Sui Generis

This comes really close to the Givenchy Society. Whenever I test Givenchy society, I really liked that banana like notes (yellow floral) from Narcissus flower which is very well blended with other aromatic notes. Coffee Note plays its part beautifully on the background. I really did get all those features in this FW dupe. It performs good on my skin too. So much underrated. This deserves a good spot in the wardrobe.

i have this ,amazing.Smells like the Og in the drydown,less powdery iris in the opening.very very similar and after a time it got stronger definitely wait with it,at first was super weak. Definitely some trolls rated this for the price its a steal u get almost identical with og.Never judge or rate before maceration process.

This is a new hidden gem from Fragrance world. Reminds me Axe / Lynx Dark Temptation chocolate smell. Projection and sillage is above average 8/10

I have no experience with the original, but I enjoy Givenchy fragrances, so I might come across a little biased in my review. However, the scent does remarkably well if we consider it as is. Undoubtedly, the fragrance follows the designer-esque approach, with notes being balanced and blended together flat so that everything is harmonious. Nonetheless, some notes do appear slightly louder than the others: the coffee, yellow flower, and orris. Thankfully, the orris is quite dry, so I imagine no one will have any problems with that. The other prominent part of Sui Generis is the woods combined with vanilla; this combo is quite masculine and adds just a touch of sweetness without being overly youthful. All these elements combine to create a solid, clean, and put-together scent featuring yellow florals and coffee, which keep things interesting. Despite going under the radar of TikTok dupe hype, it actually does smell good and deserves some appreciation. Another welcome aspect is that it does well without overdosing on cheap ambroxan and other molecules, unlike other dupes (often from the same house). Considering the price-to-smell ratio of Sui Generis, it can be regarded as a cheat code and a prime example of the fragrances that initially attracted people to dupes. On a side note, I was surprised to find that I have made a significant dent in this, despite owning a large collection of other fragrances. So I can wholeheartedly recommend getting a bottle.

Love the Gentleman Society EDP Extreme DNA, and I initially loved this. However, this does have an off-putting, lingering dullness which means it will never hit the heights of GGSEDPE, which is a shame but understandable > it is a fraction of the price! AND a fraction of the initials!

Nose Note #828 I don't know what to say. This is indeed very close to the Gentleman Society DNA which I am very indifferent to. I haven't come across the Extreme verion. The two leading notes are definately narcissus and coffee. Coffee is pretty strong. Some mint too. Performance is above average, but not quite "strong". Same with sillage. The OG Givenchy fragrances in my experience have more presence. Well... It's a unique scent and I wouldn't say it's for everybody. It could work all year round, but it's a bit too dense for summer. Smells like modern french high class mens fragrance. It does have a mass market touch to it (just like the OG Gentleman Society). It's high quality juice and most people will like it. It's not quite in my taste. 7.2/10, better than OK, but I'm not so enamoured with it

If it were $15–20, it would make sense Buy the original

Very similar to Cristiano Ronaldo Legacy (brown bottle) that came out 9 years before Givenchy.
