Just Anabi

If you're looking for a Born Screaming dupe: I actually bought this after @sziszo below compared it to Toskovat Born Screaming. Born Screaming is one of my favorite perfumes, so I was happy to find Just Anabi on sale for $10. While it is not at all the same as Born Screaming, they are definitely comparable. I would say Just Anabi is somewhere around 70% of what Born Screaming is. Just Anabi feels like the daytime version of Born Screaming, even though I wear both of these any time of day. But I love having the lighter option that Just Anabi is! Born Screaming is richer and deeper and has a heavier "dusty old furniture" scent, while Just Anabi only has about 30% of that same "dusty", smoky aroma, and a slightly fresher cherry. Just Anabi compared to Lost Cherry and Cherry Smoke by Tom Ford: Personally, I don't see it, or rather smell it, at all. Although that might just be my nose. Lost Cherry and Cherry Smoke are very, very vague skin scents to me, and Cherry Smoke I can almost not smell at all. Lost Cherry, or at least the little I actually can smell of it, smells nothing like Just Anabi. It's a completely different cherry profile, while Just Anabi is just a classic, straight up grown-up synthetic candy cherry. Just Anabi is a dry, but succulent and juicy, slightly tart cherry that feels mature and grown up while also youthful. I would range it as a, not heavy, but 'heavier' parfume. Definitely a must for any cherry loving goth women and metalheads out there. I know I got a super deal on this perfume, but at it's normal price point I feel this is still a definite steal if you're into darker cherry fragrances. I find the bottle absolutely horrible though. Not a fan of the aesthetic, and it feels big and clunky to hold and use. Will definitely rebottle it.

This is rapidly becoming one of my favorite scents ever. I initially bought this for my husband because I thought the leather and smoke would smell good on him. However, his skin pulls the wood and leather out much more strongly with a twinge of smoke. On me, I get more of the sweet cherry incense, but the woody, floral, leather notes are still there in the background. I love it... So its mine now. It's mysterious and intoxicating, like a riddle posed by a sphinx. I wouldn't say it develops over time as much as it just has an interesting mix of scents swirling around at all times. It is long lasting and projects farther than an arm initially, slowly becoming more intimate over time. Great value, great buy.

Incredibly sexy smoky cherry that smells delicious on my Hubby. I'd wear it too, it's unisex, but I love it on him. Projects well (but not beastly) and I can still smell it on him when he gets home from work. I love it.

The initial spray will deliver you a blast of nice dark and slightly dried black cherry in pair with smooth saffron. The saffron is not sharp, but its definitelly there and plays one of the main roles here. The cherry note quickly becomes less potent and that's when you'll get that leather and slight smokiness with a touch of nice woodyness. Smelling the fragrance up-close will give you a very slight cherry with leather and dark saffron, however what I mainly love about this fragrance is the sillage. In the air you'll get that airy yet intense black cherry combined with some woods, leather, saffron. And in the very drydown I personally pick up a gorgeous dark and creamy sandalwood note, which i can't really smell in the OG. The overal composition feels dense, dark but airy. The longevity is decent, around 7 hours. The sillage is really good, it's not necessarily a "punch in the nose" fragrance but in the air it feels very sophisticated and not overly loud yet noticable.

Nice smoky cherry scent. Definitely smoky. Unisex. Great as a mysterious and sexy men's scent. Also great as a feminine goth scent (another great goth scent would be Tom Ford Noir de Noir or the clone Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Woman). Update: This fragrance lacks body. It has no heft. It smells thin. It's not satiating. Layer a vanilla fragrance underneath this, like Kayali Vanilla 28, which will give this fragrance some body.

The cherry in this makes my mouth water; like a boozy, smoky cherry bakewell with smooth incense. I don't detect leather. Unisex, long lasting for about 6 hours. Fantastic cheapie.

My co-worker told me it reminded her of Dr. Pepper, which I agree with. For the sillage and longevity, the price is pretty good. Too heavy for the heat, but you do you.

Intoxicating tart cherry incense with notes of leather. Smells amazing and has decent performance. A fantastic cheapie.

Spraying on a tester this is incredibly similar to both Cherry Smoke by Tom Ford (though simpler than that one) and Lattafa’s 1505 (which I actually prefer over the Tom Ford). This one has a brighter cherry opening than both of the other fragrances, but still has a woody, leathery, smoky profile. Interestingly enough, on my skin this isn’t what this fragrance smells like at all. I just sprayed one arm with 1505 and one with this perfume to compare as they dry down. This fragrance only smells like wood on my skin. I can smell the cedar, vertiver, and Cypriol that are in this fragrances base, a combination of wood and pencil shavings. As it dries down I get a little of the osmanthus and smoke. The cherry, fruity scent is the very last thing to come through on me and it’s more subtle, not cloying or nauseating at all. That being said, there have been fragrances that I find just do not cooperate with my body’s chemistry. There’s been a time or two where I’ve tried something with nothing in the notes to indicate it but it somehow still turns to powdery on me instead of say, woody. I think this probably smells lovely on the majority of people, especially going based on other reviews, and I may keep it with the understanding that it won’t smell like 1505 on me, but most likely I’m going to sell the bottle because I don’t see myself reaching for it again.

Not a bad fragrance but 1505 from Lattafa is much better. Straight out the box, 1505 beats this. Compared to Lattafa's version, this one has the cherry in the background, behind the smoke and the woods and everything feels like all the notes were thrown in a blender and you smell the final mix, while Lattafa has the cherry in the front and it feels... how can I put it... like the cherry stands on its own, very defined in contrast with the other notes of the fragrance which also feel defined but the cherry is the leading character in 1505. Anabi smells like a cherry flavored incense stick, and not in the best sense. meh/10

here just like lush cherry, i get a weird plasticky burned note that i cannot stand, and this scent is darker and earthier than that scent in general. others around me loved it, but i think my nose cannot perceive what others can.

Today is 10/17/24 and it’s a cooler day here in NY I felt today to be a great day to rock Just Anabi. I want to see this get talked about more often. This is a wonderfully nuanced cherry scent i find it unisex definitely leaning more masculine. The smoke and leather and saffron truly accentuate the cherry in a way that makes this perfect as a cozy intimate scent and something well suited for the colder months of the year. While this works as a standalone, it can also be layered with any of your gourmands in your collection or for my guys who want to add a Smoky cherry nuance to their bangers like Aventus, Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel etc. I love it! Fragrance World has a banger here!

This one is what I call a “unisexy” frag—it smells gorgeous on me and on my hubby, but our body chemistries bring out different nuances that make it fantastic on us both. It’s a deep cherry/dark wood/smoke/leather fragrance that has a sweet and floral aspect on me, but comes across more spicy and woody on him. It’s in the vein of fragrances like Spicebomb, Lost Cherry, Khamrah Dukhan, Mashrabya, etc: a touch sweet but not gourmand, darkly elegant. Highly recommend if that’s your vibe.

to me it smells EXACTLY like born screaming by toskovat, but not as strong. opens with a very synthetic smelling cherry, then comes a sort of burnt plastic smell that turns into an almost incense-like smokey scent. to me it smells nothing like cherry smoke, i only get this cloying, cheap scent of synthetic cherry.

amazing fragrance, definitely the same vibes of lost cherry tom ford, but I like just anabi more as I feel smoke more. definitely leaving it couple of months will change it to be something amazing and more long lasting

smells similar to tom ford lost cherry but its softer but more like tom ford cherry smoke , leans masculine. 7/10

Fake cherry cough syrup and oud... weak on skin and just too fake cherry smelling... yuk
