Vanille 08:00

Really good and pretty unique. It does not project well, it also does not last long, but I think I miiiiight overlook these because it is nice as hell! As others said, this is not a gourmand vanilla, but I would not call it fresh though... Sweet, comforting, maybe a bit powdery. Update: it does last long, I still can smell it days later on my jacket, it just doesn't project like crazy. I'm verging on obessed with this one, I always want to wear it. I love all the stages of this perfume.

My second favorite from Francesca dell'Oro, with Vanille 12:00 being the first. To my nose, 8:00 is a chilly, soft, vanilla. The orris note is waxy and slightly earthy, not powdery at all. To my surprise and much like Iris Dragees, 8:00 is not as sweet as the notes lead you on to believe- I would even go as far to say that 8:00 feels like a much improved version of Iris Dragees with respect to projection and performance...

A comforting, lightly sugared orris with almonds. It’s so good! This would be nice for an everyday scent or bedtime.

This is a romantic soft vanilla. It doesn’t protrude and sits close to the skin. It reminds me of Celine Black Tie but without the iris. It is slightly sweeter and definitely more feminine leaving some of that candied almond in the base. The Orris and Tonka probably contribute to the softness yet sweet bubble. I do not pick up the peony. Definitely dainty and I don’t know if I would invest in a full bottle due to the lack of projection.

I saw a review for this on TikTok and was expecting so much, but I'm a little weirded out by this one. I liked it on paper; it was very light, clean, powdery barely-vanilla. The 'Confetti' note actually feels very spot on. On skin, this went much stronger than I expected. I have one spray on my arm and it has been assaulting me with powdered candy almonds all day. It's not a bad smell, but I don't really like smelling it either. It's very unique - if you love a sweet powdery vibe, I think this one's for you. I also got a sample of 12:00, so I'll see how that one fares.

I was super excited to try this, only to find that the opening and middle smell like straight up cognac on me. The drydown is beautiful, the orris manages to shine, but it comes in too late. Might be the hot weather, but I cannot ignore the association.

I thought I’d love this one more than 12:00, but surprisingly, I’d pick 12:00 over this. It’s still nice, just not the standout I expected. Did a proper skin test and... nope. Not won over. This one’s a no for me.

You have a favorite doll from childhood. The doll lives with all the other plastic toys, play-doh creations, sweet candy wrappers and scratch-and-sniff stickers. This is the smell of that doll.

A friend of mine really liked it. He tried to convince me to try the vial because he knew i liked vanilla. But in the end it didn't impress me at all. Really really normal.

Reminds me of maison lancome iris dragees in the opening, which is great news for folks who couldnt buy a bottle of that. By the time im writing this, i have found and purchased 3 bottles of iris dragees...still happy to have found something similar. The lady who thinks below that this is an improvement from dragees is a little off with that comment: dragees is still standing alone and hands down the best iris fragrance out there. Vanilla 8 is a powdery iris vanilla, more iris and more powder than vanilla. I wish it did have more vanilla and if it was a tad stronger. Its pretty, will have to spend more time with her to form a final opinion.

À la première pulverisation, je me suis dit " ça a l'air d'une petite vanille légère sans intérêt!" ... elle est maintenant là depuis 2 heure et elle gagne en qualité et en profondeur : une vanille proche de la peau , aérienne , très délicate que j'aime beaucoup !! Elle ressemble un peu à " dans Paris " de Celine , avec une légère odeur d'amande , une sensation de guimauve enveloppante pas vraiment sucrée ... très très joli!!

Clean and fluffy, the vanilla is there, this is sweet but not gourmand. Heavy clean musk in the drydown. The ambroxan here is noticeable but not burning my nostrils...this has a very musky drydown that reminds me a lot of Initio Musk Therapy! Initio Musk therapy with a sweet twist.

Smells like clean shampoo bubbles and suds sprinkled with... sprinkles (redundant, I know). I like this fragrance better than 12:00 because it’s not as intense. Very cute, unoffensive, it’s not a beast mode fragrance like 12:00 is but it’s very noticeable all day long.

My favourite from all of this line: tenderly fresh rounded vanilla (“fresh” being a key-word), sunny and slightly flowery. Very gentle but with confident presence of morning on your skin for 4-5 hours. Getting it for spring season.

It's nice, has positive vibe, a bit fluffy powdery (just a bit). First notes give slightly fizzy/bubbly notes. Subtile, pleasant, joiful - I like it.

another vanilla perfume. the floral and fruity notes were nice but overall nothing special imo.
