Optimystic Her

If you like Burberry Her Elixir, you’ll enjoy this one. They’re extremely similar, though I’d say Elixir has a bit more of a fruity note, more of that raspberry scent. However, this one’s really good too. 80% match in my opinion. It’s also a little bit deeper than Elixir with the slightly weaker fruity note, more of a champagne or sparkling soda vibe. I’ve smelled the regular Burberry Her and I’ll say this one’s closer to the Elixir. I’m definitely not getting the “shampoo” vibe others are saying, but everyone’s nose is different. I really love this perfume and it’s super affordable as well. It lasts really long too.

I'm a certified #1 fan of this perfume. It's sooo good. I won't compare it to Her because everyone has already done that. I'll just share what it smells like to me: very strong 12 hr + fragrance that is super sweet but there's a fresh tinge to it. The patchouli is strong and I love patchouli. It's very musky. I needed to let it sit for a few weeks before I started to like it. It's everything I love in a fragrance. I wear it to the gym and can only use a couple sprays or I'm choked out!

Beautiful fragrance from spray #1. The berries show up, but don’t blur the florals( Violet, Jasmin) This scent IS quite similar to Burberry’s own. Three (3)hours after 2 sprays, I’m still getting compliments. The dry-down is feminine, & comforting (with cashmere/ sandalwood). FINALLY a signature-worthy perfume! ( The bottle is stunning, too )

I have this one and I think it’s like a cross between Burberry Her and Burberry Her Elixir as the ,,Baccarat factor’’ in this one is less pronounced than in the Her, but Optimystic is less creamy than the Elixir. Also it reminds me O de La Renta New York. It’s a good perfume with very good longevity and projection, no screechy notes or alcohol.. But with this scent i need pauses in using it as i get tired of wearing it. But I think the same would have been with the OG , as this scent profile in general is very sweet, so not an every day scent for me. The presentation of this fragrance is great - the box , the bottle made of heavy glass and the cup is metal. Looks more festive than the OG actually.

I’ve let this macerate for almost 2 years now. It smells like B her but waaaaay lower quality. I have to spray myself 40 times to get a decent sillage. B Her has very mild 540 vibes but this doesn’t have that at all. Just lots of fruit and lots of alcohol that drowns out the actual fragrance. I’ve tried to wear it multiple times just to make sure. It’s not even worth $10. I threw it away.

Nope, a cheap perfume trying very loosely to smell like Burberry Her (any version). It smells cheap, is not similar to the OG, thank god I got a decant and not the whole bottle... even the dry-down smells cheap. Not recommended, do not blind buy.

To the girls review below me (Melody Valentine) I bought this for my girlfriend cuz she loves Burberry Her Elixer. Then I saw a reviewer mention that Optimistic Her was a dupe for Burberry Her edt. So when I saw Burberry Her Elixer for a good price on ebay I got it for her for last Xmas. So we did a comparison side by side and this smells exactly 1:1 like Burberry Her Elixer. Now I don't know how close BHE and BH edt are but if this is a dupe of BH edt then they are very close, cuz it smells just like Burberry Her Elixer. Just sayin.

Basic, clean, girly, like herbal essences shampoo. A bit too floral for my gourmand-loving nose, I was hoping for more sweet and fruity, more amber, more sexy. Its very fresh and sparkly, like pink champagne. Similar vibe to Ralph by Ralph Lauren. Safe blind buy for a teenage girl. I recognise that it smells nice but it gives me a slight headache, I understand why people like it tho. It doesnt have that "cheap dupe" vibe, its purposeful and enjoyable, although projection is low.

Someone in a fragrance group I'm in on Facebook posted about this yesterday saying it's a spot on dupe for Burberry Her. I've got loads of Fragrance World perfumes and they're all amazing so I trust her that this is too. I already have Her and Rave Now Women as a dupe for Burberry Her Elixir so I won't be getting this, but just thought I'd say what I'd heard about it.
