Historic Cedar

I would add to below comments that people with a slightly less attuned pallet of smell, which some people naturally have, might suggest that it smells like potpourri. In all fairness it is understandable, but it has so much more depth to it. I would say the dried fruit is the big star here and the main scent profile you will get is very close dried prunes, combined with cedar in the background. Nonetheless for the price definitely interesting. Like said before, might not be blind buy safe for most people.

Because of the similarity, I bought this to sneak peak the Penhaligon HC DNA.. because I have a plan to Buy the OG And, wow.. the scent really unique, its literally smell like dry cedar with vanilla & spice topping. Mind blowing for having this kind of quality on this price (16$ at Indonesia) Performance moderate, but I can just overspray this because its price is cheap as fvck 😎 Warning : not a mass pleaser DNA

Blend 3 / 5 (fruit heavy above all else) Uniqueness 4 / 5 (sporty fruit) Quality 5 / 5 (powerhouse and doesn't smell that cheap) Overall it is a Fruit Bomb. For me, well I don't think I want to be a male associated with Fruit Bomb. I definitely don't want to be a living fruit bomb on the street. A true silage powerhouse, day and night. For a second or more Historic Cedar opens with sweet spice with herbal undertones. Reminds me of softdrink Rum flavor; synthetic and linear. If you have Fragrance World Montero Tobacco you'll know what I meant. In seconds, fruity sweetness take place. With Manggo, plum, peach start appear to the surface. Sadly it stays linear all day long. While the fruit contribute to the sourness quality; It can be little bit boring. I do also feel Black Tea and Jasmine contribute to sweetness quality in it. While it is not listed. It is not a vanilla, since it does not have creaminess quality to it. I believe it can be wear as unisex perfume while leaning towards feminine. Quality wise it's very linear and little bit boring. The only superior quality in it is in it power to stay and sillage.

I totally agree with the below reviewer - this one is an absolute fruitbomb! I do get the cedar, although its well buried beneath the very heavy dried fruits. I was hoping for a more prominent cedar frag, but I all got was dried fruits, some sweet peach and a subtle cedar base. Very sweet, and although I do like sweet frags, like SWY, they need to have something more than just sweetness to them, and this one does not have that complexity. If you like sweet fruit fragrances, this could be for you. If you're looking for a more complex and woody fragrance with a subtle fruit note on top, then this is not for you. Not a safe blind buy!
