Ivory Musk

Super citrusy opening which I don't love, however the dry down is this creamy musk with just a slight zing of zest. Very inoffensive, pleasing and a price tag that you can't beat. Edit: The way they sell this perfume is comical. They put 80ml of juice into a 100ml bottle. That means every single new bottle is 1/5 empty right off the bat. Why? I mean this perfume is cheap but what a ridiculous way of production.

A pleasant, straightforward citrus musk. Clean smelling, mild fragrance, suitable for work, casual wear or any occasion really if you like simple scents that are not overbearing or complex. Wish it was a little more powerful and would hold onto the citrus longer but can't complain. Also can't compare to the OG but pricewise this ticks the box. Unisex.

Got it when it was a lot colder and disliked it. It was a fruity Erba Pura-esque mess, totally unwearable. I let it sit. It seems the hot weather and maturation did wonders. I get a warm musky fruity loveliness. Great fun to wear but it took it a while to get there.

Took 5 months before this became wearable. Now the black currant is coming through and the harsh chemical opening is smoothed out. Still not the biggest fan of this DNA but it’s not the worst thing I’ve ever smelled.

17/03/2025 :update after 4 months of not using it, yesterday i tried it again, i sprayed 2 shots. it has improved, i feel it smells smoother, after 30 minutes the smell becomes much more pleasant, really pleasant, the special thing is i sprayed it last night and until noon today i can still smell its pleasant faint scent, for 20$ it is really a bargain. 11/17/2024 :I just got it today, and I've never smelled the original, but this one smells like creamy coconut milk throughout. It lasts about 6 hours, and then the creaminess fades slightly, revealing a more prominent woody note. I find it leaning a bit feminine (I’m male, so I’m not sure if I like it yet). However, I’ve heard a lot about Middle Eastern perfumes needing time to “mature” after the first few sprays, allowing oxygen to enter the bottle and letting it sit for at least a month. I’ll update again after a month.

First impression: citrus floral wrapped around a 50 year old gym sock. If anyone has ever smelled a fresh-cut lily like they put in some floral arrangements.... that is the funkiness that pervades throughout the life of this fragrance. It does "level out" as it dries down. But, it ultimately turns into an earthy, green musk just like Lattafa Musk Mood and Safwaan L'autre Musk. I'll let it sit and marinate like the other hundred middle east clones I've bought and hope it becomes a better fragrance. I don't think the middle-eastern houses have very much interest in classic "White Musk" fragrances such as The Body Shoppe White Musk, Lake & Skye 11 11, or even the classic Jovan musks. At least I haven't found one... they all seem to be very animalic or contain oud.

Very citrusy scent. I was hoping for something that was a warmer, creamier vibe where the citrus would be more “caramelized”, I suppose, but this remains a little too bright for my liking as a skin scent. I do not own the OG so I can’t compare. I don’t detect any notes of berries, which is unfortunate. The combo of the citrus with the musk in this juice doesn’t seem to dance together very well - it just smells odd to me. Some might say this smells niche, but it’s a weird niche to my nose. Will be selling.

My first 'voted hate' fragrance on fragrantica because it literally gave me nausea .. smells like used baby diapers .. As someone who owns Musk Therapy i can safely say this is the worst impersonation i've come across .. it begins alright floral and musky but somewhere after the opening i don't know what went happened .. it became quite repulsive .. diapers .. is all im getting .. my god .. that is NOT it! .. i don't know if it's the quality of musk but absolutely not .. Fragrance World has bangers .. sadly enough this is NOT one of them ..

i get nothing but pickle juice...... ill wait a few months to see what the evolution will be... but im not getting my hopes up for this one

I bought it because I heard it was a very good dupe for Musk Therapy. Well, it is an ok musk scent but this is not a good dupe for MT. It has a similar opening but it doesn't evolve it stays linear and the musk is a little bit funky/dirty. Musk Therapy has a beautiful evolution that starts with bright citrus, almost like an orange creamsicle and then develops the heliotrope and magnolia, black currant sweet notes enveloped with a very clean, transparent, super nice musk. I have the hair perfume of MT but I am just going to buy the real deal. I need a full bottle of MT.

I got it because it’s supposed to be a dupe for musk therapy. I don’t think they are that similar. MT is much creamier, smoother, cleaner. Ivory musk is sharp and has a funkiness to it, almost like rotten fruit. Projection is very weak. Disappointing.

I really enjoy this scent and would say it’s very close to original PFDM. I have an extra new bottle of this, looking to trade for a new Liquid Brun, or Shaghaf VT/Azraq etc. Message me.
