highness III. No one is seeing, let alone smelling the boxes. We just want something we can get a full days wear out of. Put the budget where it matters.

It macerated for quite a while, and in my case i think this one is a mix of givenchy gentleman reserve prive and dior homme intense. I get A LOT of this powdery iris vibe which i personally love, but keep in mind it makes the scent fit in when you wear atleast a nice pullover/button up, or even a suit. I get a chocolate note from it as well, but this might be just how it is on my skin. Whiskey and woody notes are there as well, but rather in the dry-down phase. Projects decently and has a decent longevity, nothing extraordinary. Really good fragrance overall, would recommend.

7/10 I blind bought this, and the Genuine Man Only Eau Bois. I like the Eau Bois much better than Reserve because it's not as sweet. It might just be the opening booziness' and powdery scent that are very intense to me. The dry down gets better. It also gives a little bit sweet feminine vibes, it's confusing. The amber,sweet,boozy,woody, takes you all over the place.

I know the OG Smell, and this is so damn close.. If something missing is the chestnut notes on the dry down is less than the OG Super powdery & boozy on the opening will make it harder to receive, but the drydown is so elegant

Nose Note #1100 I've bought this and the Zimaya dupe to compare them to the OG side by side. This is definately doing a much better job at getting the DNA right than Inekas Luna. But still this is maybe 85% to the Givenchy. It gets the iris note right, it's not as lipsticky. The whiskey note is there. Yeah, the DNA is pretty much there, but something is missing, FW is not as dark, not as thick. Performance is of course substantially worse. Givenchy is very confidently strong. FW is just meh moderate, just like perhaps all of their dupes from Fragrance World. French Avenue is no comparison. The scent itself is very nice. And much much better than Inekas Luna. 7.5/10

As a woman I enjoy wearing this myself. As I do DHI. To me these 2 do not smell alike. Just because they have iris as a main accord, does not mean they are all that similar at all. Iris has a very distinct scent and yes it's unmistakably present as it is in DHI, but really, they're 2 totally different fragrances. I have not smelled the OG so I can't compare it to that. It doesn't really matter either. I like this one. It's soft, gentle, boozy and a bit creamy. Sweet but not cloying. Warm and cozy. If you like iris then you'll probably like this. As well as DHI perfectly unisex in my opinion. Performance average.

Princed by dark varnish on dense wood planks. It smells like it rarely bathes and spends its days hating beautiful things.
