Limone e Vaniglia

Fragrance opens with a nice sweet lemony vanilla just like that found in varieties of quality Italian pastries. Yummy! In the dry down, the lemon is now only a hint. You are left with a sweet vanilla and faint cotton candy lying on top of a foundational musk. The vanilla is present from start to finish and the scent is never cloying. Like many Fragrenza scents, the dry down becomes much more complicated than the opening. Limone e Vaniglia leans toward the feminine user. I have sampled at least 9 Fragrenza scents, this one along with Amarena Cherry are in the top 2 according to my tastes.

OMG, this fragrance is an absolute delight! It reminds me of a luscious lemon poppy seed cake or a zesty lemon cake. The scent is incredibly yummy and has me craving for more. After smelling Xerjoff Lira, I can confidently say that this fragrance is a 99% dupe, with just a slightly sweeter touch in Limon e Vaniglia. It's a mouthwatering and irresistible scent that's perfect for those who adore the delectable aroma of lemony treats.

A citrusy and creamy vanilla dream with rich and decadent caramel. A light spice and black licorice lingers at the bottom of this gourmand powerhouse. It's not exactly my style, but it's well done and it's quite similar to Lira and lasts for a good 10-12 hours with a strong sillage. Oh boy. This perfume. I'm having a hard time deciding whether I like it or not. Upon spraying it on my wrist, I got to experience a marvel; The scent kept rapidly developing and changing as I was smelling it! It starts off as a tangy lemon scent, so sour and fresh it tickles the tongue! In the next moment, the lemon vanishes without a trace, a strong vanilla taking it's place. The vanilla quickly disappears, too, reverting back to the scent of fresh lemon, shortly, before the vanilla joins in, yet again. The two mingle together for a short while, retaining its creamy, smooth vanilla and the tangy, fresh lemon. As time goes on, sugar gets introduced and the previous two scents become more and more unified, subduing the both only slightly as the scent turns sweet. The longer and longer you wait, the sweeter this scent becomes as it now perfectly replicates the smell of store-bought lemon-cream cookies. At first this provides a welcome flashback to your childhood, a warm memory from when you last recall eating such sweets. Why, you might just buy a pack- But, as you'll soon come to realize and remember... You could only ever eat so many of them before the sweetness turned too sickly. But, oh nooo... you finally got a hold of sugary treats and you were never, as a child, going to deny the opportunity to stuff yourself with sugar. No matter how sick you might get. This perfume will remind you of this, because it soon turns sickly sweet. And it lingers. It lingers for a long time. 2, almost 3, days, this scent lasted - despite my wrists getting into contact with water and cleaning solutions frequently. For the first 36 hours, the sillage went from heavy to moderate. After this period it wasn't as powerful but I could still smell it on myself. So, yeah, I like it - but I always regret wearing it.

For me, this is perfection. Fresh squeezed lemon gives way to buttery vanilla cake, I'm reminded of iced lemon loaf and lemon shortbread cookies, laid out on a picnic blanket on a sunny day. It is very, very sweet, but thankfully on my skin it somehow still remains light and fluffy. Sillage is very good and it has great staying power. Between this and my bottle of 'Selva Africana' (dupe of Byredo Bal d'Afrique) I'm really impressed with Fragrenza. These may be dupes of much more expensive perfumes, but they are beautiful on their own as well.

Gourmand heaven. Reminds me of Soft by Al Rehab in the opening ie lots of sugary citrus but it dries down way more similar to Lira. It literally smells exactly like a lemon drizzle cake, no other description needed 😂 if you wanna smell edible this is the one! And it’s a great dupe for Lira, only difference is it’s a lot sweeter in the opening as I mentioned, but for the price I can’t complain especially as the drydown is on point and the performance is pretty good too!
