Just Aswad

Way, way, way better than Assad. I think Aswad gets downvoted by peopel working for Lattafa lol (3.7 currently, definitely not worth this extremely low rating) . Smells great RIGHT from the start, rare for clone fragrances. It lasts a lot, way closer to DSE (which is now weaker btw, perhaps to survive the first sniff after the initial spray in the perfume shop battle - unfortunately). It lasts a lot but it's not a "beast". Projection is rather good. Lattafa Assad even after a year is a chemical mess and I wonder why I had kept on wearing this, by comparing it now to Aswad. Maybe I was influneced by all those YouTubers praising it while the original was hard to get. It's either perfume youtubers getting more quality bottles for free (who knows, even with a mix of the cloned perfume in it, but that's just me) or they get benefits for their reviews. Aswad unfortunately is not loud in cold weather (talking about minus degrees to 4 degrees Celcius). If you want a cheapie for the very cold weather on the other hand, I have a new favourite now, Detour Noir Intense, a dupe of Pegasus Exclusif, although this is another direction. If you won't be using it in very cold climates Aswad is the one to get. And don't forget, better spray all these clones on your clothes: They last more this way and chemical based clones sometimes don't quite manage the right balance when sprayed on your skin.

Not a dupe of Asad despite the name, which might be there to confuse some into thinking they bought Asad. In terms of smell, it's more closer to Sauvage Elixir than Asad, since Asad comes with a twist and smelling each side by side, the oils used in Just Aswad seem to be a tad higher quality than Asad. What to choose? If you're tired of the default smell of Sauvage Elixir and need something extra, go with Asad, otherwise buy Just Aswad.

Gonna let it sit for a week. At first, the spray didn't hit me like the Sauvage Elixir I remember, but the drydown was cool. Edit: after about 3 days, it's getting better and I'm digging it more. 9/10. Edit 2: fully macerated, this is now a fave, 10/10! and those comments above and below me about performance? total BS, they're gatekeeping. this stuff lasts forever!!!!!!!!

I don't get the hate this fragrance is getting. Yes, it's a cheeky move to piggyback on Asad's popularity but from the very first spray this smells much closer to Sauvage elixir than Asad and I love it for that! The performance isn't great at the moment and I have left it to macerate and see if that improves but I like the fragrance as it is honestly.

Wow people really hating because it copied asads design but this actually nails the Sauvage Elixir profile, only clone I’ve found that can replicate the licorice properly. Still lasts 7-8 on skin. 24+ on clothes

Atomic performance. I literally can't wash it off my skin with multiple winces with soap. It smells high quality too. For just about 11$ the fragrance is as good as it gets...

Got my bottle finally, it smells exact, without even macerating it. The only problem is performance, but that will definitely improve within the first few weeks.

MUCH better clone that Asad. Very similar to Elixir. Not as strong...but its pretty authentic

Smells more similar to Sauvage Elixir than Asad

Compared to Asad, Just Aswad is closer to Sauvage Elixir because it has a little more licorice sweetness and less vanilla. Both are very similar but I see the Fragance World perfume with better quality of materials. If I were to choose between this one and Asad, I would undoubtedly choose this one. Performance is also slightly higher than the lower value, it's worth it.

Just go with emper save elixir or lattafa asad This one smells and project nice for 1 hour, but the longevity is weak (1-2 hour max).

Nose Note #703 After Ahmed Al Maghribi Ighra'a I'm really not impressed. I'm getting similar vibes as in Asad, but judging only from memory is a poor judgement. Feels somewhat more watery than Asad. DNA is there, but I feel like it's lacking the umph, the meat. Thankfully, now I know that Ighra'a is all I need. I can't imagine that any other clone will satisfy me more. 8/10, good, but it pales in comparison to Ighra'a UPD: Gone through 50ml bottle. I changed my mind completely. It's terrible. On par with Zimaya Khafaya Blue at being the worst Sauvage Elixir dupe. The worst thing is performance. It behaves strangely. It can last on some clothes, but overall I'd say the performance is weak, 1-2 hours peak. The most experience you actually get is not more than 30 minutes, after that it's almost gone. And the scent itself smells terribly cheap. 5/10, done and over...

Bought a tester hoping it would perform as good as people claim it to be. But I'm left feeling disappointed. Gonna let this one sit on the shelf for a while and see how it turns out.

I'll just say let your bottle macerate for a month if you feel like its under performing.

smells 90% like DSE, but impressive how weak this fragrance is. pointless purchase

By far the best Dior Elixir inspiration, and I have the Lattafa, Atralia, Khadlaj and the Al Haramain ones, and both Zimaya fragrances, at least in terms of similarity to the original. It differs from Asad that this one leans more toward the vanilla, similar to Gaith by Khadlaj. Amazonas Drift by Atralia is fresher and lasts less , and Azlan Oud Blue is the second closest to the OG but costs three times more than JAswad. And I don ́t care if it ́s a clone of a clone (btw its not), Fragrance World has done a extraordinary work with this juice. Lasts 8 hours on my skin and around 2,5 hours of slightly above average projection, absolutely a steal for the price. @Zigzag I agree with you, some Lattafa workers may be around :-) :-)

It's alright, haven't worn it out yet. Been maturating it for about 2 weeks now. Sprayed it on when i got it. Off rip, it was pretty good, lasted about 6hrs on skin and clothes till next day. It projects moderately for about a couple of hours. Not the biggest fan of the dna but it's pretty smooth for a cheapie. Idk where to wear this, i work from home and the clothes i wear everywhere are 99% street-casual. This feels like a classy event kinda thing. Also, this gets touted as an evening winter fall scent, but i think you can day time or spring this because there's a bit of aromatic freshness to this. Idk. Maybe after a month or 2 I'll get why.

Just cracked open a new bottle of this and I think it smells better than asad but it’s still very weak like I only get half an hour out of this and that’s with a couple sprays like five sprays I just put it back in the box and stuck it under my bathroom sink and I’ll let it sit there for a month or two I’ll pull it back out and see what happens
