Lala

This smells nice, soft, friendly, sunny and warm. It bears a resemblance to lemon cleaner in the beginning but it quickly changes into a sandalwood and musk scent - but wait, there’s more....it gets floral/fruity after the woods... it’s like wearing three different scents all in a row. Lol I ordered the free sample from their site and I’ll probably use it up, but wouldn’t purchase a full bottle. It's nice, but it's not a standout fragrance.

This review is not only for Lala, but for the other perfumes from Fragrances for Life that are not yet in this database. Lala Playful citrus Complex notes of Grapefruit, Orange and Lily of the valley Lala was inspired by teachers according to FL and meant to be a long lasting light signature scent. I’m not a big fan of the opening (a little harsh lemony smell) but as it settles down I can smell the flowers and green tea. The dry down is a very pleasant musk and sandalwood scent that sits close to the skin. I think it’s a nice, unobtrusive, everyday fragrance, perfect for the office or any situation in which you can’t wear an “in your face” perfume. Juliet Romantic Floral Powdery Notes of Rose, Chocolate and Vanilla The chocolate note is very noticeable in the opening, but as it develops, the rose and jasmine start shining through along with a touch of citrusy vanilla. The dry down is smooth warm vanilla. Juliet by FL is a very elegant everyday fragrance year around. Kes Sassy Oriental Spicy Citrus, Notes of Lemon, Raspberry and Gardenia It opens as a sweet fruity scent and as it develops, you get gardenia and peach. The dry down is creamy amber and musk. I think it’s a happy, fun fragrance. This one has a little more projection that the others, but I wouldn’t consider it an oriental fragrance like the card suggests. Raine Relaxed Aquatic Crisp notes of Italian Bergamot, Sparkling Grapefruit and Jasmine. Raine was inspired by ocean breeze and calming waters, It opens very citrusy and fresh and gradually develops giving space to the white flowers. I think it’s a very crisp and refreshing fragrance that gives me “after shower” vibes. I actually like this one a lot for summer. Torrey Adventurous Woodsy Waxy Notes of Aqua marine, Amber and Sandalwood This one is my absolute favorite from the line. The open smells ambery-boozy to me, then it develops into a warm, enveloping, cozy scent. Do I smell tobacco notes? The dry down is smooth musk, amber and sandalwood. I can’t stop smelling my wrists when I wear this puppy.
