Jack Of Clubs

I like this fragrance. My bottle is very sweet, especially after macerating a few weeks. If you’re not looking for a sweet fragrance, this isn’t for you. Opening reminds me of Turkish delight. The opening is very fruity with a subtle spice and zest, which probably comes from the bergamot and ginger. The dry down reveals more floral & woody notes, but the fruitiness and sweetness remain in a strong vanilla accord. I picture a scoop of vanilla ice cream after a visit to the barbershop. Daytime or casual date night scent for me. Never smelled Bleu Électrique, so I can’t compare. The only thing this has in common with La Nuit de L’homme is the strong cardamom note at the top; compared to this LNDLH becomes a dry powder bomb after like 5 minutes. Jack of Club’s performance is WAAAAAY better, and it stays sweet with a very pleasant sillage, which I kept picking up while working in the yard just now. My buddy complimented me on it the other night too. Update: have layered it with La Nuit de L’homme EDT to good effect.

This is a very light scent, overspraying was fine even in my humid climate. Performance is just moderate as well as projection. Layering on top of a DIY Molecule 01 (ISO-E Super, or Timbersilk) improves this a good degree. But just like YSL Bleu Electrique, the ISO-Super may lead to nose blindness at times. I don’t care about the opening most of fhe time as it quickly goes away in my humid climate. I’ve had 2 babies and I don’t smell any baby wipes :). The drydown is where this shines, woody and earthy and slightly creamy, definitely pour homme. I think this is a safe, mass-appealing fragrance. It reminds me of old YSL fragrances I had in the 90’s. * Update: I only liked this at first, but it has grown on me over time and I now love it. It must have matured better after over a month. I no longer consider it a light scent, just a few sprays is enough for its YSL magic to shine through. This is a hidden gem after all. Still moderate lasting, but easy to respray, or spray on clothing.

I got my bottle for $20. To me any fragrance at this pricepoint is a safe blind buy. If you don't like it, just give it away or use it as air freshener in your car... I have never smelled Bleu Electrique, but ifit smells/smelled like this, it should've stayed around. The spicy,ginger and citrus opening lasts about 20-30 minutes and then drys down to this lovely floral, woody scent. I'd say it projects at arms length for an hour or two. You cant really overspray this one. After a couple of hours either it becomes a skin scent or I go nose blind to the projection. In my experience people claim "doesn't last" its just nose blindness. It definitely happens to me. Litterally hours after I stop smelling whatever I'm wearing, and think its gone, I will recieve a compliment, or a breeze hits me just right and I smell it again for a second. Olfactory sense is so wierd. Jack of Cubs is a win for me. Now I want to try FW King and Ace!

I bought all the Blue Electrique clones. Personally as a guy I like this one the most. Ginger/Bergamot opening which is really addicting. I really like the sourness and lemon sweetness :) Performance is middle, projection is moderately low after it settles. All occasions non-offensive pleasantly clean lemon-scented. You can overspray without a problem on your skin. 8.7/10. Wish it was a 9 but it’s not as powerful as I want it to be. Clone comparison: It’s closer to La Nuit De L’Homme, however it still holds that lavender powdery feel but it’s not overwhelming like Caprise. I don’t like Caprise it’s vomit level baby powder I forced myself to enjoy it. Never could, also way to strong and projecting. Iconic nuit is I think the perfect and most balanced clone it’s the really well polished perfume good middle ground. Good projection and longevity. I recommend that one if you had the original.

Short comparison between Caprice & Jack of Clubs: Caprice is closer to Bleu Electrique as it is fresher but does come off sweeter to my nose. At the same time, Jack of Clubs is more of a hybrid melding both La Nuit De L'homme & Bleu Electrique. My opinion for those who are trying to decide between Caprice and Jack of Clubs. Caprice has a better opening and mid, but Jack of Clubs has a much better dry-down. However, I am someone who prefers La Nuit De L'homme over Bleu Electrique. Side note: For those interested, I took the dry down of both Caprice and Jack of Clubs, then asked three people which they enjoyed more, they all chose the Jack of Clubs.

I own both this and Bleu Electrique. They are 99.9% identical. I can't tell the difference at all. And my nose is pretty fucking good at this fragrance stuff. Worth pointing out though, that the differences between basic LNDL and BE are minor overall, so I'm not surprised to see people only comparing it to LNDL. I don't even bother with my bleu electrique anymore, I wear this as it has better longevity than the YSL. I'm not getting paid to write this shit, just being honest. Anyone that trashes this either has no experience with the real one, or just hates clones. Doesn't matter to me, just putting it out there. Good stuff for the price.

Disclaimer: I have not tried Bleu Electrique but I have compared Jack of Clubs on one hand to LNDL EDP side by side and I must say, the similarities are very impressive, Jack of Clubs is definitely in that DNA and is very nice, warm, spicy, slightly powdery even, though just a bit, the opening is pretty harsh, weird and synthetic but the drydown is where this perfume shines, they really are similar, I sadly did not find a tester bottle for Bleu Electrique but I can at the very least say that the DNA is copied very well on this one

My friend has told me that this smells really similar to his YSL La Nuit De L'homme which i don't own but for some reason i keep hearing it smells closer to bleu electrique. Regarldess of that though I think it smells phenomenal and it's a really nice clone of either the OG or Bleu Eletrique. Very suitable for a date night and extremely mass appealing, i've had a good few friends of mine say that it's very enjoyable to smell. You can also pick this up for less than 45 bucks so it's a great value for money. 8.5/10.

Let it sit for a bit! Maceration is key with this one! I was very disappointed a few weeks ago with the synthetic opening and the lack of performance as well as only faintly similar to YSL...Fast forward 3 weeks after giving it a moment to chill...still has a synthetic opening but the performance and overall profile has improved significantly! I got a couple compliments tonight as well and was asked what I was wearing. Good juice at a great price! Let it Macerate!

This smells like a clean, powdery baby powder. It has a floral and sweet note that I am having trouble detecting, but the sweet note reminds me of chocolate. I do not get any woody or spicy scent profiles as depicted. I have had this for two months and it hasn't changed. I like this, but it does not smell like YSL in my opinion. I only paid $20, and it smells nice, but it is not a head turner. It's a safe go to. 7/10. I think is is unisex.

I was so lucky to find this and pick it up for a very good price. This was performing very well considering it was the first sprays from the bottle. Such a nice smell. I couldn’t help to think what the original LNDL smelled like and even Blue Electrique. I will let this one sit for 6 months and return to it and I know I will not be disappointed. On my skin this handled itself like a good designer fragrance. For now I will give this a 8/10

@eddykop agreed on the "this is more towards to the original, not bleu eletricque". BTW, I got a 2013 LNDL bottle (2nd formulation), and can say this is even closer to those first formulations of La Nuit. Maybe an attempt to clone early formulations of nowadays diluted or modified scents? Intentional or not, this one ended up working very well on that purpose.

I'm pleased with this one. Since the discontinuation of LNDL BE I'm eager to find a good replacement. This probably will do the job. On my skin the opening is very bergamot heavy, which I don't really like but after it settles it becomes a really nice scent, close to LNDL. Longetivity is also great. Happy with the purchase.

Alternative to BE. Nice presentation with a deck of cards inside the box behind the bottle. Simple bottle with a Jack cap. BE opens more aromatic and fresher, Jack doesn't give you the blast of cardamon you get from BE and Caprice. But it's still pretty damn similar. Lovely BE and LnDL dna.

Very well blended. I can pick up on lavender and cardamom for sure, but the others are blended in so smooth that I can't pick out those notes. Wonderful scent that doesn't choke you out and lasts. A very pleasant soothing scent.

Is it me? Or does this perfume lean way more fem? It's like spicy baby powder. I'd love to smell this on a woman. But this ain't for a man like me dog. Update: it's grown on me. I'm keeping it for the time being. Weak sauce tho

A much better take on the OG than Guess Seductive Homme Blue and last way longer. Similar powdery vibes in the drydown than F Black so stay away if you don't enjoy powdery fragrances.

Really enjoying this fragrance after leaving it a while. I wonder it will even get beter in the future. The scent is really good. I love the powdery aspect of it.

Compliments? Who’s noticing — werewolves? K9 units? I just don’t see it. I grabbed it because I had Ace and King. DL Ohm Electric? Never my jam. YSL? Meh. Tux? Only after it got a dupe that actually lasted. Cheap dupes used to be ignored... now I can’t stop collecting them. This one? Smells just like the original, performs just like the original — which isn’t much. Baby powder vibes, intimate, quiet. Frag World nailed the scent, just not the power. French Avenue? Might need a performance upgrade. Most of their offerings smell great... then disappear into thin air. Neroli Riviera is an exception, but only for a little while. This one stays personal. Close. Whispering, not shouting. And it sneaks off while nobody is watching.

Pretty decent, it indeed has that oily wood feeling like some have said before but its still a good scent, not as powdery or strong as the al nashama caprice, but caprice does not have that oily wood sensation, personally I prefer caprice, kind of a bummer i got the full bottle of jack of clubs and a decant of caprice and not vice versa But, my issue with this perfume is that its longevity and performance aint that good and i have this bottle for over 2 months already so its not about maturation and all that stuff scent is like 8/10, longevity is 6/10, projection is 5/10 but i can find a tester for like 16$ and for this price its good and you can overspray all day But if you see it for 35$-40$, skip 100%

Nose Note #827 I wasn't so impressed with Al Nashama Caprice, but this one is really nice. Too bad my decant of Nashama run out a year ago. Nashama didn't have exceptional longevity, neither does Jack of Clubs, but it's more than moderate for sure. The scent itself is hard to describe. It's not a realistic scent, you can kind of pick out cardamom and lavender, but the whole composition is distinctly like a mass-market product so to speak, at least to my nose. I used to have YSL La Nuit de l'Homme and these two are sort of similar, but La Nuit de l'Homme was more mature and sexier. Jack of Clubs is more blue. 7.4/10, most people will find this very appealing

A blind buy for the Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Électrique clone, the bottle and the cap, and the deck of cards - nice touch. The scent is not a WOW but an OK one for me, it does feel dated yet mature enough, with cardamom and floral ginger in the beginning, that soothes into a somewhat of a baby powder / wipe (why do babies grow up soo quickly - insert sad face) or aromatic soap (both pleasant if you like that scent profile) smell, and dries to easy on the nose lavender and vetiver vibe. Have not smelled the YSLBE but now I know what it may smell like since this had been mentioned to be close - overall pleased with the purchase.

I have purchased many Fragrance World perfumes. All of them last about the same, two to three hours, primarily sprayed on my skin. Jack of Clubs has a nice sweet smell, bit of wood in the back ground--yes a tad bit like baby oil but leaning on trying to be wood. I like it. It's masculine leaning, makes me inhale. Like most Fragrance World perfumes (on my body) it requires about 15 sprays for torsoe, neck, top and bottom of arms, a couple spritzes on my shirt. I consider it a good scent but something I expect to reapply a second or third time .

Not a bad fragrance honestly, I keep coming back to it cause the smell is so addicting, it’s a very sexy, powdery gentleman’s type of scent. Won’t be repurchasing but I’ll wear it from time to time. Writing this 3 weeks later (6/5/25) so the fragrance grew on me a lot. performance is average, 2-3 hours of projection, and lasts around 7hrs. so far 4 compliments at work. Not blind buy safe, but if you're feeling curious check, it out. Bought mine for around 24$ so...

Got this yesterday and honestly it is good just a little basic but if that's what u looking then that's good. The baby wipes smell is lowkey strong so don't be disappointed if you get this fragrance and smell that. I will let this mature over time and I must still test the performance but so far projection is definitely decent like a good decent. 8/10. Solid dumb reach fragrence.🔥

A fairly accurate but a softer version of Bleu Électrique, and less lavender. If you thought Bleu Électrique was too strong and too Lavender forward, then this will work for you. It's pretty average across the board in terms of projection, performance and sillage when compared to the original. But because of this, it makes it more versatile it most situations.

I have both. This gets you close enough to YSLBE. If you are curious about differences, BE opens a bit punchier and has a bit darker vibe. Jack of Clubs opens closer to BE’s dry down. Longevity and projection are average. Good for fall to spring...most occasions. If you like the line, you will like this. With BE being discontinued, it is good that this exists.

I bought this perfume with around 40ml left in it from a local shop so it probably had time to macerate when you first spray it the scent is kind of weird not bad just unexpected but once it settles down it turns into something soft and powdery kind of like makeup and have some nice sweetness it’s actually a really nice smell 7.4/10

Got samples of both this and Al Nashama Caprice. The underlying scent is obviously the same, but in my opinion this opens a bit more bitter and citric, while Caprice opens more of the Cardamom + Lavender combined, and it’s much sweeter overall. If you like Terre d’Hermes and lavender you’ll likely really like this one.

Generic men’s cologne done right. This is absolute heat. I’d recommend it for the average Joe compared to something like sauvage. Classy but not overbearing with a touch of sweetness. Kinda has the baby powder vibes but much better then meteore in that aspect

The feeling I get is like when you get a haircut and you feel clean, aromatic and powdery. Barber shop vibes 💯

Maybe it's just my skin doesn't react with it well. The scent is great but it completely disappears within half an hour. Compared to other summer fragrances I've owned, the lacking longevity for me is a downer. Was pretty excited to own the fragrance since it was making rounds as a really good lndlbe clone, and smell wise, it is great. Sad to see the lack of performance for my skin.

I suppose you get what you pay for. It smells fine. It might be reminiscent of La Nuit De L'homme but it smells closer to a dryer sheet or detergent. You do not get the rich incense-like undertones. Inexpensive smelling. Not a replacement for the reasonably priced YSL. You can get a 3.x oz. bottle of the YSL for about $65. Yes it's more, but it smells better and performs better.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but to me this fragrance smells like fresh baby wipes. I let my bottle sit for a while but the scent never changed, so I got rid of it. Performance was okay.

I was disappointed last long but seems like a skin sent after 30ish mins smells good tho

I really liked this when I first got it and saw a lot of potential in it. I have revisited it on multiple occasions in the last 5 or 6 months and it gets further and further from Bleu Electrique every time I smell it. The opening has the ginger zing that other clones miss, after that there are some similarities to older formulation LNDH, very smokey, but there's a terrible synthetic/chemical screechyness to this when you smell it closely. I much prefer Al Nashama Caprice and Iconic Nuit. I would take ANC in the cooler months, as it has a rich amber sweetness in the base, IN is much fresher and is extremely close to Bleu Electrique, but misses the opening, which is the only part I give JoC props for recreating. I would skip this one unless you are looking for a more vintage LNDH smell and don't mind saving a few bucks to look past the chemical weirdness. ANC and IN are both far superior to this IMHO. 6/10

I have both this, and Bleu Electrique, and I already had it for more than 3 months, nothing really changed after the first 3 days for me.(At first it was pretty F ing horrible but after 3 days it is bearable, then it becomes consistent) The similarity is there, but honestly, not good enough to be used. While being similar, this fragrance has a weird woody synthetic scent that somehow smells like a oily layer ON TOP of the similar parts, with this, it completely fails to replicate the clean spice+sweet from the original bleu electrique. If I need to smell sexy and I wanna get as close as possible to Bleu Eletrique, I would just use LNDL EDT at this point(after trying out the most popular bleu electrique clones, none of those is better).

Any father can attest, Jack of Clubs smells exactly like baby wipes. Even after my bottle has matured for nearly a year, it's still straight up baby wipes. It doesn't smell bad. It's clean, fresh and powdery. It's perfectly fine if you want to smell like a baby. I don't. My diaper changing days are over. All fathers are familiar with this smell.

I think I have to toss my hat in with Simbathedoodle's review because that is almost similar to what I'm experiencing. Unless we both got bottles from a bad batch, I get absolutely nothing from my bottle but a very, very faint powdery smell. I suppose this could make for a decent base layer for something else you didn't want to overspray maybe?

I have not smelled the LNDL fragrances this is supposed to smell similar to, but it smells like a powdery grandma perfume to me. I might need to let it macerate for longer, was only sitting on my counter for a week. As of now, I’m thinking about giving it to my mother in law.

Fellas, let this one macerate. It took about a month, but it's much better than when I initially got it. The opening was harsh and screechy at first and the notes just didn't line up properly. It's been about a month since I got it and it's very smooth compared to then.
