Suave Elixir

Close enough to sauvage elixir, but not as good as the OG, althouht its not listed.. I definitely smell lavender notes here its a super bargain for overall. (13$ on my country - Indonesia), Easy to wear, if you are a Man, you’ll easily like it

This is that speedstick sport green deodorant I wore when I was 14. I understand some folks love this and I don't want to denigrate that. This isn't my thing. Not to my personal taste generally. Doesn't mean it is a bad product. It just doesn't suit me. This is one of those man scents. Its not something I gravitate towards but was curious with all the hype. It's a bit toxic masculinity and stereotypical wodyspicy generic man perfume. I got a sample of Haltane recently as a promo and it reminded me of this. Ballpark similarity in effect. I'm not saying it stinks. I'm saying it isn't for me but I do understand people who adopt this type scent. This was 25$CAD on amazon. Blind buy. Comparing the notes listed here of Dior's and Salvo is already very different but this is a type of scent you will recognise as having smelled before but with a thicker foggier twist (elixir). Here's what one site lists as notes on Suave Elixir. Top: Bergamot Mandarin Heart: Viginia Cedar , Sandalwood Base: Vanilla absolute It's a warm spicy scent. A woody pine or cedar note. Amber buried underneath to give it that vanillic fog that might be cloying of you overspary and go "full douchebag after the gym ". I can make out the benzoin and some patchouli when I huff it on my wrist. It has a sharp balsamic note in there ... I don't regret this for 25$. It smells more refined than it's price. It's very brashly masculine. It's clubby for sure. There's a smokiness in there for sure. The initial spray goes on weird like the perfume is somehow old but that goes away in 10 minutes roughly. Then it dries down spicy manly thick in scent. When I first smelled it it evoked the green speed stick deodorant I used as a teen...that's my little "meh" factor in this one. To me it's mister everybody . A trick thats been done before and well done again. I don't want to knock a generous well made offering for the value. It comes down to personal taste in frags. It's a Like for me. It's not the type of scent I like but there are tasty elements that save the day for me. Mainly the amber vanilla undertone.
