This is a lifesaver after falling in love with Rose Incense but not having the $400 to drop on a perfume rn. It's a perfect dupe to me and it lasts all day.

Nose Note #615 Very strong rose note like Kenzo Flower (Al Rehab Red Rose). It's also similar to FW Abraaj Carmine, but with less pepper. Mind, this still has a lot of incense. It's rosy incense, just like OG Amouage fragrance is called - "Rose Incense". Smells very niche, very niche. Like something from Frederic Malle. Heavy dusty powdery rose with olibanum. Someone may like it, but this is too challenging for me. 5/10, rose incense...

A big rose opening and some smoke and resins in the background. The problem for me is that the rose is just too strong and takes over everything. In the drydown it's almost all I get, while the other notes fade away. It ends up feeling a bit old-fashioned. I'm not a huge rose fan anyway, so this one just isn't for me. 4/10

Straight out of the box, it smells like a slightly dank concrete/stone crypt with a mild-to-moderate dose of realistic wilted/dead roses (no jammy rose). Low wearability. Smells like something I'd wear on Halloween if I were dressed as a mummy. Not really pleasant to smell but it's not particularly unpleasant - it's just slightly unpleasant. It's best as a transportative fragrance to remind you of a crypt. Certainly not sexy. Even for a goth person, this would be a bit too odd to wear outside of Halloween because it isn't that pleasant to smell. I will await maturation. It's probably nothing like rose fragrances you've smelt before. Nothing like the following more wearable rose fragrances: Tom Ford Noir de Noir; MFK Oud Satin Mood; LV Ombre Nomade; Dior Oud Ispahan. It has maybe a faint 15% similarity to Dior Oud Ispahan because of the style of rose.

Smells like the Amouage it is supposed to dupe. Then again, my nose is not that refined, so if anyone can tell the subtle differences, I would be happy to read a review of that sort. It is a compliment magnet, heavy fragrance with huge lasting power. However, as someone noted on the Amouage page, it is something that can be approached by layering Lush's Rose Jam and a good olibanum solinote. Posh Alpha beats both Amouage and Lush in terms of pricing, so I can't help but recommend this!
