Suits is a powerful and sophisticated fragrance. It's an excellent musk-dominant blend of sweet, fresh, musk, vanilla, spice, wood, amber and floral aromas. The musk is sweet and clean and fresh, and while it's not the only note it is the most dominant one, making this a take or leave it proposition. If you enjoy the smell of musk and/or it brings up pleasant memories, by all means this is for you. If you associate musk with an older generation and feel it's out of date, this is not for you. I have no nostalgic memories or feelings either way, so I definitely enjoy this for what it is. This is an extremely well balanced fragrance, sweet and warm and long-lasting. It's got good performance, is unisex, and is great for older users. I don't think younger users will or should go for this, and it's not for those who dislike sweet fragrances regardless of how they feel about musk. It's a fantastic QPR value at its price, even beating out other clones in terms of price. Definitely worth your while and an easy recommend.

Hey YSL Tuxedo lovers — if you’re looking for a similar vibe or a budget-friendly alternative that carries about 80% of the OG DNA, then FW Suits (for under 27 dollars) is your top pick. And if you’re lucky, you can even grab it for 18–20 dollars during major sales. You’ll notice that there are plenty of fragrances borrowing the TXD DNA, but trust me: the ones people constantly hype up with slogans like ‘Oh, this is the perfect Tuxedo clone!’ all over short-video platforms are 90% marketing contracts. The remaining 10%? Those are the people who simply haven’t smelled FW Suits yet. I still blind-buy many releases from Fragrance World – French Avenue, and honestly, I haven’t regretted any of those experiences so far. But on the other hand, I’ve winced more than once with brand L — FW’s fellow hometown neighbor. I don’t know, maybe I’ve just been unlucky with that house. Longevity: 4–5 hours on skin and 6–7 hours on clothes — Note: this is in an office environment with air-conditioning between 20–25°C (sorry, we don’t use Fahrenheit here). Sillage: around 2 meters. I usually wear this for evening gatherings or late-afternoon events. It definitely works far better on men than on women. The truth is: many ladies absolutely love smelling this scent on their boyfriend.

Accords on fragrantica are totally inaccurate. Pretty accurate to the original, leans more towards the vanilla and amber side of tuxedo. kinda reminds me of bentley for men intense? Might be the amber sweetness. A bit odd since I don't like bfmi but defnitely like this DNA. Might be the booziness in bfmi that I'm not a fan of. At any rate still defnitely heavy on the patchouli, great dinner or especially a date night fragrance because it is definitely sweeter than other tuxedo clones like the tux or mustache, which imo go much heavier on the spices. Projection is moderate, I would say maybe a bit above average, but that's ideal for a dinner fragrance. I don't want to be eating my meal and all I can taste and smell is amber and vanilla and patchouli. Longevity is good, above average but not monumental. Both projection and longevity are better than any other tuxedo clone. New reformulations of Rochas Mustache have terrible performance, and tux isn't much better. The best tuxedo clone on the market right now, grab a bottle for sure. Fragrance world has done it again.

Let your bottle "maturate" for 2 to 3 months and the performance drastically improves as well as the smoothes and over all scent. I wore it when I took my mom to her doctors appointment, got complimented like 3 times there and then when we went to McDonalds and dined in, The 2 women sitting at a table near us kept saying how "someone in here smells so good", they then traced the scent to me and complimented me. This was all during the same day and quite a few hours after application. Suites smells ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and the "Maturation Results" are 100% worth waiting for! I almost got Maison Alhambra's The Tux bc if heard it had better performance, but now Im totally satisfied with Suites! It really is just such an amazing, delicate yet very attention grabbing scent! A 9 outta 10 scent considering costs, longevity and great dna. I even sorta like the bottle presentation!

I blind-bought this last week for $17 on Amazon, and yes, it's real. It was being sold by Fragrance World themselves. I'm pretty sure it macerated on its own, which saved me some time. The box smelt like old books that have been sitting on shelves for a decade though lol. On my 1st initial spray, it smelt like so much like alcohol. I would suggest to let it dry first, then smelling it. It is honestly an addicting smell. It smells very fresh, spicy, and masculine. Almost like you need an actual suit to pull it off. Ratings: Price = 10/10 Scent = 10/10 Bottle = 6/10 (basic) Longevity = 5-ish hrs Sillage = Average Overall: I honestly would recommend picking this up due to its price. The smell is way beyond its price. Great cheapie that smells like an expensive fragrance lol ironically. Overall I'd give this fragrance a 7.5 out of 10

I purchased this frag a little over a month ago and fell in love with it, it just has NO BUSINESS smelling this cllassy and high quality for the price! Now when I first got this, I used it and was a bit dissapointed at how light it was and also how quickly it seemed to fade away. I then put it away for about 5 or so weeks, revisited it last night and was really surprised at how much stronger is bacame and how much the longevity improved. I sprayed it on last night and this morning I still was easily able to pick it up on my shirt and skin, plus again, smelled more potent than before. Smells amazing, 9 outta 10 IMO. So glad I picked this up instead of one of the other clones.

I like this. Similar to Moustache. Just like Moustache, this one doesn't last long on me, either... 3-4 hours, tops. Masculine with light projection. Layered it with Terre d'Hermes to give it a little orange kick... but Lost Cherry and Bitter Peach would work well, also (as would Moustache) in addition to a number of other scents. Get creative using this as a layering base. Not much to say about this one, as I have a number of tobacco forward scents in my collection, and they all smell similar. Decent bang for the buck (under $20), so it's a good value... but it's not blowing my doors off. For all the hype the Tuxedo DNA gets, this one is just okay for me on my skin.

Fragrance Journal Entry #36 This fragrance was my first experience with "maceration". Straight out the box it's an all out piercing assault on your frontal lobe so i put it in time out for 2 months and it became noticeably better. The the sharpness had toned down and more vanilla started to appear but it still wasn't great and the performance was maybe 4-5h longevity with 1h projection. I let it sit for a total of 7 months and what i now have is a gorgeous patchouli/vanilla dominant fragrance with increased performance (7-8h). For $20 this is a steal and should absolutely be blind bought, just trust the process. Rating: 8.8/10 Blind Buy Safe? YES

Weird. I didn't like this perfume at first. I thought it was a bad blind buy. But it turned out to be my first "middle east" perfume to be run out after one year. I didn't notice about "maceration" but it actually got better with time. I live in a hot country but this suits almost all occasions, from gym to date - just not very hot days. Sweet but not that sweet. Many of my friends told me the opening smells like "tea". Maybe because of the violet and lily of the valley. Dry down is very good, vanilla-y and fresh at the same time. Girls like this. Longevity and projection are above average. 30$ well spent. Now, I gonna purchase another one.

So, I recieved Suites about 3 months ago, LOVED the scent, was NOT impressed with the performance/sillage. Havent worn it, so its been sitting in it's box those 3 months.. 💥POW💥. And now its a freakin' BEAST! I under-estimated it, used about 8 sprays bc I didn't think it had really changed that much, went over to my moms... Lets just say I had to back home and change my shirt😁. Smells much stronger, spicier, more vanillic, and last atleast 8 hours (if not more). I havent tried YSL's Tuxedo, but I'm more than happy with Suites. Man, this is a 7 outta 10 imo, and If ya can hold off and let this thing macerate, BOMB!

I don't have tuxedo, so this was a mysterious revelation. At first sniff I picked up green and spicy notes. (Violet, black pepper and coriander) that projects a medicinal vibe. No citrus, but picked it up after a few moments. After 20 minutes I then picked up a boozy vanilla, woody amber and Patchouli notes. Then, the dry down was a warm, slight spiced vanilla. The drydown reminds me of Eternal Oud by Lataffa. Very nice fragrance. It probably needs a few weeks of maturity to maximize full potential. The mature time will depend on the batch code production date.

Owned now for months but never worn till today so can't say what it was like months ago, but now, wow! Classy scent not all that complex, like the original but it's a designer with mass appeal, so I understand. This clone is really impressive and completely blind buy worthy for under $20. Under $20 makes me giggle because it feels like a steal. Anyway, this is sweet and ambery. I'm going to layer with either a leather or tobacco forward scent to give it more depth but as is this is fantastic.

I have Suits on one arm Alexandria Black Tie Affair on the other and Tuxedo on the arm of a guy friend. There are similarities to them all ad they are all beautiful, but after the alcohol burns off and everything settles down I prefer Suits. It really pops with my body chemistry. It is lovely. I have always like Tuxedo, but it always felt a little "off" on me. Suits has slight powdery sweetness that calms down the greenness. I really like it. $15 well spent!

This is straight class in bottle! I really like the warm spice and patchouli at the start, it's much different than most fragrances. Then when the vanilla with a hint of rose decide show themselves the heads begin to turn. I can't believe how close this gets to the OG for a fraction of the price. Keep in mind I had to let this mature for 3 months before perfection. Performance and projection are fantastic on my skin. (8.5/10)

This is a "post a bit of maceration" review. Longevity is solid and a truly close representation of the famous tuxedo. For the price it's very hard to turn down but it needs time to get to it full potential. If you're a 20+ bottle kinda guy I say go for it cause you can let it sit after a few sprays and see what I mean. Would easily reccomend for anyone trying to get a clone of tuxedo.

I never smelled Tuxedo, but this is a very nice and classy scent. Vanilla and spices formulated in a very pleasant, and easy to understand way. For my taste it's a bit too heavy on the vanilla, but it's inoffensive classy, and absolutely not something associated with sexual attraction (for me at least) so it's perfect for office work.

I really like the scent but there is something about this DNA that all of the clones share, even with the original - they don't perform that well. Skin scent after 2 hours. Even if you shower yourself with suits and kismet it just doesn't project that well after a while. I love it, but I really wish it would project and last better.

I bought this with fairly low expectations, because its price point. But wow. It is really pleasant. I would say it is more gentle than expected. I get vanilla on the opening rather than patchouli or anything confrontational. This is definitely going in my regular rotation. I get nothing medicinal like some reviews below mention.

Pretty spot on dupe of "Tuxedo" by YSL. Lasted about 4 hours when I first bought it. Now, almost a year later, it lasts about 10 hours and has a deeper, richer scent. I could smell it on my wrist even after sleeping. I never really bought in to the whole maceration thing, but now this anecdotal evidence has convinced me.

Tuxedo is one of my all-time favourites, and Suits copies it almost perfectly. I feel like it's a bit sweeter, which makes it more mass appealing. I bought it for £16 on Amazon. I feel like I need to let it sit for a while, and I'll update this on longevity and projection. But so far it seems really good.

I like it, especially for the opening - all bout patchouli. Then, it drydown to YSL Tuxedo but a bit more vanilla. Note breakdown above is totally wrong. For the price, I think "Suit" is a perfect choice for office use or even date nights. Performance is average.

I love Tuxedo. Which is exactly the Rose/Vanilla male centric scent I want to wear with a Tuxedo. Unfortunately it has such horrendous sillage and longevity for the price. This fixes it - full stop - 3’times the performance, fraction of the cost - that’s it...

I bought this fragrance 2 weeks ago and its relatively a fresh batch . I wore it on very first day and i was amazed by the performance. It was so loud and performed few hours as well . Usually the fragrances need maceration but this is a beast .

I haven’t smelled Tuxedo but here’s what i get from it. The opening reminds me a lot of La Nuit de Lhomme. That rose violet powdery opening, it also kind of gives of a cherry vibe.

Straight out the box is straight buns ngl, but spray it a bit and wait like 3-5 months and its nice as hell

Scent Description: Upon opening smells intensly of Vetiver and benzoin. Could mistake for some Terre Hermes flanker, very nice. Then the violet note appears. This makes the fragrance kinda tart and "green grassy" as some other people mentioned also with the iconic Violet leaf smell. If you ever had Sweedish Lakerol violet candy, this is kinda how it smells, so there is probably also some licorice notes. Unfortunately, I am not a huge fan of violet leaf note in perfumes, but here it's bearable. Still would prefer a substitute though. I have to say you can smell the ambroxan that kinda lika sea salty intense smell, really just like mine Ambrox Super from perfumersworld. After a while you can smell some kind of rose mixing with the tart acidic violet leaf and ambroxan, smells a whole lot like Moschino toyboy at this stage. (Maybe this is what other reviewers call chemical warfare smell) Then as it tones down more vanilla starts popping up, and the promised Patchouli too, but at the start this is not obvious. The violet leaf finally dies down while the rose stays and this stage is very nice. Occasion and Social - To be honest I am not sure "Suit is required" for this fragrance fits the bill. It is very similar to Bentley for men intense (about 70%), the violet leaf makes it feel like it's for very mature/old people, also reminds me of Dior Fahrenheit. That said, this is only violet leaf I can kinda get through, and it smells quite likeable and approachable. That said, I still think that this would work best in winter with some woolen brown coat, or some fuzzy looking clothes, maybe leather would work too. I also don't think it's very well suited for indoor use. For indoor use it kinda fits the vibe of opera house, not much else, which is probably where the suit association comes from. So yes, it is not very versatile fragrance and is suited for winter outdoor use or baal events. Person avatar: Frank Sinatra, Musician in a Jazz club, Random old USA congress officials. Conclusion: Unfortunately this is not for me as I still lean on the younger side. This violet leaf makes me feel like it's 50+ kinda fragrance. 6/10 (For me!) One of the first dupes I got years ago. I loved Tuxedo but the price tag is too much and the performance is horrendous. This is enough for me (coming from someone with 100+ bottles), it smells really similar. Its performance improved a lot once it sat for a few months. Great scent profile to add to your collection but if you're starting off new, maybe opt for something else in the mean time and come back to this one later. I agree with some comments that it isn't as complex or spicy but come on, what did you think for the price tag difference? Is it really worth it 200+ more to smell more complex/deeper for a bit? It doesn't add up. If it didn't smell close or smelled offending/cheap then I would understand but this is far from the case. In the air both smell lovely, if you spray both on one hand each and compare you will see difference but both will still smell lovely. BTW? apart from fragrance enthusiasts/influencers getting paid to promote products -> who sits their scrutinising their fragrance all day to individual notes? Did you not get them to enjoy them and wear them? 8.5/10

I own the OG and bought this version about two months ago to perhaps save what's left of my bottle. I bought this on sale for USD$20! I can say this is about 80% close to the original. It's just a bit sweeter and citrusy which isn't a bad thing if you like this. The quality of the ingredients is obviously not as high in comparison. I'll say this, you MUST let this mature for at least two months. When I first received this, it had a alcohol bite to it and was weak and watery. After two months, this really matured and became richer and more dense. The patchouli and vanilla started smooth out. Still not as good as Tuxedo but definitely worth the money spent even if you want to see if you like the DNA. Plus, you can use this and save a few sprays and make you appreciate how complex and quality the OG is.

I have this, and the original YSL Tuxedo ; of course the original has some more quality to it , but this costs around 20-30$, and is very very close to the original and seems to last longer? on my skin . I love this fragrance, it's so classy and rich feeling ; probably best suited for the winter / nights and fall . The amber is very prevalent, as well as a high quality vanilla note. This one is a no brainer if you like YSL Tuxedo ; or vanilla / amber frags like Angels Share, etc.. its along those same lines imho . 8/10 ; on smell, price, longevity... I also have Fragrance world's cocktail intense, and if you like YSL Tuxedo, you'll probably like that one too.

original aside, to me this is a mashup of Althair (candied vanilla) and Territoire Prive (sweet cucumber melon). There's a whiff of pepper in the middle that makes it a little more interesting. It has poor longevity but more than makes up for it by being affordable. You could bathe in the stuff and not go broke lol. But I just find it a bit too moderate for me - lacking that something extra to make it standout. I own all three, and if I had to rank this, I would choose Althair first, this one second and Territoire third. A safe but unexciting buy.

Finally a blind buy score, I've never smelled to OG, of course it's hard to come across, this is a really nice scent, opening isn't alcohol or nothin, it straight to the point, right out of the box, very nice violet leaf and patchouli combo, vanilla and rose creep in later with a slight pepperiness overall, super nice, will update with maceration, but rn so worth the $17.

I might be hallucinating, but this frag needed a lot of time to get good for me; ~5 months after purchase and just now coming back to it, I think it's getting good. Suddenly, the patchouli, pepper, and floral notes start to pop apart from each other. Before, the frag felt like a stuffy vanilla.

smells great kinda reminds me of bora bora exotic vibes . its hafe the price of the tux . could still smell it after 12 hours on skin . i forgot i had it on after a while but it does dries down after a couple of hours . 8 out of 10 only because i wish it was stronger . the smell is a 10

Great value! Just wanted to try something new and inexpensive and was pleasantly surprised at this scent. I will say you need to let this sit for a bit and let it maturate a little bit. After about 2 months this ended up having a richer ambergris and vanilla note.

Smells great for the price and is decently close to the original. Leans more to the vanilla but in a great way. At first the performance wasn't too good but as time went by and it macerated it became better.

Despite the note breakdown, this smells like chocolate chip cookie dough. Sweet, but not overly so. A very weak and soft fragrance; don't be afraid to overspray. I like it, it's just not something I'd wear.

Performance is very bad, you need to carry a travel decant and spray 5 minutes before you meet people, so that they can smell you, it's so fleeting and faint and almost instantly a skin scent 6/10

When I first got it it literally smelled like a dusty old book. I put it up for a few months. When I came back to it it was completely different, smooth and sexy. Now it's one of my daily go to's

It's a decent cheapie, average performance, I get prominent notes of patchouli and rose which kind of take over. Maybe after I let it macerate it will get better, most of my clone fragrances do.

As a Nigerian, I would say the fragrance is very good with Quality scent profile, but the only thing is that it doesn't last that long on clothes after an hour or 2 , it fades away

not as sweet or as loud as something like khamrah. bourbon vanilla works well in this dna. close bubble. Prefer suits over moustache. great value, 4.5/5.

super nice scent, 85-90% accurate clone...the biggest negative point,is the weak longevity,after 3 months of maturation, it lasts maximum 4 hours.

I originally bought this before pulling the trigger on YSL Tuxedo a couple years ago. I wore it on a trip to Brighton on the south coast. It's a fairly pleasant fragrance, but not anywhere near as nice as YSL Tuxedo. I have had a couple of clones over the years, and the Fragrance World Suits is probably one of the better ones. It certainly better than "Tux". It's easy to go anosmic to this fragrance, and it is pleasant enough. To me, the violet, rose, patchouli, and vanilla stand out the most. It's a decent fragrance for work, a good smart casual spray. 4-5 sprays does the trick, as it is a generic/ moderate sprayer. If I'm being objective about it, in scent profile it is probo about 75% in the direction of YSL Tuxedo. Other clones of Tuxedo I have owned are less. If you want an honest answer, just save up and get YSL Tuxedo. If you already have a bunch of fragrances and just wanted something in this general ball park then suits will do the job. Just be prepared to re-apply after 5 hours or so. Anything sweet you want to spray away so as not to go anosmic (back of neck, behind ears/ back of head - not in front). You'll get the odd waft of scent throughout the day. If you spray this in front of your nose or over spray you'll go nose blind like there's no tomorrow. People will smell it on you, but you've overloaded your olfactory senses and will be unable to sense it. It's an evolved survival defence mechanism. The smell is pleasant and not a threat, therefore your brain ignores it. But you probably already knew that!

#1389 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I've been on a low cost dupes binge for a while that I'm about to wrap up. Just a few left and this "Tuxedo" dupe is one of those. Does it smell like YSL "Tuxedo"? Absolutely. Is it worth $20? Absolutely. Does it perform like a $20 scent? Absolutely. I applied this before hitting a 40 minute walk around the lake, sillage is down to a hand space and I applied it generously. Not even that strong a skin scent. Maison Alhambra "the Tux" is not a clone per se, but close, and performs better. Same with Alhambra "Kismet." But for me, especially when I consider the $330-$375 price tag of Tuxedo, I go back to Rochas "Moustache Eau de Parfum" every time. It's a far better performer than Tuxedo or any of its dupes, has a better overall composition, and for $30-35 it's the best vanilla-amber bomb on the market. If you haven't tried it out you do yourself a disservice shelling out a car payment for Tuxedo. That said, this is carpool, elevator and small spaces safe. For me it would be casual wear only. It'll last through a dinner date, but it you use it as day wear, take it with you to re-apply midday.
