Sticky Lips

Why why WHY was this such a limited edition??? This perfume is MADE for me. It is simply perfect. The rose surrounded by tobacco, sandalwood, iris butter, patchouli and spices, all my favorite things, the rose is strong and pronounced and somehow not drowned out by all the other heavy notes, the drydown is earthy gorgeousness without a trace of harsh synthetic woody aromachemicals that permeate everything these days. I'm lucky to have a decant and I'm just going to use it up this winter. I'll likely not be able to replace it but I want to enjoy this perfume and not let it evaporate just because I'm afraid to wear it and miss its absence. Seriously this perfume can stand with my most favorite perfume Samsara it's that wonderful to me. It's stunning perfection and wears like a dream. PLEASE MS. BIANCHI BRING THIS BACK I AM BEGGING YOU.

It’s so beautiful. How can something be so dark and so bright at the same time? The opening smells like Angel’s Dust was added to Sticky Fingers, and it is delightfully overwhelming. Very lipsticky but with the soft kitten fur-patchouli effect of Sticky Fingers. There is also a distinct cola note that disappears after the opening. I’m reminded for a fleeting moment of Tabu and then, for an even briefer moment, Aromatics Elixir, both of which are anchored to the unmistakable Sticky Fingers base. This one is a shapeshifter. There is just so much in it. I’m in the drydown now, and it’s everything I love about Sticky Fingers, but with a boost of leather. I wish it wasn’t a limited release. This is such a great fragrance!

The opening reminds me intensely of Angel's Dust but as the fragrance begins to dry down the rose and tonka appear and it becomes truly stunning. I get a lipsticky makeup accord as well which I suppose is the iris butter letting go of the reins. I do get cinnamon when sniffed straight from the bottle but that seems to incorporate into the whole once it is sprayed. The notes are all very well balanced and well behaved with none edging out the other to shine. I wish I had words to describe the beauty of this fragrance and really hope Ms. Bianchi will release this in some form in her regular collection as I can see myself going through 30 ml quickly if I knew it could be replaced.

I finally got a brand new bottle of this beautiful perfume. Now my Francesca Bianchi collection is complete. Because the bottles are only 30ml, I usually buy 3-4 of each. I’ll have to seek out another 2 bottles of this one. Being that it’s extremely limited, that’s gonna be hard . PS if anyone wants to buy a sample, I can sell you samples . No way it's so poorly ranked. It's one of the best Iris perfumes I've tried in my entire life. Very elegant, slightly fresh in the opening, then dark, but never dirty, just leathery. The performance is incredible. That's really next-level cosmetic Iris vibes, the rose is very subtle and perfectly mixed with the Iris. I hope that she realeses it in her permanent collection, it's perfect.

Incredibly interesting, sexual, sour and animalic rose. Feels fresher than it has the right to, considering the weight and darkness it has. Smells like your lumberjack husband arrived home at night. He has worked all day, the sweat has already dried and soured on his shirt and leather jacket. He fucks you firmly, but lovingly.

It’s like a mix of sticky fingers with tons of iris and rose. The opening is very pretty, powdery and lipsticky. Reminds me of Jardins d’Armide. Unfortunately this phase doesn’t last more than one hour or so, as the patchouli takes over and it’s the only thing I can detect.

I own an almost full bottle of this limited edition, discontinued release, but I’m not into the rose/patchouli combo (or rose in perfume in general) so I’d love to swap my perfume within the EU. I was fortunate enough to be able to get 2 bottles of this beauty. At first I thought, I’ll purchase 2 since it’s limited edition and if I don’t love it, I could always sell the other and it would sell easily because it’s limited edition. But, it is a lovely fragrance and I feel I will probably keep the other as a back up because it is truly beautiful!

I was under the impression this was a very limited selection of only 400 bottles which sold out within hours of release. Does anyone know if there will there be more???

The best patchouli-tinged, rosy lipstick scent. Such a crying shame it was a limited run!
