Oud Nuclear

Don’t let the hyperbolic name fool you—Oud Nuclear is a bit of a "paper tiger," but in the best way possible. While the branding implies some sort of atomic powerhouse, the reality is a much more sophisticated, smooth, and wearable leather fragrance that feels like an absolute steal at this price point. The opening does have a bit of a roar; that initial oud accord hits with a sharp, petrol-like edge that might make you hesitate for a second. However, it almost immediately transforms into a gentle, plush leather wrapped in white florals. The secret weapon here is the cardamom and white floral notes; they give the oud and leather a smooth, milky, and soft texture that feels both opulent and incredibly comforting. Structurally, this feels like a cousin to Tom Ford’s Ombré Leather. They share that same backbone of leather and patchouli, balanced by the floral softness of jasmine. Often, leather-heavy scents can ride roughshod over the more delicate notes, but Oud Nuclear keeps the floral heart center stage, preventing the composition from feeling too rugged or "dirty." In terms of performance, it isn't the "atomic" beast the name suggests. It’s sophisticated and present, but it won't clear a room. I find myself applying it liberally to really let those white florals bloom. If you're looking for an underrated, smooth leather that balances power with a creamy, floral edge, this is a brilliant, budget-friendly addition to any collection.

Firstly to all the haters on here, this is a site for reviewing, not trolling dupes. Shut up about the bottle. Get over it. Secondly i love this fragrance. Its about 85% close to the OG Oud Stallion only the leather notes are toned down and the fruit notes are amped up. It dries down sweeter than the original but it stands out. The longevity is good and stays on the skin for about 5-6 hours and on clothes 8-10. I got great compliments. Its not as eternal as the OG but its very close. I pondered if i was going to buy this and i tried it and left, went to work, gymed and after 8 hours i could still smell it and it turned into a sweet leather oud. i literally left the gym and back to the store to buy it. $59 aud for 80ml in comparison to the OG of 100ml which is $672 aud! I personally prefer Oud Nuclear due to the lighter leather and sweeter dry down. The OG is very heavy on the leather and can give you a headache. scent 8/10 performance 8/10 silage 7.5/10 a definite buy for the any Oud fans.

My cousin wore Oud Stallion around me, and I’m usually not an oud guy. It smelled so good I had to ask what he was wearing. The scent literally lingered in the house for almost a week after he left. I wasn’t about to spend $250+, so I took a $30 chance on Oud Nuclear. Lord have mercy... this is exactly what I was hoping for. Rich, luxurious oud that’s blended so well it has presence without being overpowering. I wanted to like Azzure Oud by French Avenue, but it was too much for my nose. Oud Nuclear is the one that made oud finally click for me. Real heater

Very good fragrance. Super close to oud stallion. Recreated that waxy oily oud from the oud stallion and oud marajuca very well. Maybe a bit less spicy than the og. Doesn’t smell cheap at all and projects pretty well

Close to the original just not as powerful. Fantastic value.. Just over spray it. Oud Stallion is the King. Just beautiful and beastly.. But if you're on a budget this will get the job done 👍

@moraritudor congrats to your nose for finding big difference between this and the OG. I am afraid though that we re talking about the nose of Pinocchio.

Very good smooth oud to my nose. I like this type of oud very much. Maceration makes the oud even smoother. Luckily I have smooth batch perhaps.

Very smooth oud. I like it compare to nishane mana. Mana is a little bit harsh but I still like it. Oud nuclear is better.

Nose Note #695 This doesn't not deserve the low score of 2.98. It has definitely been downvoted just because of the bottle design... I'm a sucker for Maison Crivelli oud series, but this one is my least favourite. They all smell kind of similar to me, but my most favourite are Cuir InfraRouge and Oud Maracuja and their clones. This one still smells like absolute class and it's insanely strong, stronger than Azzure Oud and Cocoa Morado and perhaps on par with Carnal Desire, but Carnal Desire is much easier to wear. The oud note is so unmistakably Crivelliesque. Everything aside from oud and leather is hard to distinguish, but it's such a beautiful and complex composition. Not a safe blind buy. And it's an acquired taste for sure. If you know you are into such things then try it. But I can't imagine how you can beat Cuir InfraRouge and Oud Maracuja. 7.5/10, good oud

Found this randomly at a friend’s place (he’s not even into fragrances), and for a moment I thought it was some new release — so I gave it a sniff. Not only is it a pretty awful perfume, but I quickly realized it’s a total ripoff of Oud Stallion. If you’re okay with smelling cheap, go for it... but it’s definitely not for me. Update: Just checked out the full list of fragrances from this brand. Look, I get being “inspired” or even copying a scent here and there — but these guys are straight-up stealing names and bottle designs. If you still choose to buy from them, you’re basically the fragrance version of the guy wearing a fake “Abibas” hoodie.

@nocrap elise I own three MC including the OG. I'm not a niche snob; my collection includes both high-end and affordable scents. But claiming this smells anything like the original shows a serious lack of experience. Aside from the name and a shameless attempt to copy it, there's zero similarity. Being able to recognize the quality of the OG doesn’t make me a snob, it just means I know what I’m smelling. If you can’t tell the difference, that’s on you. Keep hyping cheap, uninspired knockoffs if that’s your thing.

This is horrific. Smells awful, stays forever. Genuinely the worst thing I have ever smelled in my life. Burnt oud, burnt plastic, thought it might improve over time....it seemed even worse. The worst perfume I have ever bought, 1 out of 5 would be far to high for this beastly piece of garbage.

Does not smell very much like Oud Stallion. It smells cheaper, sweeter and spicier. Very similar to Qaaed al Shebab, or even like a toned down Outlands. The main differences to my nose are that It's got a piercing quality from synthetic saffron that the original lacks as well as a distracting sour/sweetness. Whereas the OG was very woody, leathery, with hints of the floral smoothing it out and a bit of nutmeg. Glorious! French Avenue's Azure Oud hit it out of the park with their rendition of the oud part that both Oud Maracuja and Oud Stallion share, being sister companies, I would have expected them to make the OS dupe too (Not fragrance world). It's not a bad fragrance of you have nothing else similar already! I have 2 or 3 that already smell just like this, so it turned out to be not a great buy for me. I was looking for that smooth osmanthus-supported leathery goodness and did not find it here. Hopefully my review gives you that much more good data in your consideration of purchasing Oud Nuclear.

@moraritudor: you should change your friends and it’s obvious you don’t own any Maison Crivelli scent, lest you would have recognized the bottles instantly. A wannabe niche snob without any perfume experience 😂 Oud Nuclear: surprisingly good quality, at the beginning, if you have sampled oud madness, you’re going to be underwhelmed because it is a more controlled experience but eventually, it gets to maturation and you see it is in the same fruity oud type that Maison Crivelli has helped bring to the fore. The perfume packs longevity straight from the pack, well blended and easy, I detect something nutty, like a nut that is not mainstream, overall a good olfactory experience and gets much better almost immediately. I think the idea was to create something not as effusive as Maison Crivelli but high on the fruits, basically a more mainstream version But oud madness is still the best: as it gives you a mainstream interpretation of oud maracujá
