Imperium X

Received Imperium X (IMX) today after a 3 week wait delivery from the UAE to Australia. To me IMX is a juiced up version of Jo Malone - Cypress and Grapevine, adding pineapple, citruses, tobacco and leather. I get the comparison to Aventus absolu but it doesn’t smell exactly like it. A modern twist on the classic “barber shop” fougere fragrance. It’s an easy every day wear suitable for men aged 30+. Office friendly Best way to explain IMX is the a toned down Aventus absolu x punchy cypress and grapevine It’s a likeable scent nothing outstanding. I can’t compare to APEX as I haven’t smelt it. *UPDATE* So I wore IMX today to work went abit heavy on the sprays with 8. Drove to the petrol station before work and had a compliment from a complete stranger. A female was stood a few feet away from me and said out loud “someone’s cologne smells really nice” she then pointed at me and said “I think it’s yours”, slightly embarrassed I said “thank you”.. I thought to myself walking back to my car hmmm maybe this is a good fragrance after all!! Got home from work after a 12hr shift and my wife says “I can smell your perfume it smells really nice” I asked is it strong? She said I can smell it from here (3 feet away) Overall very surprised with the performance, I was completely nose blind to it by the time i arrived at work and couldn’t smell it at all thinking it was poor.. I was wrong. I must have been smelling good all day WINNING

Mine just arrived two days ago. As usual, I spritzed some, then, will leave it aside to mature for a month, at least. But, just from the 10 spritzes, I could easily smell how great a fragrance this is, especially, given the miniscule price. Obviously, I can't speak to the longevity or the sillage yet, but, the richness of what I picked up led me to believe that this will be both long-lasting & have good sillage. On a side note: does anyone else find strong similarity between this & Atralia's Absolute Noir? I damn near immediately felt like I was smelling the watermelon from that one, but, don't see it listed amongst the accords. Whether or not, I very much enjoy my Absolute Noir, so, I have zero doubts that I'll get much enjoyment & compliments from wearing Imperium X, as well 🔥🤎 Update: Well, I can certainly say that this ain't Absolute Noir, in the least. I don't know what I was detecting at the time, but, now that I've had opportunity to enjoy this banger a bit, I can truly assert that it has its own thing going on, and, it is an extremely attractive, mass-appealing fragrance, that I'm very happy to have in my repertoire.

WOW! This is great stuff! So this is a throwback to the 80's or 90's or maybe a little of both. Definitely all man too. I wish it lasted a little longer and projected a little more however it's not bad at all in either department. So it does have similarities to some of the fragrances listed in the reminds me of section. It definitely smells like a modernized version of Polo. It also has some Drakkar Noir going on, it also has some Cool Water or other green fougere vibes too. Maybe even some Aventus type stuff going on too. So it is definitely green, masculine, and it gives off fougere vibes for sure. Someone mentioned Jo Malone Cypress and Grapevine and I can totally smell that. So I can go two different ways on this I can either say it's a lighter more modern fresher Polo, or I could say it's like Jo Malone Cypress and Grapevine if it were made in the 80's. It's an amazing fragrance in my opinion.

Smells very similar to Apex. It's not the same level of quality, but this is one of the best clone fragrances I own. I went thru half a bottle very quickly. I love this stuff. I also own DUA Predator. This is very similar, but this is actually better, the opening is more vibrant. You get the pineapple in this one way more. Apex Parfum is a 10/10 GOATed fragrance - it has nuances and quality that no clone will capture.

Fantastic. It does smell and feel synthetic, but it does smell really good. Very green, woody and long lasting. Does remind you of polo green but more wearable. Nice pine note. Performance is okay. Masculine. Buy this if you like older masculine fragrances

Let it sit for awhile!!! Very sharp fresh OG type of sent I didn’t think much of it at first I let it sit a couple months and boom it’s strong and attractive sent!

Wonderful scent. Similar to Sauvage Elixir but a bit fresher. Rich and thick scent. Spicy.

A drier, less sweet Polo Green. Late fall, early spring, and winter. Not bad.

Best I can describe this is Dior Sauvage mixed with Davidoff Cool Water. You get the citrusy parts of Dior Sauvage, mixed with that gerrnery of Davidoff Cool Water. It's a very pleasent smell, it's not your usual mass appealer with the usual DNA, I'd say if you want a more mature Dior Sauvage for less get this. I don't know how simmilar it is to the OG cos I don't have that type of money to spend on a fragrance, but nonetheless this stuff is great. I got it yesterday so I assume with time (hopefully) it'll get stronger, cos for now, it does project nicely for that 1 hour but after 2 hours it's a very thin skin scent so I hope that as time goes on it will get stronger like most dupes do. All in all, if you want a more green Dior Sauvage I higlhy reccomend it, on clothes it stays VERY LONG, but for now on skin it's kinda ehh, but projects very nicely so in few months I'll hop back to share whether or not it got stronger.

Absolutely nothing even remotely close to Polo (green), not even a milli-increment's worth.... couldn't be further away from it even if it tried to be. These noobs basing that comparison on the color of a bottle is priceless and worth a good laugh. This is a sharp green scent similar to Loewe Essencia pour homme ...but then add a shit-ton truckload of superambers...would be a great scent if it weren't for that. I don't know if most reviewers can't smell that note or just never mention it but I am sick of buying bottles after doing loads of research to make sure there are no superambers in them and then finally getting them to find out they are loaded with them, so i am calling them out. this one reeks of amberwoods, its just about the only thing you can smell. Tiny bits of green are trying to get out from under it but fail miserably to do so. Why would anyone ruin a fresh, sharp, green scent with a headache-inducing, screechingly synthetic amberwood, or according to the note pyramid here--cashmere wood (same thing, they both smell exactly like shit). Ambrocenide, amberwoods, cashmere wood etc...all used to bind ingredients and add longevity. I would rather re-spray every 3 hours than smell that crap, which smells just like every unboxed and clearanced $12 bottle of no name nothing in Marshalls. Disgusting, cheap, absolutely overwhelming to your nose and everyone else around you while screaming immaturity like a 17 year old broccoli top kid just walked by an hour ago. Its not on the 'smells like' section, but two other green pieces of trash that smell exactly like this one: 1.Green Sapphire--I think this swill is from Fragrance World as well, and 2. Mustang green-by Ford. Dead ringers for Imperium X. ALL GARBAGE. If you want a true green scent then get the Loewe Essencia, or Cerutti 1881. Hell, get Polo, although Polo is nowhere as fresh and sharp as Loewe or Cerutti..current Polo formulations are actually damp tobacco and leather heavy-which I love-but even the old formulations that were extra pine-y were still nowhere near Imperium X whatsoever.

اعجبتني هذه الرائحة اكثر من النسخة الاخرى امبيريوم، الرائحة باختصار افينتوس ولكنها اعمق ومع جلد يذكرني قليلا بسيدرت بوازيه وبوازيه انتينس من مانسيرا العيب الوحيد الجودة تبدو اقل قليلا من اغلب عطور الديزانير، بنفس جودة اغلب عطور فريغرنس ورلد بكل صراحة التعليق الاخير الي يقول مزيج بين سوفاج وكول ووتر اغراني ولكن طلع التشبيه خاطئ تماما 😁 جيد ٨/١٠ - I liked this scent more than the other Imperium version. In short, it smells like Aventus but deeper plus leather It reminds me slightly of Cedrat Boise and Cedrat Boise Intense by Mancera. The only downside is that the quality feels a bit lower than most designer fragrances, roughly on the same level as most Fragrance World perfumes. Honestly, the last comment saying it is a mix between Sauvage and Cool Water tempted me, but that comparison turned out to be completely wrong 😁 Good, 8/10

Its great! Opens up with a nice citrus burst of all three fruits and a herby crushed up green plant accord similar to old style green fragrances like Paco Rabanne PH, Lomani and Quorum. As it dries down it's quite similar to Sauvage Elixir. A modern re-imagining of a 1970s profile. Patchouli stands out in the base on the final drydown. All in all a decent fragrance for the price! Good quality for under £20! Recommended, 8/10

A synthetic Apex. Tremendous projection and longevity (at least in my case). All the fruity notes are lost on my nose, and cedar always dominates. I constantly perceive a note that is too green, almost fougère. I have tried blending it with sweeter fragrances to see if I can tone down the pine a little. Not my cup of tea. I wouldn't recommend it without trying it first.

I can definitely see the Sauvage Elixir & Aventus comparison, office too. My nose picks up bergamot, jasmine, & amber w/ a dab of leather. I don’t detect any polo green , but maybe it’s just me. Still a groundbreaker either way🤞🏽,it lasts me 8hrs+

I usually avoid clones as I have been stung too many times in the past. But this one is rather good, very close to Apex, and it lasts. I will consider this one a success.
