Love for Sale

This is Lover’s Tale with a hint of rose and a generous amount of red gummy bears. Definitely a Lover’s Tale flanker. The dry down is very much the same, and no, you don’t need both.

So far, It was the most successful blind buy ever 😍 Very beautiful blend of Peachy Leather Francesca Bianchi’s Creations never cease to amaze and impress me ❤️ Bravo 👏

Nice scent but on the feminine side of things to my nose. I was expecting something closer to The Lovers Tale with a twist, but this does steer in a different direction with the aldehydes and the red fruits, making it too feminine for me. Still a nice and unique scent for a lady :)

I have been hunting for a bottle of Love for Sale for a while now and, about a month ago, one finally came up - I leaped at the opportunity, despite being a total blind buy. I was incredibly excited because I’d heard the similarities to The Lover’s Tale, which I adore. But upon receiving it, disappointment sadly is all I felt. It’s a lovely scent don’t get me wrong, the dense leather and powdery orris are instantly recognisable from The Lover’s Tale, but far more polite, feminine and restrained. The presence of overtly sugary red berries and peach jam, are unnecessarily sweetened even further with the candy floss and sparkling aldehydes. It comes across a bit sickly to me, up close especially. And in the air, feels like a flanker of The Lover’s Tale made for adolescents, a more youthful and less interesting version. I guess the excitement of this scent being limited and discontinued got the better of me unfortunately.

Love for Sale, such a limited edition fragrance. Loved at first sniff. No samples, so it was a Blind Buy. I’m enjoying 2 from the house, Sticky Fingers, Angels Dust. Knowing the notes ,it was for me. The packaging was so extra, it had a love note from Francesca, booklet of her Liquid Emotions, generous samples of her pieces, and Hedonik. In skimming the booklet, I’m so intrigued on the names and descriptions of her line.. it reads like a book.. FB house is such a beautiful interpretation of Niche. These are moving to my Wishlist.
