Salted Caramel Artisan Perfumery

Great value for the price, HOWEVER it doesn't smell like caramel and is marketed(name, presentation, bla) quite unfortunately as a dupe for Bohoboco's Sea Salt Caramel. I'm only being mean because i blind buy some fragrances(because i'm a masochist that lives for a thrill) and this was one of them. I'm actually a fan of the smell, regardless of it's misleads in overall image of the product. What it smells like to my nose is Eden from Cacharel, with added davana and a less airy, sharper perception of the scent. Performance exceeds Eden's. I can't smell the wine, but there's violet note, almost grape-like. It really doesn't feel like salt or caramel or the sea. It feels like a jungle, like a hole in the forest floor filled to the brim with ylang and jasmine and smashed grapes and wet moss. You are situated in that hole, at the bottom, in almost darkness, looking up and seeing just flower, wood and plant matter above. The added sharpness here makes it similar to India Misteriosa by Mahogany, to my nose(my friend disagrees). Sea Salt Caramel is sweeter, more airy, and has a cleaner less wet, less earthy feel to it. That makes the OG easy to wear and like. Longevity and projection are similar with SSC: 8-9h on skin, projecting for the first 2-3h. Salted Caramel, in terms of gender, is unisex maybe leaning fem for my nose but this could be a bias for its striking similarity to Eden which is marketed towards women. If you like the scent profile this is signature worthy. A word of caution for the lovers of fruit-choulies like black opium girly scents, the clean freaks, the sensitive noses that thrive on citrus and aquatics: avoid this like the plague, it can and will torment you. Ok so the scent notes listed above are completely wrong. This is an interesting fragrance. It does open with a lovely sweet caramel; but then it morphes into something that feels lightly floral, a little powdery and weirdly clean; almost laundry clean. But I actually quite like it! Although I hate the bottle cap. It looks cool, but it’s a textural nightmare!

For me it's very male scent, I can't smell there carmel, rose or raspbery. The scent is very woody and herby. I didn't like it on myself.
