Just Lychee

What a letdown! I bought it, and the opening is sparkly lychee, sweet and warm, but all that dies in under 30 minutes, and after an hour, it's a powdery rose candy smell. But I suppose fruity notes never stay too long, but argh, the opening is so good you cannot not be disappointed by the dry down. I closed the bottle and tucked it away to macerate for mid-summer or something. I doubt this would survive any cold weather. I'm actually quite sad lol because I love it, but it's giving me very little to work with. Update: after two/three months, it has settled and sweetened ever so slightly. It's a realistic lychee scent and dries down to a powdery lychee rose scent. It's my favourite lychee scent I've tried so far, as it now retains more of its qualities in the dry down.

Nice juicy fragrance. I prefer Khair fusion over this.

I received this as a gift for Christmas, living in a colder climate it was not my preferred winter scent. As with all my Arabian perfumes I sprayed out about 8 - 12 sprays and tucked it away for spring. I recently pulled it out as the weather is finally warming up and I was in the mood for something lighter, fresher and pretty. I am somewhat disappointed in how this sits on my skin. I really don't get any lychee, the name of the actual fragrance, or fruity notes at all. This immediately goes to a watery but also heavy, rose scent. At least on my skin this stays pretty linear and ROSE for about two hours, then it fades away to nothing. I don't sense any vanilla or moss, perhaps a little of the typical Arabian musk, the dry down, what little there was, continued to be roses. I own both Khair Fusion and Mayar, I can see how they may be a remind me of, but both of those are vastly different to my nose than Just Lychee. Fusion is juicy and bright with tangy fruit, some light florals pull on my skin as well which makes it feel less juvenile to me but it is still white gummy bear territory in the best way possible. Mayar is lighter, fresher and less dense with the floral composition. Mayar pulls lightly berry forward with airy floral in the background. If I were to rate the three; 1 - Khair Fusion 2 - Mayar 3 - Just Lychee Personally I don't love a rose heavy fragrance on myself, I like rose in a composition, especially if it has other aspects that make it interesting, but just rose does not suit me personally.
