Full disclosure, I am a BIG fan of JPG LeMale Essence de Parfum - to which this is cloning. I haven’t owned the OG in years and now it’s discontinued, but from memory this nails the DNA. I obviously can’t comment if it’s a 1:1, but other than a sacrifice in longevity (I get about 6-7 hrs before it’s gone on my skin) and potentially a little smaller projection (again from memory, but either way this is not a beast), Posh Omega can step right in and take the place of my favourite Le Male flanker. The standard Le Male sweetness is here with that decadent creamy vanilla & crisp clean lavender, but instead of the standard mint it throws a big pop of cardamom and follows through with more warm spices. It just makes me so happy every time I give it a spray :D The leather is there in the opening, but makes itself more known in the mid. It’s not at all harsh or animalic, just rounds out the sweet & spicy accords with a soft almost powder-like leather. On arrival there was a harsh note in the opening, but in less than a month it’s nearly gone. Macerating is definitely a must to give this a proper judgement. Thankfully the atomizer is fantastic, blows away many designers. The bottle is boring but at least solid, although it is just an 80ml. I snagged this for only about $23 CDN, so it’s not like either of those minor complaints matter at all. The bang for your buck is so ridiculous, I almost want to buy a case and make sure I have a lifetime supply. Although I’m curious if 9pm Elixir would scratch this itch and potentially deliver more performance? Will have to wait and see, unless anyone has both that can speak to that?? A lot of people refer to scents like this as mature. Considering I’m in my fourties' I guess that’s a confirmation, but it’s still a Le Male and would fit in practically any environment other than the summer heat. The leather note definitely gives it that masculine edge, reminiscent of a biker jacket. If you’re young & want to be interesting, this would stand out against all the One million’s, Invictus’ & Le Male’s etc. while still ultimately being the same style of fragrance.

I have this, I've never smelled the OG, but I have heard they have done a decent job of recreating the DNA. I doubt this will be anywhere near as smooth. I got my bottle for something ridiculous like $14. I have tried it briefly on several occasions in the last six months I have owned it. It kind of reminds me of a very synthetic cousin of Memo Paris African Leather, but it's obviously also not nearly as nice. There's a punchy Cardamom opening, with notes of leather and vanilla, subtle lavander undertones. I don't want to give it a rating or any more of my insights until I have more time with it. I can definitely see some shades of the OG Le Male underneath. I will try and remember to give it a few wears over the next week or two and come back with my full thoughts.

Ordered a bottle from Amazon this week for $25. Batch 07/2022. Spicy, touch of leather, touch of sweetness. First week longevity is 7-8 hours. Projection is strong for the first few hours. Quality juice, especially for the price. Never tried LM Essence, so can't compare.

I just received it today from Amazon, everywhere else it's sold out, as I'm typing this I never smelled the original Le essence but I have smelled pretty much all the other JPG fragrances and from what I can gather first impressions, it smells pretty identical to the JPG DNA, you still get what I assume that lavender smell like you would get from le male or other colognes from their line, Idk whether I can say I like it or not, but it smells good, I just have to see where I can wear it and how long it lasts before giving any other opinions, But to summarize it gives off the same DNA like other male fragrances from the JPG line, and I'll take that for face value and say it most likely does smell like the discontinued le essence fragrance And yes it does smell good, I just don't know what the performance is like or the occasion is like at this moment

Wow! For such a ridiculously low price this has to be arguably my favourite clone. It was a blind buy after watching reviews claiming it was very close to the JPG discontinued fragrance. I purchased it and purchased another as it has a great scent which is long lasting too. Smell 10/10 Longevity 9/10
