Inizio For Him

I can’t agree with main accords selected here: lavender and warm spicy as dominating accords. For me key player in this scent is neroli. I can feel is from the opening, throughout the mid and only starts to faint when it goes into far drydown. This is very aromatic sweet blue scent with distinct neroli. It is sweet from the apple and cardamom, but not overly sweet. I can imagine wearing it in the summer. You see Cardamom and Lavender and you may think YSL LNDL but it’s nothing like it. I’ve never smelled Tumi Dusk, but when I see the notes of Tumi Dusk, I seriously cannot imagine Inizio is cloning this scent – there’s no neroli or lavender or apple there. Inizio isn’t very citrusy, maybe first few minutes and that’s all. It has a prominent neroli note and definitely aromatic component from the lavender and clary sage. Base is indeed musky. For me this could be an original creation, quality is slightly higher than usual fragrance world, maybe approaching French Avenue territory, as it is very well blended. If you like Neroli and Blue scents (those on the sweeter side) you should give it a try despite low rating. Finally there’s no ambroxan or at least not an overdose of it. I didn’t blind bought it, I had few wearings from a sample that made me buy a full bottle. I'm still not sure about the performance , one day I can feel it for very long time, other day it vanishes quite quick. I think it is probably moderate. The scent is not groundbreaking, but I don’t know any blue type of scent with neroli + this one is extremely versatile, you can wear it all seasons – so that’s kind of something new, I can appreciate that it’s not another variation of other fragrance (or if it is indeed Tumi Dusk, that’s not a very popular one).

Read semyonsemyoff review on this and got it a few weeks ago. Of the Cheapie haul I had, this was the standout. From the first spray you get a juicy crunchy Green Apple note combined with sweetened Neroli. It's a lush well blended combo that then starts to develop with some Lavender then Musk and Patchouli getting more present at it dries down. Might be me, but the Patchouli does have a little incense vibe to it after about an hour. Not as obvious as in something like AdG Profumo, but this is more bright and sweet GreenApple/Citric/Musk with the base Patchouli adding a dark element my nose is interpreting as a very light dose of Incense. I will probably get niche heads angry here...but this isn't a million miles away from Bond No9 Lafayette Street clone Luxe Street by Maison Alhambra. They're not the same....but they share many similarities. Same ballpark, opposite sides. It lasted 7 hours for me, and gave off a good amount of sillage and projection for 2 hours. Impressive for a scent on the fresh side of things. If Fragrance World slapped a French Avenue logo on this they could demand an extra 15 bucks and it would still be a bargain. Not much hype surrounding this either...which is weird as it's a really easily likeable DNA. It enters my Summer rotation, and gets a bloody lovely 8.8/10

Nose Note #803 This has been deliberately downvoted, because this is one of those mens perfumes that hardly anyone will dislike. Imagine Allure Homme Sport, but less creamy, more invigorating, more uplifting, perhaps more "happy" - you'll get this. A very decent freshie with a tasteful twist. Doesn't smell simple or trash - it's superb for the money. Honestly - start to drydown, there's nothing offputting about it, nothing that disappoints. The start doesn't have an alochol blast or anything like that - it genuinely smells like a good quality perfume. My wife really likes it! Treat it like a 2025 reimagination of Allure Homme Sport, or a flanker to AHS. The performance may not be up to Chanel's (or maybe even TUMI's? I have never previously heard of this brand) standards, but it's decent for a freshie. More than decent. I'm satisfied with the performance. This orange is perfectly sweet, slightly candied, airy, nicely sour. Very nice orange/bergamot accord. The notes on Fragrantica may be wrong, I don't know. I've gravitated away from the dupe brands lately towards niche houses, but those recent releases from FW brands really don't disappoint. 8/10, really well done, memorable

Update: After two days, it's already slowly maturating and getting less harsh, so disregard my review. Will update in a couple weeks. ----------------------------------------------------------- I haven't smelt the OG Tumi Dusk. Upon very first spray (no maturation at all so consider this lightly): My nose picks up almost pure generic musk (not laundry musk; musk is moderately-dense; spring-appropriate regarding brightness/darkness) with an unpleasant and prominent mineralic/metallic nuance. That's all I get. I get no apple, no neroli, no citrus, no lavender like other reviews below. I'm very familiar with such notes but I assure you I don't get any of those. Smells like a mineralic/metallic twist on Maison Alhambra Alpine Homme Sport (CAHS clone; CAHS = Chanel Allure Homme Sport). @semyonsemyoff below also points out the CAHS similarity. I see Tumi Dusk is also compared to CAHS. I don't like this Inizio and I don't like that Maison Alhambra CAHS clone either (haven't smelt the OG btw). Will await maturation and update.

From what I've heard, first hand from people that have tried this, it is not like Tumi Dusk at all with the exception of having a somewhat similar bottle.

This perfume smells so refreshing and heavenly.
