Pepper So Spicy

#1719 in my “Tour de Fragrance” I Have a St. Hilare scent called “Oud Ultime” which contains no oud whatsoever. This “Pepper So Spicy” contains no pepper whatsoever (coriander is just not that peppery). I’ll never understand marketing guys who think customers won’t notice or be annoyed, if not angered, by a “bait-and-switch. But I don’t mind paying under $25 for a clone of Guerlain “Epices Volees.” I don’t mind at all. The combination of spices works for me. I don’t love Epices Volees, but I like it well enough to pay $25 for it. Dominant note here is clove, which I usually dislike, but it’s well balanced by the artemisia and the other spices and it works. I think this is versatile enough for any purpose. Very moderate EDT level performance. Not potent enough to offend anyone, but you’ll respray at lunch. Should work in the office or as date wear. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

absolutely love the scent, coming from a person who lives in a tropical Southeast Asia. it opens with an aromatic pepper scent, almost floral. the downside is the drydown, where it smells like cooking spices, not usually found in a mainstream fragrance character. I could say, in the drydown it will smell like Curry or Soto (indonesian soup). great top notes, but FW kinda messes the mid and base notes. it also happens the same to other fragrances in this FW's line of collection: Vanilla So Sweet and Fresh As Citrus. i never smell Pose As Rose, so i can't say about that perfume.

Soup fragrance. Thrilling notes in the heart. Peppery opening, spicy sillage. It is so bad, that would be perfect in some points. Not a bug but feature. Winter signature frag. Cooky character. This is the way that another bad "clone" become outstanding, almost niche fragrance after layering. UPD layering with STR8 original is fantastic. My vintage bottle is on the run again!

Very interesting. Not perfumey at all. Really smells like a spice rack, unfortunately doesn't last long but that will hopefully improve. I would call it an absolutely creative composition if it wasn't a clone, but kudos to them for copying these not so popular fragrances. The drydown brings Spicebomb to mind, but only its spicy backbone, without the rest of its notes.

Nice fragrance ,warm, since with pepper. So far not much longevity and projection is as length at most. I will see how it goes after sitting for a bit.
