That's a really nice scent: lots of aquatic and citrus notes over a light tonka bean/vanilla base. Opens with aldehyde and water notes, followed by neroli and some pepper. In the dry-down you can smell the tonka bean, but very light - suitable for summer. Excellent lasting power, sillage and projection. But it can have you olfactory fatigue.

I would like to start off by saying that I've been lurking on this website for several years now. I've spent many hours reading reviews and doing research on fragrances that interested me. Never in this span of time had I ever felt the need to write a review for a fragrance until today. This is supposed to be a clone of Allure Homme Sport. There is little information of this house available online. However, I love discovering new fragrances -especially ones that don't have reviews on here - so I decided to take the risk. For what it's worth, the smell is pretty similar, its major downfall is its terrible longevity and projection. Normally, I don't mind fragrances that don't project well or last too long. As an example, I love D&G's The One. I'm well aware of it's reputation for it's less than average performance for most people, but I find nothing wrong with it. And yet, here I am - absolutely regretting my purchase of Uomo Sportivo based solely on its performance. It's advertised as an edp, but that claim really conflicts with its performance. The smell vanishes within the first 20 seconds of application on my skin. 10+ sprays in and it still disappears within the minute. I can't shake the thought of this just being super diluted Allure Homme Sport just in a different bottle. Anyway, this was $35 not well spent. It smells nice enough, but it has obligated this long time lurker here to pop the review cherry and write about about its EXTREMELY poor performance. 2/10 :(
